Runza Drive Inn of America

I preordered a dozen frozen Runzas to take back to Texas because the Lone Star state isn't fortunate enough to have such a wonderful establishment. The gentleman who took my order was helpful and knowledgeable, let me know of the discount for buying a dozen. When I arrived, the staff on hand were aware of my order, very friendly, and got me on my way quickly. Thanks so much, and they were delicious fresh out of the oven!

Red Path Gallery & Tasting Room

Several local artists are highlighted here with a two-month rotation. I liked that when I read the artists last name, I recognized that artist as "so and so's" _______ (fill in the blank) mother, brother, daughter. Nebraska wines only here which you can order for $5 per glass or a "tasting" of three different wines on the list for $5, or you can buy it by the bottle. They also offer locally brewed "Zip-line" beers, as well as old-fashioned bottled soda pop. When we visited on a Thursday evening we met the proprietor, Jeanne and her husband Verle, as well as a college student who specializes in digital performance art preparing for a presentation of her work she will give this Sat. Night at 7:30. She said she goes to Concordia University and feels blessed to have a local gallery while she is in school. I will definitely be returning to purchase a few of my favorite pieces, which were as reasonably priced as I have seen anywhere.

McDonald's is always a good one for road trips. We didn't like that we asked and paid for a large drink and we were only given a medium. Other than that food was normal and drive through was speedy.

Best Mexican I've had in Nebraska we make trips from lincoln just to eat here. The salsa and chips are very fresh and have great flavor. The service good can be slow if they are busy but worth the wait.
Stopped on a whim based on other yelp reviews, while driving cross country via I 80. Was not disappointed. All the food looked and tasted fabulous. The service was quick and friendly. on a Saturday night, prime time for dinner we were greeted and seated immediately. just awesome.
This is a great stop along I-80 that will get you out of the usual truck-stop grub. Tasty (and quite authentic for Nebraska) you can't go wrong if you like Mexican. The charro beans are the way to go (includes bacon). The place sneaks up on you, it's across the street from the Walmart. Yep, I know what you're thinking, this town even has Walmart!

The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Make sure and save room for dessert as the Peach Crisp was excellent.
Food was hot and very good. The wait was a little longer for food but all in all a great experience
I had the chance to stop in last night. After reading the Yelp reviews, I opted to give out a try..a few said good, a few said so-so, an one said bad. I think the so-so crowd wins. On the first look, you can see that they are trying to be a bit. nicer than a rural diner...call the decor, 'Upscale Prairie.' I ordered pork chops, green beans, and garlic potatoes. The best part was the beans...crisp, firm, with just the right amount of freshness. Next were the garlic mashed potatoes, which were hot and garlicky...they also had texture that was just right. The dinner roll was also warm and just right. The price was also reasonable. NOW for the negative.. Service was slow and distracted. I came for dinner, and when I needed my waitress for more water, she was busy on sidework or giving a detailed descriptionof her trip to Bolivia....I was concerned that she was going to break out slides, complete with a picture of the Spanish Inquisition... (Let's pause while I look around because NOBODY expects...) OKAY.... My last concern were my pork chops...they were pretty thin and dry...while flavorful, it still took away from things....Ii would suggest either having one thicker chop and not overcooking as much..also, how about even a small side of apple sauce? Soooo... I have to give 2 of 5...they are trying...but they just need to focus a bit more.

Not sure where to start with this review... Restaurant was well staffed for a Friday night and seeing as how we were one of two tables you would figure the service would be fantastic. We entered and had 6 Staff members stare at us blankly for several minutes before being asked if we were dining in. Our waitress didn't introduce herself upon seating or when ordering drinks. She returned and stared at us blankly so we assumed it was time to order. The food was average, but did arrive hot. Our waitress never checked on us once. We sat with empty drinks for over 15 mins and the restaurant still only had 2 tables while the locals getting carry out slammed their drinks and got a refill in 60 seconds?! Don't waste your money on this place folks. Try Godfathers Pizza in town or take a 30 minute trip to Lincoln. We will not return when traveling.
