Love this place! Clean and cozy atmosphere are a great find for downtown Scottsbluff. Food is delicious, especially the Stromboli and lasagna. Love that they have Third Stone Brown on tap too!

We had three adults and three kids eat here last night. The lasagna was good -- it arrived lukewarm but otherwise made for an enjoyable meal. The spaghetti wasn't as flavorful. None of us cared for the garlic roll, as it had no discernible garlic flavor (we like garlic). I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Caesar salad was made with romaine lettuce. Based on the other reviews I was expecting iceberg. We had both white and red wine and both were fine. This is not a fabulous Italian joint, but you could do a lot worse. They do need more help waiting the tables.

An odd one. I had one of their strombolis. It was delicious and the sauce was really good, but the wine (the house merlot) was oxidized and tasted awful. And the service was peculiar. Each server takes care of his or her own tables -- fine, but when your server is the one answering the phone, or B-Sing with the pretty girls in the next booth -- no one picks up your plate or brings you your check. You just have to wait. Oh, and my server didn't clear the table. He just took the money. I don't live in Scottsbluff, so I'm not likely come back. I think if you just want pizza, order it here and take it home. That would solve all my issues.

Went to Sam & Louie's last night. We hadn't gone there in over a year. This time we had lasagna instead of pizza. It came with salad and roll. The roll was delicious, as was the generous portion of lasagna. I even have enough left over for lunch. I will definitely go back for the lasagna.

The pizza here is good enough. The crust was my favorite part, fresh and light, not too thick or doughy. The were very skimpy with the toppings on a one topping pizza. 1-2 mushrooms per slice on a 16". Same story for the bacon. We enjoyed the $1 draft beer special. The downside was how long it took to get our food. We understand that there were a lot of takeout orders due to the Huskers game, but an hour is excessive when you are hungry.

We love this place! The BBQ chicken pizza is so good. It has chopped red peppers on it that give it a little kick and make it different from your average bbq chicken pizza. We also love that they offer a special every day of the week. Great service with friendly staff and wonderful food. Ps. BBQ chicken wings appetizer is addicting!

Freshest pizza in town! The wings are great too! Staff is always friendly and accommodating. They have daily specials so keep an eye out for them. Don't forget to check in for your freebie!

Good stuff for pizza. Service was really good...food was decent. Had the calzone special and it was good. Pizza sauce was very sweet for my taste. I like more heat than sweet. Beer was nice and cold. Lots of wine!

I was very excited to hear of the new pizza parlor in the downtown area. Who doesn't like pizza?! When we arrived we were seated promptly (not many dining in), the eating area was casual and clean with a TV at every turn. The establishment has a full bar to thirst your quench. The staff was adequate and we were served our food in a timely fashion: Soft drinks, appetizers, salad, and, of course, PIZZA! The parlor is a nice addition to the community, but all aspects of the dining experience were just mediocre. This eatery had and has the opportunity to run away with the pizza market...luckily for S &L, all the other pizza providers are lackluster chains. I hope one day this little community can experience what delicious pizza tastes like: Brick oven fired, fresh not frozen or canned toppings, sauce from scratch, and local cheeses and meats. Those who know...know the difference. Again, I am very happy to see a new face in the pizza market in Scottsbluff, but there are higher expectations for quality restaurants.

Usually we like eating here. Last night was the worst service and the waitress forgot 3 things that we ordered! When we inquired about them (salad, fried pickles and wings) she said we did not order them! Then she brought everything out at once. There was only 5 in our party.

Sam & Louie's had me from the first bite over the noon-hour in opening day & went back for supper than night. It's became a fast staple on my noon hour lunch places with at least weekly visits since they opened. Great local owners behind this place. Support local downtown Scottsbluff. With any new place there are to be a few bumps, but the are doing great. Give them a try !! I highly recommend the seasoned waffle fries for starters .

Service was great, they were great with our toddler. Beer was ice cold! Bread sticks were good and pizza was good, could have used a little more sauce but I added the tomato & basil seasoning and that helped. Great crust! I would definitely come again, they had an extensive menu!

It took over an hour to get our pizza. We witnessed 3 different tables get up and leave because of the poor service and long wait for food. When we finally did get our pizza and it was not good. It was not cooked properly, there was little if any sauce on it, and even our easy to please 14 year old was turned off. It cost $24.00 for a 16" pie. When trying to get the attention of the wait staff for our ticket so we could leave, they were too busy playing with the ice in their cups behind a beerless bar. The staff was not friendly, the food is way over priced and the pizza is not good. We will not be returning.

we arrived at the restaurant around 3:30 pm May 11, 2014 wanting to relax and have a bite to eat. the waitress was in a big hurry to get our order even thought we were the only ones there. we ordered the super nachos ($7.00) with beef. our food arrived cold (platter was hot) and we had to ask the waitress ...where is the beef? the "super nachos" were a big pile of tortilla chips with melted cheep cheese on top and 9 tiny pieces of "beef" buried in the pile. Needless to say we would not recommend the place to our friends
