Loved this little dive bar on the side of the road. After spending a wonderful afternoon at the nearby Bay Hills golf course, we could not drive past this place without stopping. I am a big fan of divey bars, and this place did not disappoint. The drinks were cheap, and the food was excellent. Would definitely come here again!

Cleanliness 4 Service 4 Food 4 Likelihood 5 1-5 (5 Best!) 4.3 Ok, a new little joint just South of Bellevue. It has two (4 seat) tables, yes it is small. They seem to do a lot of to-go orders. We drove down from Omaha and decided to eat in. What a treat! A very good quality product, served with a smile, in a very clean restaurant. If you are looking for "famous daves" stay in Omaha. if you are looking for a locally owned, operated and ran restaurant that offers great food, great service at a fair price, then come on down! The four of us had meals, beverages and dessert (home made) and spent $50! (That would have been ($85 at FD!) It will make our rotation of must do agains... You can find them easily on FB by searching Babes Hometown. GOOD JOB!
I've been wanting to stop here and try their BBQ ever since I drove by and spotted it. Just a little "shack" if you will, along the highway in Plattsmouth. It seems to me that some of the best BBQ (in Missouri anyway) comes out of these little hole-in-the wall shacks. The inside is a bit small, but still had about 4 tables I believe. Very clean place and friendly people working there. They don't smoke their meat on site, which was different for me. I LOVE going into a BBQ place and smelling the smoky aroma of BBQ. That's what really gets my hunger going, so that was a little disappointing. My order was to go. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans and mac-n-cheese. While they packaged up my order I sampled some of their 10 homemade sauces to decide which one I wanted to bring home for my sandwich. The Blackberry Brandy sauce was very good...just not sure if I wanted that on my sandwich. I settled on the Rum BBQ sauce and the Medium Mesquite. Both very good. The pork sandwich was very tender and tasty. Perhaps it was a bit of a sweeter smoke than I prefer, but good nonetheless. I really liked the beans. Lots of meat in them...perhaps brisket? Good BBQ flavor. I also liked the flavor of the mac-n-cheese; however it was a bit pasty for my taste, but that is probably unavoidable when it isn't super fresh. I was bummed when I got home that I didn't order their apple crisp for dessert. I've read it's awesome. Guess I'll be going back to try that...oh and the brisket! Good stuff...give them a try!
Good BBQ not mind blowing, but good. Their Mac n Cheese is a specialty and great BBQ beans. Different kinds of homemade sauces you can try. I'll go back more than likely.

What a cute little cafe! We had breakfast here twice in a row during our little weekend in Plattsmouth. The waitresses are super friendly! When we saw our first waitress again on our second visit she made a big deal about us coming back. It was sweet, and made me miss living in a small town! As for the food, I had the build-your-own omelet which is a deal at under $6 for four toppings. My husband got the Egg BLT which was so good, we both ended up getting the same thing the next morning. The coffee was pretty good, and they were nice not to get annoyed at the absurd amount of cream and sugar I used. One eventually brought me one of the big sugar containers you can pour instead of the tiny packets (score!). The only criticism I have is that our sandwiches took a VERY long time to come out since the place got so busy, but the waitress apologized a lot and we didn't mind since we were enjoying our coffee and conversation. I'd definitely go back!
Well I guess I'm just not convinced that 2 bad experiences ain't enough. I was headed through Plattsmouth on the way to Lincoln (can't get to Lincoln from Sidney any other way these days) and even after bad experiences at Mom's I convinced my dumb ass to try breakfast there again. The waitress was way cool and accommodating and I ordered 2 eggs over easy, 2 sausage patties, toast and milk. The sausage was SO greasy I took 1 bite, not believing it could be THAT bad I took a bite of the eggs, hmmmm not bad, over easy, hot, me likes. I cut into the sausage and it squirted, yes folks, it SQUIRTED, water or grease or ???? all over my plate. I finished my eggs, finished my toast with mixed fruit jelly, paid 10 bucks and left. That's it, NEVER AGAIN, great concept, nice people and seriously crappy food.
Maybe the best open-faced roast-beef sandwich smothered in gravy that you'll ever eat. I say "maybe" because I have never actually eaten one, but all my friends say they are super-terrific. I pretty much stick with the cheeseburger and fries, which are just plain good enough. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, though the last time I was there, my waitress must have been hard of hearing. I ordered my usual cheeseburger and fries, but she brought be a Reuben instead. Maybe she knew better than I. Maybe I had been getting into a rut, a routine, a grind. I did not send it back. Why embarrass her? Anyway, the Reuben was fine. And so was the Diet Cola (can't recall whether Mom's is a "Coke" or "Pepsi" establishment). My only complaint: someone was sitting at my favorite table. You know, the one by the window with all the knick-knacks on the window sill. I took some pictures on my previous visit. Maybe I'll post them sometime. The thing is, this guy, the one sitting at my table, left not 5 minutes after I got there. I would have asked to move, but didn't want to cause a scene. Besides, like I said, the waitress was kind of hard of hearing. She may have misunderstood. Unfortunately, I had an appointment right after lunch, or I would have stayed to see the demonstration on mopping "the navy way."

Been over two years since we've had pizza from here. In town on business and had delivered for dinner, was quite tasty and enjoyed. One of the best taco pizzas around. Sadly won't be back to Plattsmouth, but keep up the good work!

My family goes here often. Although it's the only Mexican in Plattsmouth (unless you consider Taco Bell Mexican) La Fiesta is pretty good. I've had the fajitas, the mi something burrito, I haven't had a dish I don't like. At times the service is lacking, but it always seems like they need more people. The food always comes out very quickly, it's just hard for them to come back to your table. But for Americanized Mexican they would get 5 stars on food, 4 on service. Fairly Clean place and centrally located in Plattsmouth.
Had dinner here tonight with my husband. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Food was great. Service was good. And the place was clean. Thumbs up from me.
Have had takeout from here several times, really good food! Nice to not have to drive to Sarpy or Douglas County for Mexican food! Always enjoy the food choices we've had.

Over cooked dry stale was how we found the food. Chicken sandwich was not fun, very dry and the double whoppers with cheese were a total disappointment, like half a slice of cheese on the sandwich!! Fries were cold! Won't go back there again!
