I can't even. In general I feel like cupcakes are overrated. However, these cupcakes could not possibly be overrated. Smallcakes has great flavors that change regularly. Every single one is good. For real. Super moist and delicious. I will drive out of my way for one of these babies.

I know there are a lot of cupcake places in the Omaha area, but you should at least check this place out once, at least! It's really cute inside and the person behind the counter was super nice and helpful. They have a large selection of daily cupcakes and ones they have all the time. I'm sure you'll find something you like! I got three cupcakes, but I think our overall favorite was the carrot cake! I was really delicious! The price is about the same as the other cupcake places in town, but for those of you who live in the Papillion area, its way closer than some of the others.

We have gone 4 times in the past month during business hours and they have never been open. Would love to try their cupcakes but I'm tired of wasting my time.

Tuesday's are the day to go. Cupcakes are normally $3.25 apiece; however, every Tuesday, you get 4 cupcakes for $10.00. A savings of $3.00 off normal price. We tried the peach cobbler (special of the day), caramel macchiato, pink vanilla, and strawberry. Cake is moist. The caramel macchiato was not very strong. Plenty of icing on all of them (which I like). Convenient for when you have a sweet tooth.

While driving home from the Egg & I completely stuffed from devouring a Colorado Scrambler with pancakes, I saw this gem tucked inside the new strip mall at the corner of 370 & 84th. There was no room in my stomach for cupcakes but plenty of room in the vehicle so.... 4 cupcakes to go please! I ordered 2 Red Velvet, 1 Lemon Drop, and 1 Carrot Cake, all with butter cream frosting. One word....wow!! I need at least three visits to assess consistency before giving a 5 star rating. Afterwards, I will adjust the rating up or down as needed!

Great cupcakes, Red Velvet ones are great. However once AGAIN tonight stopped to satisfy my sweet tooth only to find the shop closed and empty prior to the advertised closing time, Turned around and got delicious zebra brownies from Wheatfields. Great product when available.

Not only were the cakes beyond tasty and moist and all around delicious, they gave my hubby a free cupcake because it was his birthday. What a great bonus!! Very affordable and did I mention how yummy the cupcakes are?

Great selection of amazing cupcakes all made daily and from scratch, and I am super picky about baked goods. The customer service is great... Always friendly and welcoming.

These cupcakes are awesome!! They are really hearty. Jones Bros. is all icing then a tiny cupcake. This is all cupcake with complimentary icing that isn't too much. With that said, there is downside. My daughter ate a chocolate cupcake and felt sick half way through. Nausea and headache. Then she got a bloody nose. She never gets them. It was really odd. I had a cupcake that day, and didn't get sick. Neither did my other daughter. However, a week later I went back and got three vanilla cupcakes. We thought maybe my daughter couldn't tolerate the chocolate. She decided not to eat it because she was a little gun shy. We weren't sure if was the cupcake or not. Immediately after I had mine, I felt a little nauseous. I had dearly hoped it wasn't the cupcake. Since my daughter didn't eat hers, I happily ate it. I got sicker. This really devastated me. I was sick for about 24 hours. Not sure why, but there must be something in the ingredients we can't tolerate. We don't have gluten allergies, and this has never happened before with cake. We are a cake/cupcake family so this is a real bummer. I did ask the attendant what ingredients may have caused this. They were a bit unsure and wouldn't discuss. I realized they thought I may have been trying to steal the recipe, so I stopped. At any rate, the cupcakes are super yummy, the service is great with super nice individuals working there. Though since we can't tolerate them, I won't be purchasing again.

I tried the peanut butter cup cupcake. You can't get "peanut butter cup" anything if you're not a peanut butter fan, and this flavor was no exception. The cake was moist and rich without being too heavy. The buttercream was to die for--but it's sweet. If you often find things "too sweet" than this might not be the one for you. The shop was adorable and the staff was super friendly. AND they had a military discount. Awesome place. I'm sure I'll be back!

Stopped by today since we realized the shoppe is now open. At first glance, it seems like a regular cupcake store. The cupcakes are stacked on cake tiers behind the glass and look like perfect tv cupcakes. With Jones Bros here in Omaha, I wondered how long this cupcakery will last.... Until I tasted one! See, Jones Bros has been featured on Food Network and a winner on cupcake wars. I have been there, and found that we all (5 of us) could not eat more than half a cupcake because it was so sugary. Smallcakes was a perfect not-too-sweet cupcake! We tried 5 different cupcakes, and since I'm the mom, got to try them all! We bought "Cookies & Cream", "Birthday Cake", "Cookie Dough", "Salted Caramel", and "Lemon Drop". Lemon Drop had a surprise of lemon curd in the middle. All of them were delicious, moist, almost falling apart, and melting in my mouth. The frosting was also smooth and creamy, and not too sweet. I loved it so much I bought a t-shirt that says "Cupcakes are a girls best friend". After us just moving to this area, and trying Smallcakes for the first time, I don't mind being free advertisement. It is THAT good! Military Discounts are available! Yay!

Went in late evening to visit their shop. The same set up as the old market area shop, a tv playing video/ music, no coffee here, bring your own. They have a large selection, but when I arrived, only some flavors left. Person taking care if us was friendly, informative. I had the choc ho lic cupcake. I usually cut into because if you bite in it may fall apart and onto your clothes and floor. It was very soft and fell apart,it should be a little firm, the bread had a good taste, the chocolate frosting was not too sweet, but I don't think it was real chocolate, didn't taste like real dark or milk chocolate, could be a chocolate flavoring from a bottle , not sure. I would need to taste the others to tell you if it's true fruit flavoring or artificial . I tried several cupcakes from around the US & I give it a 3 star rating, average to good, nothing exceptional.

Amazing cupcakes! Actually, the best I've ever had. We tried the chocolate, fall, pink chocolate, and lick my Butterfinger. All so good! We will be back. Oh, also the shop is super cute:)

Saw this place on the way home from church the other day and just had to try it. I brought my cousin over today, and at first we were disappointed in how limited the selection was, but we found out they had just sold a ton of cupcakes earlier. A feat considering this place had just opened three days ago. The associate Drew offered to customize the remaining vanilla cakes however we wished, There was a wide selection of frosting available and he was very helpful with his suggestions. My cousin was very, very impressed with the customer service and so was I. Great place, great service, and i will definitely be coming back again to try the rest of the cupcake options.

Stopped in with my wife and tried the Chocolate Carmel Crunch and Blue moon (specialty cupcake), both were very moist and well worth it. I look forward to trying more cupcakes!

I stopped by the other day, and I got their strawberry cupcake and their daily special butterscotch cupcake. They were delicious! very moist. It's not like some other specialty cupcakes that are very pretty to look at, but don't match its looks with taste. These cupcakes are both very eye appealing as well as great tasting! Definitely going back and trying their mini cupcakes for upcoming events!
