Great place!! Some of the best food I've ever had. And the emoloyees are always great. They have a cheat sheet to explain what each thing is and whats in it. They will happily make any adjustments for you as well, like mild or spicy or extra meat, no veggies... etc... Typical American Chinese food with great prices you just cant beat. Place is a little dated and hasn't been updated since they opened, but we get take out most of the time anyways. A must try!

Vegans beware!!! 36% price increase in last few weeks! I visit Hunan about every 6 weeks and was just here about 3 weeks ago. Normally I dine in with a friend but today just wanted an inexpensive lunch to go. 3 weeks ago the Mixed Veggies was $5.55. Today, $7.55!! While I think the food quality is worth $6.55, I think there are better values, better decor, better take away prices elsewhere. Think I will be testing out other Chinese restaurants that offer animal product free meals (which I always find in Chinese restaurants without difficulty OTHER than buffets).

After reading the reviews on here and a couple other sites this morning my husband and I had to try out this little gem. We moved here from a Boston suburb 5 months ago and have yet to find a good Chinese place... until today! The service was great (very quick), the food was delicious and the price was pretty comparable with what we are use to back home. We had the cashew chicken with white rice, General Tso's chicken with lo mein, and the fried dumplings. All of which were delicious and there is still plenty left over for a second meal for us. So it averages out at right around $6 a meal! GREAT VALUE & GREAT TASTE :-)

It is okay. My husband likes it but I'm not a big fan. The sauces are too sweet for my liking and a bit bland. We ordered the kung pao and the general tsaos and it wasn't crispy or very flavorful.

Family takeout night we all enjoy! Glass noodles, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, pepper steak, Kung Pao Shrimp, Brocoli Shrimp all a big hit for us! Give them time because they're popular AND they make it fresh!!!

I just had lunch. The taste of the food on the buffet was okay at best. The selection is limited. The place was dirty too. Don't plan on using the restroom because the door is blocked by a vacuum, high chair and a fan. The restroom is a pit.

Huge fan of their broccoli chicken! Lots of food for a good price. A little out of the way now that Gold Coast road isn't connected directly to 370 but find a way there, you won't be disappointed.

I've driven by the Hunan Palace often and dismissed it every time as just another low quality strip-mall joint. I was wrong. Very tasty food and very easy on the wallet is a combination that will have me coming back for more in the future. The staff was very friendly as well.

First time here. The tiny quaint atmosphere was perfect. We opted to have the mini buffet which was full of different items. The only complaint I had was some buffet containers had run empty and weren't being replenished as they should be. Fast wait staff and a full menu if you choose will keep us coming back

Let me tell you why almost everyone comes here: If you order the lunch buffet and an ice water you will basically get all you can eat Chinese food for $6. That's the big draw. It's cheap. It's average Asian cuisine. Nothing to get excited over and nothing to drive out of your way to eat. If you want a cheap lunch and you're in the area then stop in. It's a typical strip mall Chinese restaurant. If you don't know what to expect when you walk in the door, then you've been hiding under a rock most of your life. They also have a menu you can order off of. Same concept applies: cheap average Asian cuisine. I don't intend this to be a negative review by any means. It's decent food for a very nice price. I have other inexpensive Asian restaurants I prefer, but if you live in the area then there's no reason not to patronize this one. Service is very friendly.

We went here for the first time - all the reviews were good - but I would not go back. If you like poor service, forgotten portions of your order, and eating in shifts then this is the place for you. 3 of us got our meals - the 4th came out for my 7 year old daughter 10 minutes later with no apology. If you like the owners kids running around and watching their ipad while yelling while you dine - you will also like this place. The food itself - not to bad honestly but it was a Chinese food nightmare experience =too bad because it's close to home and somewhat inexpensive. Also, not the cleanest place I've eaten - and the atmosphere was poor. It's stripmall Chinese food so not sure why I had higher expectations?!

This local place is one of those places that needs to stick around. Pick a time, the food is good. I go for the buffet to go at least once a week during lunch and not only is it cheaper than other places with a quick option, it is very tasty. Keep up the good food guys.

Very good price for a family of 5! We each ordered a combo meal. The food was typical American Chinese, but it was freshly made and tasted as such. The stag is very friendly, making adjustments where we needed or wanted (like no onions or different rice). I was pleased at our experience, and will be returning.

The mushroom egg foo young was delicious, and the vegetables in the veggie lo mien were cut and cooked perfectly so that you get veggies in each bite. (I hate it when you get basically a stalk of broccoli, so you're either eating a bite of noodles or nibbling on a broccoli tree.) It wasn't the cheapest take-out: $35 for 2 chicken entrees, 2 vegetarian entrees, and an order of crab rangoon. However, everything was delicious, hot and ready on itme, and the employees were very nice. The teenage white boy working there spent a few minutes answering my questions about different entrees before I left, and he made sure to run to the back to ask the chef for clarification when he needed to. Pros: Delicious. Hot. Quick. Convenient. Excellent service. Interesting items on the menu. Vegetarian and tofu options. Cons: Dark and a little dingy.

My favorite Chinese ever. The fried dumplings are to die for and the sauce with them is the best I've had. Hunan double is my go to meal, but my bf loves the generals chicken. Don't let the exterior fool you, this place is definitely worth going to!

I ordered Cashew Chicken for carry-out from here recently and it was very delicious and loaded with cashews! I was surprised at how much food I received, it was enough for two plentiful meals, very nice. Crab rangoon and egg rolls were tasty. I got the steamed rice, it was cooked perfectly and they give you plenty of it! I will definitely be returning. It looks like such a hole in the wall on the outside, and the inside is also far from elegant, but don't let that deter you because the food is good. Friendly employees as well, both on the phone and in person.

This is one of those little hole-in-the-wall gems. The Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew Chicken are both very tasty and wonderful! The service is also friendly if you decide to dine in. If you are looking for unfancy, but great tasting Chinese food, I highly recommend this place in Papillion.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
