Your generic fancy steakhouse in downtown Omaha, think Morton's or Ruths' Chris. Decent steaks but nothing spectacular. It seems to be a popular place for business meals as many people staying at my hotel headed there for dinner as well. They have free valet which is a plus, since the garage down the street closes at an insanely early hour. It definitely was the least impressive steak dinner I had in Omaha that week.

I was all geared up for a good Omaha steak when we made our reservations... unfortunately we never got to try one! We made reservations for 9 at 8:30 on a Sunday night. We arrived early at 8:10, and since we were early, were told that our table was not ready, and to have a seat in the lobby and they would call us when it was ready. A party of 9 walked in behind us and was seated right away. I thought this was a little strange, but I thought "oh well, we'll be seated soon". While we waited, we observed the hostesses while they were working. One of them was dressed so provocatively that it elicited lewd comments from the men that were there, and one of the others couldn't even walk in her high heels. 8:30 came and went. We were told that our table was almost ready 3 times. One of those times they told us that they were waiting for another table to leave. We had people with us that had not eaten since lunch at noon, and were ready to pass out from hunger. All of us were on edge, and when 9:00 came, we were done. We told the manager that we were leaving, and he told us that our table would be ready in 5 minutes. It miraculously went from 5 minutes to being ready now in a matter of 30 seconds. We left anyway and went to Chili's, which took us immediately. What I was left asking was this - why make a reservation? Obviously the walk in party of 9 was more important to them, or somebody screwed up. If that was the case, own up to it and tell us early. Now i have reservations about trying this restaurant ever again.

Spur of the moment business diner, with a limited amount of time to get to the airport. The server was fantistic. Understood our needs and still provided some of the best service you can find. On par with places like the Capital Grille in KC on the Plaza. The food was fast and the 5th star is justified. Although, be prepared for sticker shock. Typical high end steak house with prices that you would expect to pay in much larger cities. Although, the food and service and atmosphere are arguably worth it. Nice change of pace for service. Sometimes you deserve to experience more than the norm.

I have eaten here 5 or 6 times, all with business partners. The food is always great, very consistent as well. The service is spot on, and the waitresses are beautiful! The main attraction of Sullivans is the atmosphere and the wait staff, when I describe Sullivans I consider it a "classy hooters". Although the staff has changed since the opening(the prime time), the waitresses still look good. I highly recommend any of their wine selection, the filet, and the desserts are amazing as well! Bring your check-book, this is not for the skimpy!

An excellent restaurant. I thought it was interesting that they were big on pushing the seafood which is odd for a visitor like me since when I come to Omaha the last thing I'm thinking of is seafood. I had the 12 oz filet and it was in my list of top 5 steaks. The servers were attentive. I would recommend you come and try this place out.

The memory of Mahogany and my amazing experience there has (I fear) forever marred all other steak-house-type experiences that I will have in the future, including my most recent visit to Sullivan's. So, although part of me wants to give Sullivan's 3 stars, I've given it 4 because I know that, if i weren't comparing it to Mahogany, I wouldn't have any problem giving it 4 stars. I love that this place has valet parking (a rarity in Omaha), especially on a cold night. When we arrived we were seated immediately by a friendly hostess (even though we were a bit early for our reservation), and they had complimentary coat check - also a big plus. They have an extensive wine list, so my boyfriend and I chose a Cabernet, the 2005 Merryvale Starmont, which was DELICOUS. They started us out with complimentary bread, which was completely forgettable - I had one small piece and decided to forgo the rest in favor of my meal. We didn't do an appetizer, but for our meals we ended up getting: - Entree: My boyfriend and I both ordered the Filet Mignon. I ordered mine medium-well and requested that it be butterflied, but it was not. Thankfully, it was perfectly done, so no complaints, but it was just...odd. My boyfriend got his with blue-cheese crumbles, and I ordered the Peppercorn and Gorgonzola Garlic Cheese sauces. Here's where my Mahogany-comparison kicked in - the Peppercorn sauce was FAR superior and Mahogany. The Gorgonzola sauce was pretty good, but neither were as good as I was hoping. However, the steak itself was superb, and definitely contributes to Sullivan's 4-star rating. - Sides: We ordered the asparagus with Hollondaise and the White Cheddar Potatoes Au Gratin. The asaparagus was good, but too cold for my taste. The Au Gratin potatoes were also pretty good, but the Mahogany Potatoes Au Gratin were SERIOUSLY to die for - and these weren't. However, in and of themselves they were fine. - Dessert: We ordered the Warm Chocolate Soufflé with ice cream on top, and it was...pretty good, but definitely not the best soufflé I've ever had. It was a little too done on the top, and the flavor of the actual soufflé was nothing special (although still chocolate and therefore still delicious in my opinion). The waitress recommended the Banana's Foster...I think I'd go with that next time. Overall, the service was pretty darn good; our waitress was not only very nice and attentive, but she seemed personally interested in us, as well. No complaints there whatsoever. My only word of advice for those steak-lovers out there: go here before you go to Mahogany.

Food here is great. The steaks were cooked perfectly! They had great wines and the server was really good about suggesting wines for us. I found it odd that they really push their seafood. I don't know why because their steaks are amazing! Our server was kind of annoying. It felt as if he was lecturing us through the entire meal, but that is the only complaint I really have from the night. They definitely try to sell you on the alcohol. They push it REALLY hard. They almost make you feel bad if you don't order a drink while you look over the wine menu. We would go back to this place, but we still need to try all of the other great steakhouses in Omaha while we are here.

Went 3 nights in a row. You have to meet Misty and Eric at the bar. Annie the manager is fabulolus. Had 2 GREAT OFF THE HOOK RIBEYES the first 2 nights. Be sure to get the burbon peppercrorn cream sauce on the side (not over the top). Side of spinach is recommended. If you can handle it and like Steak Tare Tare GO FOR IT! Had the Rack of lamb the 3rd night. Bad butchering and cooking on the rack~ but the rest of the service is EXCELLENT.. Manager comped the meal and I tipped accordignly.

Stopped in with some work colleagues for a business lunch (not on my tab, so score one free lunch for me!). It has a classic steak house feel, so even for lunch, it has a very classy ambience. As it has a large dining area, it was great for a business lunch as it was not that crowded, so you had some privacy. The service was prompt and attentive. I decided on the Meatball Sandwich and fries. The meatballs were flavorful, and the bun was lightly toasted for a nice crunch. My colleagues had the steak, and the tuna, and both enjoyed theirs as well. While pricey, this is a recommended stop, especially for a business lunch downtown. Classy, quiet, and good food.

Ate here last evening 1st off the steaks are choice, at prime prices went with a group of 5 had 5 different apps, all overpriced for the quality and amount of food served Please stay away from the tuna a joke for I think was 13 dollars the steaks were just chain quality the service was decent at least they made an effort Didn't try desert due to the quality of everything else Nice atmosphere but way overpriced for what you get SKIP IT!!!!!!

Clearly I need to visit each steakhouse in Omaha at least twice before I make a final recommendation. Clearly. For now, we'll call this 4 stars. Pro: I attended a private party. The space for such parties is downstairs, and it is luxurious -- imagine I'm making purring sounds while stroking you with velvet... ok, nevermind, that's a little weird. Omaha doesn't do weird. You start in a private bar area for cocktails before going into the dining area, which is in the center of the glass-walled wine cellar. On each of our tables a platter of chilled seafood was waiting, and it was delicious. There were several staff assigned to our needs (I hate it when you get stuck with one or two staff for a big group, and I'm sure those staff hate it too). They were friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, and followed the flow of the party well. Almost all of the food was excellent. I still dream about that platter. Con: There was really only one con, but it's the cardinal sin for a great steakhouse. Deep breath. I ordered my steak Medium Rare and it came Medium Well. Now, I know, I know, I should have said something and given them a chance to make it right. But I was a guest and my host was so proud of how the event was going. I didn't want to cause awkwardness. And you know, I shouldn't have to navigate those choppy social waters. I should just get the steak I ordered. Overall, I rank the evening as one of the best dinner events I've attended and I would definitely give Sullivan's another chance.

Let's call it a business lunch. Classic looks for a steakhouse. Chairs are comfortable and give it a modern tinge. Very nice lunch menu. Nice variety of items. Had a salad of fresh greens followed by blue cheese meatloaf and Parmesan fries. I have a theory that the richness of a steakhouse's food directly correlates to how dark the wood veneer on the walls is. Sullivan's is dark. Nice salad, fries were nice, shrimp cocktail was excellent. Meatloaf was, oh boy, rich and heavy. Great idea, nicely prepared, but tough to tackle for lunch. Might need to tweak this one a little. Server girls dressed in mini skirts, fishnet tights, and knee high boots, which sounds really trashy, but somehow seemed reasonably elegant. Not sure how that happened, but is incidental to the service which was commendable. I couldn't help but smile at the decor, which must have been the inspiration for Charles Mulligan's Steakhouse, Ron Swanson's favorite restaurant from Parks and Recreation.

If it were less expensive, it would go up a star. But for the price... it's only OK. You could do better. My sweet husband and I went for our one-year wedding anniversary. YAY, VALET PARKING! (One of my giant pet peeves with the city of Omaha is that there is almost no valet parking anywhere. I will seriously pay someone to park my car in the shitshow that is downtown and/or Old Market.) The interior is gorgeous. Deep, earthy tones, lots of dark wood... just really glamorous and nice. The service was also excellent. But the food was just... pretty good. I dunno. I wanted to be blown away and romanced by the food, and I just wasn't. The steak was decent. The salad was pretty alright. The sides were okay. The dessert was good (but it's dessert, so duh). There are meals that I have remembered for years because of their quality, but realistically I ate here a month ago and can barely remember it. It was by no means bad food, but it wasn't special, and the drinks weren't particularly great. I dunno. I'm glad I went, but I wouldn't go back for the price.

So after spending the weekend out at the cabin camping along the river we headed back to Omaha the night before our flight out for date night. We had our furbaby along and Omaha is not dog friendly so we are doing take out. The shower at the Marriott was magic after the dirt and insects from camping the last two days. I left my lovely wife in the shower and headed out into downtown Omaha to find food. I walked one block and found Sullivan's. They had a sign for valet parking (and even though I am walking) I appreciate a place that takes care of customers so I walked in. The hostess was friendly and informative and should get a raise for all the questions I asked her. They have outdoor dining and allow support animals. That gives them extra props all day long. I went into the bar to order take out for the wife and they have professional bartenders who know drinks. They also had a two piece ensemble playing live music and bonus it was Happy Hour (Thursday and Sunday). I got the steak Flatbread and a Martini (both on Happy Hour for $7. They were both good. I ordered the Steak and Lobster to go for the wife. It was a summer deal for $45. Overall very nice place. Good stuff.

I fly in once every couple of months for work and always hit a steak joint. Every prime steakhouse in Omaha has had a great piece of beef. I had the aged NY strip and it was cooked perfect. Great flavor! I ate at the bar and tender was attentive. Certainly would come back.

They changed their ground beef earlier this year. For a steakhouse, you'd like the quality of their beef would hold some significance. I used to brag to everyone that Sullivan's had the best burgers in the Midwest. Not any more.

Should be 5 stars......but......Ate here 2 nights in a row. First night, we ate in the dining room and "Mel" was our server. Including service, everything was flawles. Always the best filet mignon. Succulent and cooked to perfection. The bread, wwine selection and sides were exceptional qnd I topped off the evening with a 20 year old port. Mel was Exceptional! Request her when you come here. Second night I decided to listen to live music and eat at the bar. Mistake. Music was too loud. My filet mignon was raw and I ordered it warm (pink) in the middle. I had to ask 2 times for a fork and they never brought bread with my salad. Compared to my experience the night before there needs to be some attention to detail in the bar. When I asked the male bartender about bread, "he said it inly comes with salad." Ugh....I ordered a salad, filet mignon and 2 ahi appetizers. Not an ideal evening in retrospect.

In town for one evening, hotel just a block away, so over I went. I understand Sullivan's is a national chain but this was my first time visiting one. Upon entering, I was greeted with beautifully tranquil live music from a piano player who was quite talented. It was a great intro to the place. Straight ahead is the main restaurant, hang a left and you're in the bar/lounge/music area. I went there and dined at the bar. Young bartender Scott was on it, a bit overwhelmed as he apparently had to keep both the lounge area AND the main restaurant flowing with drinks. I watched as order after order came in, and Scott hustled to prepare them all. There was no one else seated at the bar, so I stared into my menu for a time until he had a lull in the action and could take my order. Later a girl backed him up (Asian girl, very nice, I just don't recall the name). Things got better for him after that, and she was very professional and relaxed while working. A bit more of a conversationalist, which is always nice when you're seated alone at the bar. Went with filet mignon and shaved brussel sprouts, both of which were very good. And I don't even like brussel sprouts, but took a chance. Glad I did. Now back to the live music...after each rendition I would applaud, which prompted the other diners to applaud. And each time, a lone girl at a table near the pianist would beam and smile at me. I think it was his girl. So nice to see a little fan club follow the band. : ) A few other servers rushed by me, a fourth or fifth (I lost count) brought out my steak. There seemed to be a lot of staff here and all very hurried. I guess the main dining area was hopping. The lounge area was about half full by about 8:30 pm, which was just right. As steak houses go (and I visit many), pricing here is good for the quality you get. I would even say it's a bargain. Service and personality is just a level below what top steak houses offer, but with chain you might allow for that. Overall it was a good experience. I'd go back.

First time here last weekend. I had the dry aged NY strip with 3 bacon wrapped scallops with a Caesar salad. Both of our dishes were nearly flawless with one exception. I was unaware the scallops would come wrapped in bacon. Not only were they wrapped in bacon, they were small, dry; overcooked. Service was nearly flawless as well despite the missed scallop detail. I think the portions justify the higher price. Would have liked to have seen the dinner specials in writing because there were 3 or 4 of them. Would have helped clarify the offerings and taken the memory pressure off the server. The scallops were a big disappointment and a 3 star here is tough to overcome. A little management tweak on these and this might warrant 5 stars in the future.

Dropped by for lunch. Beautiful day to sit on the patio. The experience, however, was a disappointment. Very average food - I had the BLT chicken wrap with fries, my partner had a burger and fries. Entrees were nothing special. Fries were just warm and not well seasoned. Diet Coke was even flat. Server was polite but very slow. Waited what seemed like five minutes after asking for the bill - and then a greeter brought it to us. There was only one other table with guests on the patio. I doubt we'll be back.

Went to Sullivan's a couple months ago for my birthday. Although I am not much of a steak person, the three of us were all very happy with our experience. First off, I thought our experience would be interesting since we were three 20-somethings amongst a bunch of middle-aged men with no other women to be found. I thought it was going to be like Hooters (which is a very far stretch) in which if your table is not the majority male, good luck reaching your server. But, our server was super attentive and good about filling our waters/drinks. We started with appetizers, cheesesteak eggrolls and shanghai calamari. The eggrolls were crispy and flakey, very cheesy and had lots of flavor. The calamari had a sweet chili glaze and were crispy -- both very good! For dinner I had ordered salmon, while the others had a filet mignon and a medallion. The salmon was very good, cooked perfectly with a side of asparagus. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the side of potatoes with some type of garlic sauce was delicious. I got a complimentary birthday cake, which I got cheesecake, yum! If you have a nice occasion or looking to spurge on a good quality steak -- this is your spot.

Cleanliness 4 Service 3 Food 3 Likelihood 3 1-5 (5 Best!) 3.2 Lunch for 5 please! This was my first time at Sullivan's. I have heard such wonderful reviews about it, and how top notch it is. I understand we were a lunch group, and it was not dinner. I chose the shrimp and lobster bisque soup and a cheeseburger, medium. The soup was INCREDIBLE! WOW! The best I have had in THIS city. Great job, great flavor and temperature. My cheeseburger was over cooked, it was brought to me at least MW, closer to well. It was a bit dry. I expected MUCH better quality. Service. It seems when the staff came to the table, they came in three's or at least a pair. Our drinks were not refilled enough, both my iced tea and iced water ran dry at least 2-3 times. The food was good. Services was ok. I would expect a much HIGHER standard for this type of restaurant, and more over with the prices they have established. I was not overly impressed.

Beautiful interiors, excellent food, friendly service!! This is a NICE steakhouse. The dining room looks rich, dark, clean and classy with dim lighting. Definitely the type of place that would surely impress a date! I had the filet mignon and it was tender, like cutting through butta! Everyone at my table was ooohh-ing and ahhhh-ing the whole time. Once the bananas foster bread pudding came out I witnessed actual moaning. It was the best bread pudding I've ever had!! It had a nice crunch on the top and perfectly moist throughout... Not over the top with banana flavor... Just right! You have to try it if you go!!!

My wife and I celebrated our first Valentine's Day as a married couple at Sullivan's. We had previously been to the restaurant many times before, and we consider it our favorite restaurant in the entire city. We consistently recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal, great service, and great drinks. Unfortunately, this will no longer be the case. We had dinner "reservations" at 8pm, which weren't reservations at all because we didn't even get to sit down until 8:30pm. The hostess took us to a table that was 2 ft away from the stairs where she gently pulled out a FOLDING CHAIR for me to sit in. Now I'm not super picky about tables, but if I'm going to pay $200 for a meal and drinks I expect to sit in something nicer than a folding chair. In hindsight, at least they were nice enough to put linens over it to hide the fact that you were sitting in the same seats used in the high school lunchroom cafeteria. The table that they sat us at was right next to the stairs, as I mentioned previously. My chair was within 2 ft of the top stair, and whenever a waitress would walk by they would have to turn their body just to squeeze by me. Nothing romantic about that. When I brought this up with our server, she was nice enough to let us switch to a table against the wall (still had the folding chairs though). At this point I would like to comment on the service. All of the servers were nice and accommodating, but it was the same service I would expect to get at an Applebee's or Perkins. It was not top tier in the slightest. They took no time to explain the menu or options available. It was simply "here are your menus" and then 10 minutes later "Are you ready to order?" I understand its Valentine's Day and you are trying to turn and burn as many tables as possible...but you should still be able to provide service better than that for my $200 meal. We both asked for medium rare steaks. My wife's was perfect, mine was cooked to medium well. My wife was half way done with her steak before I could get the servers attention to send it back. I had ate most of my lobster tail by that point (which was fantastic BTW) so I just had her put the steak on a box. She was not apologetic, but was very accommodating. Next came our desert. We had originally ordered Cheesecake and Ice Cream. We were both so full from the appetizer and main course that we decided to box up the desert. When we woke up the next morning and decided that desert for breakfast was the best idea ever, we opened the box to find one lone piece of cheesecake. Now, I understand you can't box up ice cream. But, really they should have offered us something else. It's these details that Sullivan's used to get right that made them the best. Instead, she gave us one desert and must have just thought "well, that's what you get for ordering Ice Cream" instead of "Oh I should ask them if they want a different desert". Finally, we received our bill. For some reason, we were charged for 3 of the V-Day meals instead of two. I pointed it out to the server, who took the bill back. She came back and said "They said the third charge was for the lobster you ordered." The lobster upcharge was only $15, and was clearly on the bill already. So, I had to send the bill back a SECOND time. This time, it came back with the correct amount. At no point during our meal did a manager come to speak with us (you would think that an overcooked steak and bill correction would have prompted a manager visit but it didn't. But who knows, maybe they had just received more folding chairs and the management staff was busy putting linens over them.) I am going to pump the breaks on Sullivan's for a bit. They will no longer be the first restaurant I recommend (my wife and I just went to Mohogany Steakhouse for our anniversary and it was FANTASTIC) and I will DEFINITELY never go there for any kind of special occasion. Maybe I'll go back on days when it's about providing a world class meal instead of shoving as many people into a restaurant as you can.

I went to Sullivan's with my parents and husband and, overall, we were impressed. I feel like they have a great price-for-flavor ratio which means that, yes, it's pricy per person but the quality and flavor make it worthwhile. The high points include: the spicy calamari appetizer, the incredible shrimp and lobster bisque, a GREAT Moscow Mule, and creme brûlée. The good: the filet mignon was done wonderfully and I enjoyed their selection of accompanying sauces. The bad: My husband's New York strip came already cut, meaning it became dry and was cut too thinly for his liking. He's a big boy, he can cut his own steak. That was disappointing. Also, although the service was fine, the server's remarks sounded very scripted, robotic, and unnatural: "which one of our delicious desserts will you be having tonight?" If this is part of their training, it's very strange. It'd be better to allow servers to be their own, but professional, selves. She sounded like she hated her lines...or at least she delivered them like she did.

This review is mainly for the bar/lounge area. It is a decent spot to relax with a few drinks and the happy hour menu is pretty generous and seems to be all hours of most days. The clientele seem to be business white collar types that go there after a day working in the nearby high rise offices, likely charging their company's expense accounts for their slightly overpriced steaks. Speaking of steaks, there are no disappointments in that area here. Finally, they often have live jazz bands playing, albeit a little overwhelmingly loud but a nice vibe to a standard spot.

I was in town to visit family and wanted a good nebraska steak before I headed back to SF. Wow was I utterly disappointed and amazed that the chef and staff have such disrespect for customers. I was served a very rare steak twice - and I hate to send food back. Ordered medium. If it was close to medium I wouldn't have sent it back. The third steak was now completely overdone. The service was beyond lackluster and pretty much ignored what was going on. No I can't believe this I'm so sorry...but rather a mundane we are so sorry. No let us get you a glass of wine, no can we bring you something to munch on, nothing. Def won't be going back there and I will be writing the corporate office. Oh and also had to listen to the bartenders talk about their friend who called them drunk and puking. Yeah for a nice steakhouse this behavior is inappropriate.

Tried it again and even less impressed. 22oz bone in ribeye was full of fat and had no flavor except char, filet was just ok after salt was added, creamed corn was fair & baked potato was dry and overcooked. Actually decided to take some of this mediocre food home and they left out the butter, sour cream & bacon for the potato! Thanks for the dry overcooked potato Sullivan's. Save yourself and go to 801.

This is not what you expect from an Omaha Steakhouse. Whoever wrote the other reviews has no idea what a good steak is. "My wife make better steaks". I just wasted over $80 on their so called "cowboy steak". Do yourself a favor and don't come here. Steak was way over done, BURNT, it did not taste like a grass fed cow, and so small! I had a real cowboy steak in Texas. This is some walmart crap.

Let me just say; Tim and Paul made our experience awesome here. My girl friend and I were taking a road trip to california and really wanted to stop by and try their steaks but we were arriving near closing time. We know, very risky and inconsiderate most might say but we did call ahead and ask if we can order and pay first then dine in if possible. They immediately accommodated us and were so warm and a hospitable. Everything was ready and they even stopped by to chit chat with us about our trip. We wanted to get out of their hair and help them get home early but they made us feel welcome and did not rush us at all. The treatment stood out more than anything and we would definitely come back. If we have the chance! Ps. Get the Mac n cheese. Don't hesitate.

Nice atmosphere. The food is okay, though the only thing about this restaurant is that it's over priced. You can easily spend over 80 dollars but you would still find cheaper restaurants with better quality in town.

Great wait staff and food was good. I had the tasting menu, go for the Shanghai Calamari and lobster bisque, they were the best. Steak was ok, but I think my expectations were too high as I've never been to Omaha before.

I'm familiar with the Sullivans steakhouse chain, and while the quality of the food is good, the cost has far exceeded the quality. While the atmosphere is nice, the servers seemed more concerned with selling you overpriced mediocre wine, appetizers and after dinner drinks.they are obviously compensated somehow by the amount of extra garbage they piled on the bill.I started with the market price Stone crab claws. The first claw is $10, and each subsequent one is eight dollars.I opted for four, knowing that these four average size claws would be costing me $34.then opted for the special ,which was a braised short rib with the root vegetables and horseradish mashed potatoes.imagine my surprise when out came about a 3 ounce piece of short rib a top a couple tablespoons of mashed potatoes, with a sprinkling of what must've been root vegetables on top. I wondered why the server had asked me if I wanted sides with this! This was $36. Add a martini and tip and we're over $100 at this point. This is Omaha for chrissake ,not Manhattan! Give me a break! If you're prepared to spend $200 a person for an average steakhouse meal that this is the place for you! I'm not aware of any unlimited business expense accounts that allow for this kind of lavish spending nowadays either. Get real!

Calamari was wonderful and plentiful. Ordered the three course meal deal. My filet mignonette was remarkable, cooked to temperature ordered perfectly. Service was perfection. Attentive and timely but not hovering. Splendid decor, quiet enough to converse. Others enjoyed the lobster bisque, shaved Brussels sprouts and locally brewed craft beer! Well worth a visit!

Came here to try some steak. The restaurant is split into a bar area and a dining area. I decided to sit at the bar. It's a little bit on the cozy side. There were 2 guys playing live music there. Interesting to watch for sure, though it sounded more like elevator music. One guy was playing 2 keyboards. Kinda cool. The steaks here come with a complimentary iceberg lettuce wedge or Caesar salad. Take the iceberg lettuce wedge. This thing is freaking AWESOME and quite unique. Literally a 1/4 head, covered with blue cheese and all these other goodies. Special mention. As for the steak itself, it was done quite nicely. The fat was mostly only on the outer ring and there wasn't too much of it. Nice and juicy, though I must say that the one at Spencer's nearby is better. But this one does also cost a few bucks less, and is decent for sure. I also ordered a side of mushrooms. The portion was very generous, but it was a bit too salty for my liking. Staff were friendly and professional, though I wish they would've come by a bit more.

I've got some high standards for a steak, especially here in Omaha. Sullivan's was ok but I've honestly had a better cut at Longhorn's or Outback. It was late at night (9:30), but we were hungry and they are open till 11. The hostess said we could get the full menu in the bar or the restaurant, so we chose to sit at the bars patio area and enjoy the weather. Our stiletto-heeled waitress in fishnets brought us the bar menu and appeared miffed when we requested the full ones. We excitedly focused on the all-inclusive meals, which give you an appetizer, soup or salad, and steak for $40. My Philly egg rolls were delectable, as were the garlic meatballs. The lobster bisque was almost curry flavored, but my companion argued it was more butternut squash like. Differences aside, it didn't meet either of our standards and we hardly touched our bowls. Finally we tucked into the steak. He had a filet with bourbon glaze, I had the strip with garlic blue cheese topping. As I stated up front, ive had much better steaks in my life. It wasn't awful by any means, but it fell short of the steak experiences which can make you glow with bliss over our evolutionary adaptation of flesh-tearing teeth, or even swear you will continue to maw on beef during a mad-cow crisis (ask me about my 2 years living in London). The mashed potatoes were blah, nearly powdered to be honest. Not sure how they achieved that as I assume such a fancy joint wouldn't serve powdered potatoes, but flavor and creaminess were lacking. Even my highly desired garlic blue cheese sauce was sad. Must have used a mild blue cheese as it had little flavor and didn't add much to the meal. Not a winner, but perhaps that is our fault for ordering from the package deal menu. Maybe they save the bad cuts of beef and potato flakes for the customers daring to save a buck? Our water and ice teas were filled attentively, and our service was pleasant enough.

This place is one of my favorite steak restaurants in the US. It is a bit pricy, but the service is fantastic and the food matches. The cuts of meat are always large and cooked to perfection. Lots of sides, you can't walk away from the garlic mashed potatoes (even when you need to). Importantly, they shake one very good Martini. If you are in Omaha, don't miss this one. The servers alone make it worth while!

Well what can I say, this place was fabulous. Here on business for a few days and staying down the street. Originally recommended by the cab driver and hotel. I ended up here all three nights I was here and was never disappointed. Hung out in the bar which had a great menu. Seemed there were not many places open late that served good food. So kept gravitating back. I normally don't order steaks out because I am picky, but took the risk the first night and had excellently seasoned, prepared steak that night and each night after. They have some great choices on the bar menu, but serve the full menu as well. The bar steak is a GREAT value! NY strip with spinach and mushrooms. Brussel sprouts with bacon and onion are outstanding! Price fix menu delicious and a great value. Wed night they have music and lots of $6 drink and food specials in the bar. Super friendly and helpful bar staff! You can't go wrong here. So go!

Disappointing, expected much more... Went for their fillet and lobster. We each ordered it and you would have thought they came from two different restaurants - no quality control in the kitchen. My wife's tail was inedible. Mine was ok. Her steak tasted like it was charred on a dirty grill, was overcooked, and full of grisle. Mine was twice as thick and obviously medium rare. We both ordered medium well. Green beans were floating in vegetable oil. The Brussel sprouts were the only redeeming food item. The knife they provided to cut the bread was dull and we laughed as we watched everyone else struggle with their dull knifes. We had a mediocre bananas foster that had hard banana in it. The absent manager finally came by after flirting all evening with the waitresses. When I calmly voiced by displeasure he was speechless and just walked away...no kidding. The incompetent management received two separate emails from me and even corporate had no comment. This place is in trouble. Thankfully we have Omaha owned steak houses that do care. I'll never again go to Sullivans and warn others to try anyplace else. I am not overly picky, but once you have a bad experience, it's hard to see anything good. Our waitress did a more than adequate job and seemed embarrassed by how management didn't handle things appropriately. A local Applebees had a better steak at a fraction of the cost.

I've visited Sullivan's a number of times in Omaha. I always am along in on business so I can't speak to the restaurant portion but I love their bar. They carry the same great menu plus at times some live music. The Filet is my typical choice along with the Knockout cocktail.

I ordered the 12 ounce Filet Mignon. The Gorgonzola garlic sauce went very well with the steak - you must try it. It was fantastic. As sides, we ordered Mac and cheese and grilled Brussel sprouts - both of which were well prepared. The Moscow mule was also great. For dessert, we ordered a double espresso and key lime pie - both were up to snuff. I recommend sitting at the front bar since they have a live pianist busting out some tunes on the piano. Our waitress was very busy, so she forgot to bring out bread and butter but this foul up doesn't matter too much to me. The place could've gotten five stars if the wait staff was better looking and if they provided mints post dinner.

I just had my first Sullivan's experience, and it was AWESOME! My husband and I went here for our first wedding anniversary and they treated us like royalty. They gave us a free dessert, we chose the cheesecake.....amazing! They took us to the library for a quick picture that they later printed off and framed for us! I thought that was such a great idea, now we will always have that to remember our first anniversary. Oh yeah, and they even sent us a card the next week thanking us for coming in! For an appetizer we had the Crispy Shanghai Calamari, which was probably our favorite thing that we had all night. It is zesty and full flavored, my only complaint is that there wasn't more of it!to go around! For an entree, my husband go the filet and I got the chicken breast, they were both fabulous. They serve their dinners a la carte so we shared two sides; white cheddar au gratin potatoes and the creamed spinach. There is nothing I would have changed about this meal and I will probably order the same exact thing next time we go. I definitely suggest going here for special occasions, they make them even more special. Do know that it is going to cost you a pretty penny though, in my opinion it was well worth it!

The service at Sullivan's was A+ from the hostess to the management. Our waitress, Jessica, was one of the most knowledgeable I've ever had, she knew it all and was fun and polite. The quality of food gets 3 stars from me, I liked it, it satisfied me but didn't impress me too much. The service like I said was 5 stars....so I'll give this place 4. The restaurant looks very nice too, if you have a pretty/handsome date take them here and order fancy drinks. Done.

Love this place! Great happy hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and live jazz. The girls behind the bar are so friendly and fun. They have a long home ribeye to die for. Ask for Jessi she is our favorite.

I thought i will have a better experience. The stuff are very welcoming , good selection menu, portion are good but taste was ok. My fillet was cooked as requested yo perfection buy taste was average , did not challenge my taste buds. Ambiance and decor are ok nothing fancy or special. We end up paying 250$ for three persons. Would hesitate to come back again.

I will start by saying I have had a 4-5 star experience at Sullivan's in the past. However my husband I went here last weekend and we have vowed to never go back. I truly believe a server can make or break your experience at any restaurant. In our case it was an absolute disaster. We both ordered off of the pre-fix menu. Our food did take a very long time to come out, and when it did they had brought our soup and salad out before the appetizer. Our server said, I figured you were hungry so you can go ahead and start with these since your appetizers are not ready. Well about 30 seconds after she left our appetizers were delivered. The woman who brought the appetizers looked confused but dropped them off anyway. So we had two courses sitting in front of us. Then my filet came out very well, well done. I had ordered medium rare. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly. So they started another one for me and 15 minutes later it came back out. My husband was almost done with his meal at this point. My steak was cooked very well this time however my side was completely COLD. Not luke warm or room temp, but cold. They did offer to bring me out another side, however at this point we were just ready for this experience to end. By the end of it all they did remove my entree from the ticket. Which was the least they could do. All in all, Sullivan's is very pricey. And with that price comes the expectation that the food and service will reflect that premium. In this case it fell way short in both areas. There are so many great restaurants in Omaha, especially steakhouses. We will pass on going back here.

All good. Even during a "dead" night where nobody is out, it was still fun. Great waitresses in the bar, too!

Prior to my reservation last night I thought this review would go in an entirely different direction. I wanted to enjoy my experience at Sullivan's for a couple reasons. Partly because it was New Year's and partly because it's necessary to justify spending $200 for dinner with a drink and sometimes great food, excellent service and an enjoyable time can do that for a person. Regrettably that wasn't the case. Upon arrival, we found the hostess stand disorganized and almost frantic. Looking back, its curious because our 9:00 reservation meant dinner service was winding down. Anyway, we gave our name and were told they were ready for us. Then we were told to wait over there, then asked to move over here, and then to wait a few moments. The waiting (which didn't last long) was ok, but the odd approach from the very nice (but very young) hostesses and the confusion wasn't. When seated, our water glasses were filled, then our bread arrived and so did a hostess who explained it would be a minute but she'd bring the wine list and get our drinks while we waited. We got the list but she never took our order. Eventually the waiter stopped over to apologize for the wait (a reoccurring theme) and to ask us to wait some more. We did. The waiter came back and we ordered drinks. He brought the drinks and then we ordered our appetizer and salad course (fixed price menu). The waiter was extremely nice and I could tell he enjoyed his job but I wonder whether he was prepared for a busy night with multiple seatings. It's fair to say he hadn't found, or had lost, his groove. It felt odd. Looking around the place I saw a lot of waiting and overheard our neighbors complaining about slow service. Also worth pointing out is the unkept appearance of the manager and some of the server staff which is unacceptable considering the caliber of restaurant. The appetizer course was good. My shrimp cocktail was standard and my husband's cheesesteak eggs rolls were interesting. The salad, however, was wet and underdressed (probably because of the water) and disappointing. I have high expectations for a Caesar salad in a steakhouse. My husband enjoyed the wedge. We ordered dinner and dessert and the arrival of my steak signaled the end of any semblance of an enjoyable dinner. The steaks were dropped off by a disinterested waitress. She mumbled a question about needing anything and as we processed her question and assessed our situation, she started to turn. My voice prompted to her to turn back at which point I had to ask, at Sullivan's Steakhouse, for her to bring both my husband and I a KNIFE. A Knife. She left and returned with two steak knives which she sat on the table without a single word to either of us. The steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious but the sides were not. My mac and cheese wasn't heated through. More oddness: it was hot in the middle and room temp around the edges. My husbands mash was well seasoned but not hot nor mashed. More like hardly broken up hunks of potatoes with horseradish (and too much of it) and butter. Simply, more disappointment. I recall the waiter briefly stopping to ask if all was well but we didn't see him again for a very long time. My husband finished his steak. I did not. I waited for someone to come. Growing increasingly (and justifiably) impatient, my husband stacked his plates where they just sat, along with my cold steak and our sides. My husband reported the time at 10:20, well after we were waiting. At 10:35 we were still sitting there with our unfinished food, empty drinks and dirty plates. Thank goodness we enjoy each other's company. The waiter eventually ran up, apologizing for all of it, and asked if he could box up my food. Uh, yes. Yes you can. Of note, while we were waiting, we noticed the unkept manger visiting our neighbor apologizing for running out of key lime pie. We also overheard our waiter (who incidentally was much more attentive to the table of 6 he also had) explain something similar to them. When he delivered my leftovers, he reluctantly broke the news to my husband that they'd also ran out of cheesecake which really was the last and final straw. We couldn't get out fast enough. We should have complained at several points and I regret we didn't speak up. Fast summary: nice and friendly (with only a few exceptions like whomever dropped off my steak), but slow and disorganized staff. Good steak, bad sides, poor planning on the dessert front which meant we paid for a course that we weren't able to enjoy (they offered a chocolate cake as a substitute but still. My husband wanted the cheesecake). Based on our experience at Sullivan's, I'd recommended Mahogany's for better food and service at a similar price any day of the week.

With a few hours to kill before an evening flight back to New York, I decided to treat myself to another steak. Only in Omaha for one night, I had of course had steak the night before at another establishment, but when in Rome (or should that be Omaha). Choosing to dine in the restaurant side, I was served by Megan who must be complimented on making my lunch one to remember: first she recommended the 'cowboy' cut, a cut with the bone left in. Secondly, she recommended the Sullivan's Private Reserve Cabernet. Declining appetizer, the steak and wine were superb, accompanied by a horseradish mash and vegetables. The steak, medium rare, was divine and beat out the one I had the night before. Thanks to Megan, I enjoyed an awesome lunch and a great sleep home to New York on the plane.

I'm a sucker for nice steakhouses, so we've eaten at nice steakhouses all across the country. This is among the best I've been to. The food was great, but about average for this level of steakhouse. But where Sullivan's really separated themselves and earned the 5th star, is in their service. It's probably the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. We went for our anniversary and they made sure to take our picture and give it to us in a card (free of charge, I've seen places charge for the picture before), and gave us a free dessert. A few days later, we got a thank you card in the mail with a personal note from our server. They really went above any service I've received, even at more expensive places. I was highly impressed.

08/10/13 Just went to Sullivan's Steakhouse in Omaha. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The staff was grate. My wife had a sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. We both had the French Onion Soup, which was one of the finest I've had. I read a review on this site that said it had too much cheese. That is like say a car is too fast or a woman is to beautiful, it can't happen. If you go there and you like French soup, you have to order it. I had the special 24 oz aged rib eye. The flavor was and texture was good. The only problem was how it was cooked. I like my steaks burnt on the outside and rare on the inside. Now I have only found a few restaurants that have cooked them the way I like and they are: the Drover in Omaha, Longhorn Steak House on 72nd & Dodge in Omaha and Donovan's Steak and Chop House in San Diego. Since I am picky, I wouldn't hold this against them. I also hah their Steakhouse Skillet Mushrooms. I like mushrooms and this was some of the best I have had. On a side note, it was my birthday and they didn't embarrass me by singing happy birthday, instead my waitress gave me a picture of me that she took along with a signed card. This place knows what CLASS means. I will probably go there again, as I said in the beginning , it was an enjoyable experience. PS: it would have been a five star except for the way they cooked my steak.

I was somewhat disappointed in our most recent experience at Sullivan's, which is unfortunate because other visits have been good - a company Christmas party in the basement, sitting in the bar for happy hour drinks and food, or enjoying the live jazz. This visit just didn't cut it. Sunday night a group of us descended on Sullivan's to try the four-course Omaha Restaurant Week tasting menu. I settled on the Oysters Rockefellar, Asparagus Bisque, 6 ounce Filet Mignon and Chocolate Mousse for dessert. The steak was, by far, the star of the evening... taking the top spot only barely to the killer Negroni (even though our server wasn't totally familiar with the drink, the bartender definitely was). From there I'd have to say the green beans and mashed potatoes tied for the bronze and the rest of the meal finished behind those in a nondescript pack that won't really linger in my memory. Specifically, for a dinner that costs $100+ for two with tax and tip, I usually want to walk away totally satisfied (and who wouldn't?) But for this trip, the devil was in the details. Slightly too much butter here, not enough seasoning there, unripe fruit, etc. While many of the items were okay, there was something preventing them from breaking through into good, great or amazing territory. Sullivan's is a good spot for a drink or happy hour food in the bar, but won't be on my list for repeat dining.

Very disappointed. I ordered the small filet, cooked medium. It came out well done. Portions of the steak were burned. It's tough to believe no one realized it was so over cooked. They also did a poor job on the asparagus. The chop salad was very good, as was the cheesecake. However, you go to a steakhouse for steak and they did a poor job with that. I also noticed the guy at the table next to me sent his steak back for being over cooked.

A lot of tough reviews for Sullivan's. Wow. But I guess with the prices they charge, diners are going to be extra scrutinizing. If I had this meal at a smaller, non-corporate restaurant and it cost half as much, it would be a 5-star meal. Hands down. Why only 4 stars? Hard to say. Service was terrific. Atmosphere was great. Food, for me, was spot on: properly cooked, seasoned, etc. I found no flaws. So the only thing keeping me from 5 stars was simply the wow factor. A 12 oz. filet, crab cakes, wedge salad, creamed spinach and white cheddar au gratin potatoes, although delicious, just aren't the type of food that makes you feel like you've enjoyed flavors you've never had before...and may never have again. It's a steakhouse. And although I love it, I know, for the most part, I could make the side dishes myself at home. Could I sear the steak that well with my electric oven? No way. Could I make that wedge salad? Easily. Crabcakes? That's a bit tougher. Probably not...(the sauce was *awesome*). So, for me, that's how it goes when your food is priced at this level. Extra scrutiny and a need for some real wow factor. That being said, I LOVED my meal. And if I was making 6 figures per year....I'd easily stop in when I was in the mood for classic, high-end steakhouse fare.

Was in town for a short trip to Omaha and like many other visitors wanted to try out some beef. The night we visited it was around -2 degrees out side, so glad they had a valet so we didn't have to walk too far or get into a cold car after dinner. Service here was a little off. The waiter spent an inordinate time talking about the cocktails and his favorite drink and then when we he finally stopped talking he took one order for a cocktail but was useless in explaining the wine list and kind of just awkwardly walked away. When he came back he took the wine order but then didn't explain the dinner menu, and again walked off without taking the time to answer questions. Very strange considering we were maybe one of two tables in his service section. For an appetizer we ordered the Shanghai calamari, which actually turned out to be more of a Thai calamari it was pretty tasty. But again, the service was a little odd, as they pulled away our appetizer and bread plates a little prematurely. For soup tried the shrimp and lobster bisque which was really good, but filling. Someone else at the table tried the wedge salad, which was huge and looked really good. Main course for the night was a 22oz bone in ribeye which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Also tried the creamed spinach and asparagus which were both pretty standard. Unfortunately because the soup was so filling, I couldn't finish it all. Normally don't take food back to the hotel when I was on travel, but in this case, because I had a fridge and becuase the steak was so good, I thought about taking it back for a early morning snack. Unfortunately the odd service kicked in again and my plate was swiftly removed without offering to pack it to go. Overall, great steak, but not really any better than say a Morton's or Ruth's Chris. With so many choices in the area, I would probably try another steakhouse next time around.

The food here is amazing! Had the filet which was cooked perfectly and the Gorgonzola butter topped it nicely. The French onion soup was by far the best I have had and I try it everywhere. My only negatives are the meatball appetizer was raw and then when sent back and returned they were over cooked. The other is that, I get the cute waitresses in short black dresses but some were a bit too much.

We were visiting Omaha on a weekend trip and heard from a friend that they were doing a special for 2 people. We thought it sounded like a good deal and decided to try it out. The atmosphere is very nice and all of the waitresses wear the same outfits. My husband ordered a Manhattan and boy was it strong. Since it was a deal for 2, we ordered the following (review behind): 1 Asparagus Bisque - delicious 1 Caesar Salad - yep, a salad, nothing special 2 Filets - rather good 1 Creamed Corn - ok 1 Broccoli - ok 1 Cheesecake - good cheesecake 1 Bread Pudding - no clue...they ran out! They ran out of the dessert my husband ordered which was disappointing. He ended up getting mouse which there was not anything exciting about it. For this meal, at this price, it was good. I would not come back and spend full price.

Went for my wife's birthday. This was our second visit and we decided the first (very enjoyable) visit was not an anomaly. We were seated immediately and given menus. The wait staff was very genuine and courteous, which was very relaxing. Our first visit we had a prix fixe meal giving us a wide variety of foods to choose from. It was perfect for a first visit, giving us the opportunity to eat small portions of many different types of food and seeing how strong their menu was across the board. This time we both ordered normal entrees as their Prix Fixe menu did not have as much variety. I got lamb and my wife got a steak, both excellently seasoned and cooked. I don't order meals at this price point often, so I do not have much to compare it to, but this one was excellent to every detail. The bread brought out at the beginning was fresh baked and hot to the touch, the butter that came with it was so creamy it could only be freshly churned in the back. The meals and sides were presented aesthetically, and all tasted as good as it looked. For a special occasion like a birthday, $100 is well worth the atmosphere and food. We were not dressed to the nines, but we felt very welcome in a place that could very easily have made us uncomfortable if we were treated differently. Ultimately, a very enjoyable birthday meal for my wife earned me some brownie points!

I want to love Sullivan's, however, at this price range the service needs addressing. The food is very good and I love the atmosphere. There needs to be a change in management. The service is some of the worst I've ever had. My last meal there cost me $450. I paid the bill without complaining so I would be so upset that I would never return. I frequent the location in Palm Springs, CA and it is dramatically better.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for special occasions and we've never been disappointed. The service has always been amazing - even with large groups, they just join right in with the joking. Had lunch today - my salmon was cooked perfectly! My husband's Ahi tuna and ravioli courses were also delicious! Highly recommend!

I don't eat steak a lot, but hey... I'm in Omaha. Started off with some apps - crab dip, bruschetta, and calamari. The calamari was the best of the three. Light, crispy, azn sweet and spicy sauce! Definitely a must if you go there. (I'd pass on the bruschetta - too much onion) I then decided to be a pig and order a 16oz ribeye. It came with a wedge or caesar salad and for an extra $3, you can pick another soup or salad of your choice. I like mg steak medium rare and it came out just right. Didn't need any seasonings at all, although my fellow eaters all got Oscar style with the lump crab meat. Linda regretted the fact I didn't get it, but there's no way I would've eaten it because we ordered a bunch of sides. Mashed potatoes - get it! Creamy, yummy, buttery, and slightly spicy from the horseradish. They also have brussel sprouts which our waitress told us was "zapped with bacon". Good job on the upswell, I gotta say bc 5 ppl at my table ordered it haha. Steak house mushrooms were also delicious, done classically, meaning sautéed in butter. The last thing I'll mention is the wine that was recommended - a Justin 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. Perfect with steak, medium bodied and smooth. $55 but worth the price (not like I was paying anyways).

About 6 visits and 5 stars every time. Perfect steak, perfect horseradish mashed potato, perfect crab cake, perfect bread, perfect drinks, great jazz music, every ball was a 3 ball "swish", nothing but net. (I wish this location would help itself out with those poorly prepared petite filets in reviews below, I'm sure my fellow reviewers are at least 50% accurate and I'm amazed they had those steaks done wrong...)

Sullivan's has great food, a great atmosphere, and great service. The price tag is high, but worth it on a special occasion. I've never eaten at the bar, but the atmosphere in there seems really nice with live music and a much more reasonable price tag.

This is an expensive place. A la carte. However, there is a prix fix menu for the summer at $35 per person. The steaks are great, as they should be. I had a filet and it was cooked perfectly at med-rare. The staff is SUPER friendly. The selection is fine and the wine list is admirable. I think a lot of the experience of eating here is in the service. If you want to be taken care of, this is your kind of place.

Sullivan's in Omaha is a 4.43 Yelp experience which gets rounded up to a whopping 5 Yelps specifically because of the phenomenal service we had by our waitress, Angela C. So I arrived in to the "heartland" of America...no I didn't buy a Chevrolet, I've arrived in Omaha, Nebraska. Talk about the middle of friggin' nowhere and by far, the most boring city any of my last 5 corporate gigs have sent me to, bar none. I also checked in to my hotel (the largest building in Omaha, the Doubletree) and was evacuated within 17 minutes due to 4 tornadoes b-lining STRAIGHT for my hotel. Umm, yeah, WELCOME TO OMAHA NEBRASKA folks. That's the way to properly welcome this New Yorker. So you're in Omaha HUH? What's there to do in Omaha except eat steak? Everyone on the entire planet told me to eat steak, and overall it was good, but I can get just as good, if not better, steak in Manhattan. Was still damn good though... Food Stuffs: + 12 oz Filet - done rare at 120 degrees exactly, this is how I order it everywhere, it was succulent, fork tender slicing through tested and nothing shy of phenomenal ++ I also had the "Cabernet Goat Cheese" butter on top. YES. DO IT. + Steakhouse Mushrooms - were soft, garnished with parsley and were good. Were regular button mushrooms, no fancy varietals + Creamed Spinach - was creamy, fattening, thick and gooey. The way it should be done. + Creamy Mashed Potatoes - this was a bit too creamy for my liking but still very good. It was great when you take a piece of your filet and dip it in the mashed potatoes and then devour it...OMG. Service: + This is why Sullivan's goes from 4 Yelps to 5 Yelps. Angela C., our waitress, was absolutely amazing. Her extremely efficient yet friendly, on-point, and stellar service rivals the service I get in 2 star Michelin rated restaurants in Manhattan. YOU MUST ask for her as your waitress if you're there... go eat beef, cuz it's what's for dinner, sit with Angela (as your waitress) and you will surely be satisfied. Had a private event here and it was great! Love the dark, rich private rooms w/walls of wine behind glass walls. Staff was super nice and knew what they were doing! Very professional and great to work with. Food was yummy! had the escargot n sirloin. Escargot isn't soaked in butter n garlic like I usually like, but it wasnt' bad. Steak was yummy. Would definitely come back!

Excellent and attentive staff. I ordered the filet mignon oscar style and the asparagus was cooked perfectly and the crab meat was light and succulent. The house martini was fabulous and, overall, could not have been a more perfect experience. The ambience was shot when our section played "80s and 90s alternative hits" instead of the chill jazz they had in the other sections...otherwise, very lovely!

Service was spectacular, five stars! Unfortunately the food did not live up to the price. Let me explain. I abandoned my family at the College World Series because I was starving and sick of the food carts down there. I just started walking around and I smelled some hickory smoking out in front of Sullivan's, that's what drew me in. Turns out they don't open until 5:00 but even though it was 4:30 they welcomed me in. Heidi took care of me and she was great, she definitely has experience. I started off with a nice warm loaf of bread that was the "difficult to slice" variety. I didn't want to tear into it like a caveman but that's really what was required. It was good tasting bread with a lot of chew, but are you familiar with that saying "the best thing since sliced bread"? I understand that saying much better now because dismantling the loaf was no easy task. I ordered french onion soup and it was really good, except for one problem that some will be surprised to hear as a complaint: there was too much cheese! They must free-hand slice their gruyere to order because this was not a mere slice on top, but more like a cheese pancake. It was too much to get that brown bubbly crust that I desired. And gruyere is just too stringy and dense to have in abundance like that; once you get a big bite of it, it can be difficult to chew/swallow. The soup under the covers was flavorful and delicious, thankfully, and I was glad I ordered it because it hit the spot. Caesar salad was good, which essentially means they did not screw it up. I would say there's a 50% chance they made the dressing. She cracked the pepper for me, not sure how that is relevant but I like when they do that. My choice of fresh flesh was the 22oz bone-in ribeye, ordered medium. It was just ever-so slightly overcooked, but not enough to send it back. The real problem I had with this steak was it's lack of flavor. I tasted fresh cracked black pepper but there was no salt. None. I can't believe a $43 steak could be under seasoned, but it was! I guess I should have paid the extra $5 for one of the extravagant toppings/sauces? Nobody tried to sell me on them, but I do recall seeing them on the menu. I rarely use steak sauce but this ribeye was in dire need of flavor enhancement - bummer. The baked potato looked good and had a nice crust on it until this random girl walked up and slopped on the biggest mound of butter she could possibly scoop. And this is sort of like my cheese complaint - I absolutely love butter but this was way over the top! She said that I can take off the part I don't want. Yeah... good idea, thanks for reminding me that I am capable of operating a spoon, but the real problem here is that I don't want the crusty potato skin sitting in a pool of butter that will inevitably melt on this hot plate. Of course in a short amount of time my $10 potato was completely saturated. Not sure why she used so much butter but it was just crazy. I have to say that the bacon bits they put on there were remarkably delicious, very smoky as if it was recently homemade. Some green onion or chives would have been a nice touch. I did not have room for dessert. I drank beer so I can't comment on the cocktails either but she looked like she knew what she was doing. I truly loved being able to walk in off the street and get excellent service, but when I end up dropping roughly $100 on a meal it had better be more memorable than this. I could have made a better steak at home for under $20, believe me. I certainly don't feel compelled to return any time soon.

We were in Omaha on Memorial Day and thought we HAD to have steak. After reading the reviews on Yelp we decided to give Sullivan's a try. We were thrilled. Everything about our meal was terrific--from the opening cocktail through the appetizers and dinner to the dessert. The dessert was a complimentary sample of three different choices since our party included both a current and a retired soldier. Our waiter was so good and very knowledgeable about all the different cuts and sauces. Since everything was great I'm not going to list each individual item, with one exception--the wedge salad. Other reviewers recommended this and they understated how good it is. My only complaint is that I couldn't eat it all--because I knew I wouldn't have room for the steak! I'll come back just for the salad--even though everything we had warrants a return trip.

Pricey, but how often do you get to eat steak in Omaha. The atmosphere is very dark, the staff are friendly, and the chef will come to your table to see how you like your food. They do try to up-sell you, and really push the seafood, but I can't really fault them for trying to make a buck, and they are by no means pushy.

Came here on a business trip. Service was disappointing and similar to a Red Lobster. Young, unkept wait staff. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter seemed really unpolished for a good steak house with prices like these. Food - not great. We ordered the ribeye. Verdict: Overcooked. We also ordered the Seabass "Hong Kong Style." I've had this at several restaurants: Usually a filet of Seabass with some kind of sautéed greens over a bed of steamed, white rice with an Asian type sauce. Well their dish has no rice. And you can't order any either as its not in the menu. Somehow Seabass Hong Kong Style isn't the same with a baked potato. Point being: don't even offer it if you can't get the most basic part of the dish right. How are you a steak house and can't get the temperature right? And at over $100 for two - there should be no excuses. Too many parts of this restaurant just didn't work.

Loved coming here for Thursday night happy hours! $5-6 meals and cocktails, yum. I was a huge fan of their burger and fries with blue cheese. This place seems to attract more of an older/maturer crowd. The live Jazz music is a little loud and obnoxious at times but the relatively cheap food and drinks made up for it. Probably one of the better happy hour places in the big O.

Sullivan's is good steakhouse. The atmosphere is very cool. The service has been great. The food is quite good. I think all in all it's a good place to eat but I just wouldn't say it quite gets up to a five like some other steakhouses I've been to.

While in Nebraska it is customary to desire steak. I had not been in this state since 1998 so I wanted to go back to a steakhouse and enjoy what Omaha is kind of known for. The menu is robust and had lots of options to choose from. I was a bit disappointed a restaurant like this did not have beers on tap but decided to get bottled beer anyway. Not trying to be a snob about this but many people appreciate the draft beer style instead of bottles. I decided to order the 12oz filet with a luscious gorganzola sauce lathered on top of this. It was ordered to be cooked medium and we discussed the details of what this look like. It was done perfectly and tasted amazing. If you are seeking steak this place is good. I also ordered the mac and cheese as a side and was told this was amazing. This was good but not what I was expecting. I have been sampling different mac and cheese recipes for about 2 years now and I have had much better. Overall the experience was very good and the service was spot on but definitely some room for improvement. Next time in Omaha I will try a different place as I was given a large list of great places. I will say the steak portion of the dinner stacks up well among the nation's best.

Sullivan's is a "chain" restaurant that doesn't quite feel like one. I went for the Pink Menu- Three courses for $39.95 in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation all October. Figured it would be dining for a good cause. Like most steak places (think Morton's, etc.) most of the menu is a la carte, and they try to up-sell you on EVERYTHING. They definitely cater to business people on an expense account, and are not shy about using pretty waitstaff who like to flirt. That being said, the service IS fantastic, and my steak came out cooked to perfection. The mushroom bisque was also amazing, thick enough to eat with a fork. Wine list by the glass was basic, but had a few reasonable selections. I would have loved to see a cheese plate on the menu, but alas, no.

I went to Sullivan's for restaurant week and I got the Oysters Rockafeller, Caesar salad, NY Strip steak, and bananas foster bread pudding. The salad was bomb. Freshly made (or at least homemade) because you could taste the anchovies. Yum. The Oysters were good but seemed like they had been premade. The steak was only ok. It wasn't even one of the better steaks I've ever had...but it was still good. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything extraordinary for a $29.99 prix fixe price. The bananas foster dessert was awesome though. I don't know if it's a normal menu item but I def recommend it. Heck, I liked it and I don't even usually like desserts. Service was good and friendly. The server was marginal on wine knowledge but I'd suspect they have a sommelier there anyway. I gave it a 3 but it's more like a 3.5

"nothing ventured, nothing gained"...and nothing was gained here. 1. an 8:30 reservation resulted in a 9:15 seating...with little apologies but a lot of kidding around and telling me how busy they were. We sat in the bar and they knew where we were b/c at 9 pm, I went to the hostess to tell them that we were sitting in the bar and "she knows where I'm sitting". Not even a suggestion of doing something to make up for the 45 minute delay...a beer would have been a nice gesture! 2. We were shown the wine list but it seemed like we were given an ad of their "featured" wine selling for 50% off the normal price! 3. The steak, creamed corn and caesar salad were underwhelming for the price we paid. I had asked for a lightly dressed caesar and it was floating in dressing. The steak was cooked unevenly but it did taste good. 4. The good... spinach salad was excellent as was the the sea bass...yes, a steakhouse prepared a fantastic fish dish! 5. Service was good...very attentive. 6. Good bar with good ambience I won't go back. I would try something else, I will try something else.

OMG! What a treat!! Ate at the bar had a WONDERFUL bartender/sever named Megan. She helped me with the menu.....first up lobster/shrimp bisque soup....OUTSTANDING........next....Caesar Salad.....PERFECT....now for the main.....Bone-in-Rib-Eye with three cheese mac-n-cheese.....HOMERUN!!! Megan pared a martini with each course and nailed each one! First was a Dirty Martini with freshly stuffed blue cheese olives, next course was a Lemon Drop-tini, and the steak was matched with a Makers Mark Manhattan....perfect perfect perfect. For my friends coming up for the NCAA College World Series.....Sullivan's is THEE place to go for a GREAT meal and GREAT female scenery!! Kudos to the hiring staff at Sullivan's....best scene to date!

My boyfriend and I recently went to Sullivan's Steakhouse for our Anniversay. We knew it was a "classy" place in town and a great joint for special occations, so we were a bit intimidated to try it out. Our preconceived notions were that it would be too formal, stuffy, and full of scantilly-clad, pushy waitresses. I am so thankful we tried it ourselves, and proved that stereotype wrong. We were early, so we waited on the patio for our table to be ready. A young lady named Zarah was very friendly, promt, and attentive. Plus they had a full bar, and a fabulous martini list. Then came dinner, my boyfriend told them it was our Anniversay so everyone in the entire restaurant seemed to know, and stopped by to see how our dinner was going. We did the summer $69 special, which was affordable and had a broader selections of choices than most promotions. I chose the salmon, and my boyfriend had the filet. Both were cooked well and had great flavor. The asparagus bisque was too die for, and everything else was above average as well. I don't remember our server's name, but she did a great job as well. Our dinner was topped of with a complimentary dessert, a card signed by the staff, and a personal visit from the General Manager of the place. Overall, we were surprised with how good the food was (we did have high expectations), impressed with the atmosphere, and can't wait to take our families there.

We walked in without a reservation, and managed to snag a table right off the bat. They had a special event going that night, and the staff was dressed up. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. The lighting is enough to see everyone in the place. For starters, we ordered salads - my wife got the standard salad, and I went for the Cesar, since I have had a hard time finding a good one in Omaha. The server brought out two Cesar's. I noted the discrepancy and the server promptly corrected the issue. The bread that is brought out for starters is really good. Wow. Hot, fresh, the butter melted into it. Gad, we had to stop eating it or we would have a hard time with dinner. For the entrees, my wife had the Garlic Shrimp, which she really enjoyed, while I went with the fillet, medium rare. The steak came cooked as was requested - no well done orders here (and had one arrived, I would have sent it back (as we all should if something goes wrong with our orders). The wine list had a good selection - I went with a 14 Hands Cabernet, which I had tried before. The vintage year was 2 years older than the wine list had indicated, but 2009 was still a darn good year. The deserts came with the special meal deal, and were both very good. I tried their cheesecake, and it didn't disappoint. My wife couldn't finish her bread pudding, but it was good as well. Dress nicely for this place.

I've been here twice now...I travel a lot for biz and have eaten at a lot of up scale places. Both times at was ok but not outstanding. I expect more given the reputation and the price. Staff is pushy for sure..a la carte adds up quick. Good steaks and the tuna steak was so-so.

Went there for the 5th or 6th time since they opened. Every time has been solid, some dishes more exceptional than others. Our waitress was fantastic - attentive but not overly so and very friendly. Their crab cakes are delicious - heavy on crab, light on filer and very fresh tasting. My husbands steak (8 oz filet) was so tender it practically cut itself and their sauces (in particular the truffle red pepper butter) just send their steaks over the top. I got the shrimp francese which needed a little salt but otherwise very good. General comments from our visits: wedge salad - very good but could be less heavy on the blue cheese asparagus - well done but hollandaise needs a little seasoning horseradish mashed potatoes - creamy, tasty goodness. green beans - undercooked creamed spinach - love this, reminds me of a really good spinach dip skillet steak mushrooms - could dive in a vat of these and be quite happy The knockout is really tasty and their bartneder fixes a mean vodka tonic. A little pricey but so far every visit has been worth it!

What a GREAT dining experience! James was one of the best servers I have EVER had. The staff get at least 5 stars! GREAT food, nice atmosphere and I def recommend to go here. Only thing I would do differently is I got the red pepper truffle butter, sounded unique and yummy....it. Just didn't do much for my steak, which by it self rocked! Also, the bar area is awesome to hang in, and I do believe I had one of the BEST dirty martinis I have EVER had!! .. I am tempted to give 5 stars....... Too stingy tho!! Go here if you are in town!!

Appetizers, sides, and dessert were fantastic...which is to be expected of an expensive steakhouse. The steak, however, is the reason for the two star review. I tried the three medallions; three smaller, filet style cuts, with three different toppings. All three were vastly over salted, to the point that I even had to send them back because I couldn't eat them (and I am NOT a picky eater). I thought maybe the toppings had tainted the purity of my cuts, so I tried my friend's filet that had no additional toppings or sauce, and though it was bearable, I also found it so salty that it masked the flavor of what should have been some great Omaha steak. If you sell yourself as a steakhouse (and a pricey one, for Omaha), and I feel that I could grill a much better steak on my own, then it's hard to go above two stars. I'll admit that I have only been once, so maybe it was an off night, but it was off enough that I will not be returning, despite living one block away.

I usually came here on Friday nights with my class for dinner and some kind of business presentation. Since we had a big group, our menu was limited to salmon, filet mignon, chicken, and a vegetarian option (either noodles, or portabello mushrooms). The appetizer was always a quarter-head of lettuce topped with blue cheese dressing, blue cheese, and diced tomato. It was 7PM when we got our appetizers, and I was hungry, so I generally ate the whole thing. As far as taste goes, it was a salad, nothing spectacular. But the whole thing that turned me off was having to cut the lettuce (maybe it's a thing that people do at fancy restaurants?) Next is the main course. I've had the chance to order the filet mignon (I usually got it medium to medium-well) and it was cooked almost perfect every time. The flavor was very good, but the texture of the meat left something to be desired. I have also tasted the salmon, which I felt was a much better choice, as far as taste and texture. Lastly, out of curiosity, I ordered the vegetarian option which was stacked portabellos layered with spinach, surrounded by quartered tomatoes and asparagus. The flavor was very good (I actually preferred it over the meat options) but there was times when I would bite into the mushroom and get huge taste of salt in my mouth. Unpleasant to say the least. Each main course came with a mustard-potato mash, and a side of vegetables usually carrots and asparagus. It was pretty good. Dessert was generally either cheesecake, a creme brulè, or a soufflè, which was the highlight of the whole meal. Couldn't really go wrong with any of the above desserts. They were rich, but not too sweet. Overall, the portions were kind of lacking, but the service was good. I may have to come one day to try the rest of their menu and post another review, but from my experience so far, I'm only giving 3 stars.

OK... so steak is from Omaha, right? That's why they call it Omaha steak. So this was the last night we were in Omaha and I had to eat at a steak house here, just to say that I ate a steak in Omaha. Service was OK, not great, but it could've been way better considering the fact that we were the only ones in the restaurant. I got the ribeye... wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad, but I guess my expectations were really high. The steak was a bit too salty for my liking. The sides were pretty alright. But what really stole the show was the iceberg wedge salad! So simple, yet sooo good! I've been trying to find a restaurant here that can match what I had here. I'm not sure what it was, maybe it was the Midwestern lettuce or something. SO yeah... when you go to a steak house and the best thing you eat there is the salad... well, you get the point.

Wow these reviewers are harsh... haha... I guess my overall experience is a 3 star but that was partially our fault so I can't give them 3. 4 because they tried their best and my Pork Skank... I mean Shank was to die for! Brian and I ordered it and it was huge and served atop horseradish mashed potatoes. I was hesitant at first since of course I love steak and I am in Omaha but since I was with a bunch of Californians I totally forgot where I was and ordered the pork. It literally fell off the bone and had a sublte tomato based sauce that it was cooked hours in. AMAZING! Horseradish potatos were killer too. I took my leftovers home. I was busy enjoying my glass of Rombauer Chardonnay and Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay and of course my cocktail their signature... Knockout was it? Oh my! I don't remember the name... but I think it had pineapple infused vodka and a slight orange flavor... Wow Shiho get it together! We were in a super hurry to get out. We were the first ones to get seated in the whole restauarant for dinner since our reservations were at 5pm. We thought we had to be somewhere at 7pm but it turns our the Med. School graduate aka Dr. Nini or Dr. Pooty had to be there an hour earlier... giving us only an hour for our fine dining experience. Great decor and feel by the way... the restaurant that is ... classy, dim light etc... She got to where she needed to be in time and the rest of us took our time and enjoyed our desert which by the way was unbeleivable... I don't like desert or sweets in general but I will try them to teach my palate something new... I think she said it was the brownie... it came with the prix fixe meals ($30 bang for your buck) that half the table ordered (of course I ordered something random, always do) and it was so light and delcious it almost tasted like a souffle of some sort... I swear they add beated eggwhites in there giving it a light airy feel. Impressed. The cute hostesses and servers are all dressed in black, mostly black mini dresses and some wore crazy black knit stocking (fishnets even) but they pulled off the classy look somehow... the valet parkers were adorable and helped us with our outdoor photo shoot. The manager came out to check on us, proabably because he knew we were in a hurry and we were really trying to behave and keep our cool (although it may not have looked like it, haha). Great expereince overall.

Thursday Happy Hour is one of greatest in town. They have the BEST food, great martini's and wine, service is by far the most attentive in town and the live music is a good touch. How can you go wrong with cute women in fishnets and strong drinks?! Sullivan's is a place where I can go and feel completely comfortable just having a drink or splurging on a full-course meal. I love their patio in the summer time, they are really good about keeping the humidor stocked full of cigars and the drinks never go empty at Sullivan's. The basement has a really cool wine cellar with private rooms. Would be a great place for a special event or company meeting. Hal, the GM, has introduced himself many times and truly shows an effort to greet every table and make sure they are having a good experience.

Just re-iterating my rating after some time. Almost a year later, same amazingly good food, steak cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, sides and desserts fantastic. This time my server was Sarah, and I have to say again that Sullivan's has a top notch level of service. A great dining experience.

I am from Minneapolis and have been taking my parents and their friends to this Restaurant since they opened. My Father recently passed so I took my Mother for dinner on Sunday, October 6th. I have always compared this place to Manny's in Minneapolis, upscale, good service, good food......well things have changed. The Chef has changed and it's obvious, the server I had, evidently has little to no experience. I initally had to send back my lobster bisque, it was luke warm, when my lobster and baked potato came out it too was luke warm, however did not see our waitress again until we were done, when it took three people to clean our table. during the dinner she did not come over one time, nor did the manager to see how our meal was. Oh and did I mention desert, neither did she until "after" she brought the bill to the table....I guess it was an after thought. I know this place is a chain however they seemed, for a while, to defy the whole chain food image but things have changed here. I could have gone to McLobster and gotten the same quality lobster, small no flavor, I miss the old chef and the quality of the seafood. Well the good thing out of it all, my Mother enjoyed her steak...so I give you all "two stars".

Sullivan's is a very swanky steakhouse in downtown Omaha. Upon arrival our party was greeted by a staff that's very warm and freindly. The hostess by the way is very attractive and does her job very well to boot. But the real reason I came here was the steak. Being in Omaha for a business trip, I was constantly daydreaming of the steak I'd be eating for dinner. Being that Omaha is known for great steaks, my expectations were very high. I ordered the 22 oz. "cowboy" style bone-in ribeye, cooked medium rare. I must say that the steak was exceptionally good. It may even be one of the top 5 steaks I've ever had. It was juicy, and cooked just right. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because while in Omaha my search continues for the best steak I've ever had in my life, and I'll award that place 5 stars. I'm in town for two more nights which means two more steak dinners. Perhaps nirvana awaits.

Wow.... 1, 2, and 3 star reviews for Sullivan's? Really? After reading some of the harsher reviews I think I know why... People were ordering fish, pork, rice, chicken, etc. Sullivan's is in the heart of the USA people! The oceans are halfway across the country! There is only one thing you should order at Sullivan's Steakhouse and that's the steak. I ordered the 22 oz. bone-in aged 28 days ribeye with gorgonzola garlic butter. The steak came with nothing except for a plate. If you want a potato, it'll cost you eight bucks or something stupid like that. But who the hell needs a baked potato when you have a 22 oz. steak on your plate?!? Yeah it's expensive, but man was it worth it... The fact that the restaurant had a nice cigar lounge, a piano player, and hot waitresses in skimpy outfits didn't hurt either!

This is a happy hour review only: Plus side - patio (which fills up early!), Down side - the drinks are not so discounted! That's all I have until I come back for dinner - which might not be too soon, since this place isn't what I'd typically look for, atmosphere wise, for dinner.

This was an all right bar/ lounge experience, marred by extremely high prices for drinks given the pseudo-Deco interior and two-piece jazz attemptists. I could tell what they were going for, and it works in Omaha, but it wouldn't export to a larger stage.

I gave only a star because they have Chilean Seabass on the menu and the service was *really* pushy. Anyhow, I at there becasue I was with a colleague and we couldn't really leave... Anyhow, the food I did have was, I have to say, really good. The hot bread was good but unremarkable, the iceberg wedge salad with blue cheese was (surprisingly) AMAZING, the sides of spinach and green beans were delicious, and my entree was wonderful. The waitress was big into trying to make our simple dinner a big boozy meal, and that was annoying... but the meal we did have was really, really good, and the old school setting was very pleasant. Gotta give thumbs down on the pushy service and the Chilean Seabass on the menu though... For more info on sustainable seafood see: mbayaq.org/cr/seafoodwat…

Can't speak to the full-on restaurant experience, but the happy hour is notable. Thursday and Sunday nights there is a $5 menu in the bar that also includes a selection of martinis and wine. Decent variety of food choices including a big cheeseburger and fries (or chips) and a variety of other meat and non-meat items. There's also live jazz on Thursday nights in the bar, which is always a plus for me. Will try a steak here eventually, perhaps, but for now I'm sticking with 801 Chophouse for those rare occasions.

I wish i could give it a negative star unfortunately that is not an option. First, let me start off by saying that i am not a food critic so please reach your own conclusions by actually going here at least once. I believe that experience is the best teacher. Last night my girlfriend and I got home from Sullivan's and the first thing we did was go straight to the medicine cabinet and look for something to cure this upset stomach. When we first got there we encountered a rude hostess who asked me to give them my full name so that they can seat us. I informed her that we did not have a reservation but she stated that she still needed my name anyway (I thought she needed my name so that she could call me if a table opened up but it turns out that more than half the restaurant was empty). She then asked if we wanted a booth or a table to which i replied either. As she walked us to the booth we were assigned i noticed that the lighting was very dark and gloomy in addition to the carpet being extremely worn out, dirty and faded. The booth we were assigned was adjacent to the open kitchen where i had the luxury of smelling everything the rest of the diners were having. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy the smell of good food, but i do not enjoy a white cloud of smoke directly behind my head that leaves a potent smell of shrimp on my clothing. I'm pretty certain the rest of you would like to exit a restaurant with the same cologne or perfume you entered with. Not with a stench of fried food and grilled steak. We decided on having the Cheesesteak egg rolls as an appetizer before we received our entrees. The first egg roll was tasty and led me to believe that the rest of my experience there was going to be pleasant until i bit the second one. After i bit the second egg roll i am pretty certain that i ate what appeared to be a piece of plastic or wrapping the egg roll was in. I can almost guarantee that this egg roll was not made fresh and had to have been frozen. Furthermore, it must have been deep fried in its own wrapping. About 5 minutes after we reviewed the menus we asked two of the servers that walked past us to explain an item that we were interested in. One of them did not speak any english and was only able to say "Let me get waiter". Before our waiter ( i believe his name was Andy) returned to our table we asked another young man if he could help us and his reply was " I do not know what is going on here i just got back from college sorry". I find it amazing that in a restaurant with about 15 customers you have the same amount of servers that do not know what is going on and are only interested in running to your table to fill your glass with tap water. I have never seen so many people running back and forth accomplishing nothing in my entire life. It was comical to say the least. We both decided on having the Filet Mignon with Broccoli and garlic in addition to some sort of potato wedges in white cheese. Before we received our entrees we were given Caesar salads which tasted horrible. Even a blind person could tell that the leaves were discolored and have been sitting out for a while. After they came back for the salads, they brought out an extremely stale loaf of cold bread with some sort of margarine - -which leads me to my next point. In addition to the bread being horrible, I further had the pleasure of seeing a guest visitor fly towards us and land directly on this horrible piece of bread. My girlfriend did not notice it until i pointed it out and asked me if it crawled out from under there to which i replied no. While waiting for the steaks i mentioned to my gf how horrible this place turned out to be after reading such great reviews. I made a point to mention how dirty and disgusting this place was and swiped my finger across the ledge of the booth we were sitting on and picked up about half an inch of dirt on my finger. The hostess that was across the room saw me doing this and gave me a disappointed look as if she knew exactly what i was thinking. As i wiped my finger on the black cloth they gave us the steaks had arrived. I ordered a medium well steak which turned out to be well done and charred on both sides and my gf ordered a well done steak which was similar to mine. The broccoli was extremely hard and it looked as if no garlic had been put in them, only salt. The potatoes were probably the only good thing we received as well as a mango margarita we initially ordered. In addition to my steak being charred it was drenched in onions. I scraped off at least a pound of onions before i got to the meat. I attempted to swallow the piece of meat i cut and it felt as if i was swallowing sand paper. I had to cut the top of the steak off in order to try and eat at least some of it. My gf experienced the same situation with her food. When we received the bill we were shocked to see that they charged us 128.33 for such a horrible meal and experience.
