This was my first visit to a place like this and we all had a great time! I'm not artistic by any stretch of the imagination, but with them walking me through I managed to paint a decent picture. :) When we came in we were told the bar was "cash only". We weren't prepared and were scrounging for enough cash between the 6 of us to buy a couple of bottles. We found out towards the end of the night that they do indeed accept credit cards so apparently the girl at the door is confused as to the definition of "cash". The wine selection was disappointing anyway but still... The painting experience itself was enjoyable. Our instructor gave step by step demonstrations and gave us plenty of time. We didn't feel crowded at all so perhaps they remedied the seating issue the other reviewer experienced.

Worst "sip and paint" experience ever! I thought it would be fun to treat my daughter and her friend to a fun night since they had been working so hard on their term projects. I saw an advertisement for this location of pinots palette and having had a great experience at one in Fort Collins, CO, I was excited to go! What was well: The wine...I ended up needing it and the painting for that evening was cute What went wrong: Oh goodness, where do I begin? First off, they jam WAY too many people in that studio. There is hardly room for your water cup let alone a glass of wine. I witnessed 2 ladies spill their wine glasses accidentally because they simply had no room. The girl next to me kept inadvertently knocking my canvas because she couldn't get to the side of her canvas without doing so. Not a comfortable set up. Also, and possibly still because there were SO many people in the room, our chairs ended up about 5 feet from the front door. Wouldn't have been an issue except that it was a night that dipped into single digits and the smokers in the room who kept leaving to light up and then returning ensured we were absolutely freezing the whole time. I asked the staff if we could possibly change spots and she said there wasn't anywhere else we could move to. We ended up having to paint with our jackets on... not comfortable, not fun. Another issue with SO many painters was the pace of the instructions. Half the room would sit for 15-20 min at a time playing on their phones or staring into space because the other half was focused on talking and not progressing. The staff made no attempt to try to keep to a schedule and even said that they would stay open 30 min past closing for us to finish up. But I couldn't stay after closing due to other commitments. It was also a weeknight and was getting late. I heard several moms upset because they had to stay if they wanted to finish their painting, but had to get their kids to bed at home. If the class is until 9, please stick to the schedule! At the very least, give the rest of the painting instructions and allow the slower folks to stay to finish, but also allow others to finish on time as well. We tried to have a good time still. Our paintings turned out nice even though we had to guess the last 5 or so steps on our own to be able to leave on time, but overall it was SERIOUSLY dissapointing. This studio cares more about jamming painters in their room to maximize profits than making sure their painters have fun, are comfortable, and enjoy the experience enough to want to return. Even at the slightly discounted $29 rate we paid, it wasn't even close to worth it. Find another "sip and paint" studio in the area and avoid this one like the plague!!!! Next time, I think we will try the Twisted Vine in Papillion.
