PF Chang's should get a clue -- their prices are ridiculous. My lunch selection was $12.35 -- yes, you read that correctly. At dinner it's $17+! I've been a fan since the first restaurant opened in Scottsdale, AZ...many years. Chang's has always been pretty darn good food and great ambience. The trouble is, they've literally priced themselves out of the market...mostly anywhere. My friends in KC, MO also mentioned price as being a detriment. There are so many great local places to eat great food at affordable prices, that PF Chang's has dropped off our radar. I can eat for half as much elsewhere and have a wonderful dining experience, too. I do take out from them, their lunch prices hold 'til 4pm. But even at that price I do it infrequently these days. Makes me sad, but I feel strongly about VALUE for what I spend. Wish their sister restaurant, Pei Wei would come to Omaha!!! If you EVER get a chance to visit a Pei Wei around the country -- DO. Food is wonderful, prepared in front of you in the line and affordable!!!

Enjoyed lunch here 3/24/15. It was not very busy at 12:30 pm when I arrived. I typically come every month or so, and usually during lunch. Every time I eat here I always order hot and sour soup, as Chang's makes the best I've ever tasted. Doing some web searching, most people think that chicken is used in this soup, whereas pork is the usual protein ingredient (along with tofu). In any case, whatever it is that makes it so tasty, keep it up -- it's delicious. I ordered a lunch portion of Spicy Chicken, which was good, the chicken seemed less coated then typical. Service was good, but I forgot to mention to the waitress not to put my order in until I was finished with my soup; so it arrived very soon after the soup and wasn't as hot when I got to it. One thing I would suggest that PF Chang's look into is offering appetizers in smaller sizes. My wife is not a fan of Chang's, so I usually dine alone here, and although I love their lettuce wraps as well as the crab wontons, I usually skip them because of the size. The same is true for spring rolls and egg rolls, you have to order at least two, which is silly. Lunch ought to have an option for a single egg roll, or a 1/2 portion of lettuce wraps. Something new since I last ate here is the availability of sushi, which I will sample the next time.

I had heard so many rave reviews about PF Chang's that I finally decided to go with my husband for a nice dinner out! We went in for an early dinner around 4) and the place was still slightly busy. However we did not get drinks right away. After we were seated by the hostess it took awhile for the waitress to come to our table with menus even. The thing that made me want to leave was the prices. It was good but not that good. It was no where near the quality for the prices they charge and the portions they give you. We had a 2 for $50 meal special and walked away disappointed and wondering what all the hype is about. The resturaunt itself is clean and nice. Staff is nice but service was slow. Food was good but expensive ! Overall disappointing! Especially sine we were looking forward to it so much !! I guess we will stick to other Chinese resturaunts! Because there are much better with better bang for your buck.

My friend and I love to eat there! The Crab Ragoons are the best!

Okay, first Mr. Chang. Seating for 200 is not a bistro. I tried a sampling of the appetizers. Being a somewhat upscale place I was expecting them to have some twists on general chinese fare. They didn't really. Eggrolls were pretty basic, I've had better. I tried crab rangoon, sometimes places jazz it up a little with chives or something. Nope. Their twist is putting a little lump of crab meat instead of crab with cream cheese. It was kind of bland. The sauce they sent with it was good though. The thing that ruined it for me was they ruined my favorite thing. Egg Drop Soup. It was kind of like chicken noodle soup without the noodles, there was one big lump of egg in the soup, that was so thick and gluey I thought at first it was a dumpling. Egg drop soup should have whisps off egg through it. This was just bad. Maybe the entrees are better, I wouldn't go back to find out though.

P.F. Chang's in Omaha is located right next door to the Cheesecake Factory at Westroads Mall, which should tell you right away how I feel about it. I have a serious problem paying this much for Chinese food, but most of what I have had here is edible, if not exciting. In thinking about this review, I realized how many times I've eaten here, and I am really embarrassed. I think part of the reason is that I have a number of vegetarian friends, and it seems like this is one place in town we can go for a meal where they don't have to order the same thing every time to avoid eating an animal. My frequent visits here should be further evidence that you probably shouldn't ever take my reviews seriously.

For over a decade I have been trying to avoid eating @ P F Changs. Finally gave in when the customer insisted we go. This is truly the pinnacle of American butchering insult to Chinese cuisine. Everything is over-salted with boat-loads of grease and soy sauce mixed into a starchy mess. The Kung Pao chicken looks like it's soy-mummified mickey D's chicken nuggets re-fried in pork lard or something. The Lo-Mein has nothing to do with chinese noodles but some strange spagetti drowned in grease. *Best* of all I got a lecture from the well-intentioned waitress on how to mix yellow mustard with Soy sauce so I could drench it over my white rice!!! If you really hate yourself and want a quick heart attack, go to PF Changs~! Some of you might say "What? This guy gives a rave review of Top Cafe but disses the almighty PF Changs?" Absolutely. The likes of Top Cafe serves rough authentic "Cha Chan Teng" food, PF Chang offers sub-par Sino American fare which is easily bested by Panda Express. No doubt the decor is great and service efficient but thats where it ends

Wow.....heard people in Lincoln wish they had a P.F. Chang's. Why? It is way over priced. I could of went to my favorite Chinese place in Hastings, and had better food. Hunan's in Hastings is so much better. The bathroom floors were also sticky at P.F. Chang's in Omaha. Infact the bathroom seemed dirty. I went to the casino in council bluff's after chang's. The bathroom's at the casion's were spotless compared to chang's. Never again will I waste my time or money going to P.F. Chang's.

Obviously none of you have had "bad Chinese takeout." Try as I might, I cannot find any good Chinese takeout places in Omaha. Yes, PF Chang's is expensive, but I would rather have reliably good and edible Chinese food from Chang's than anything from the places I have tried previously. Who makes Mongolian Beef in a red sauce? Ick! And I love PF Chang's Lo Mein Shrimp (of course you have to order extra shrimp, but I always have to order extra shrimp).

The food and service deserve five stars. I like eating at this place; I tried more than one dish on the menu and they are all delicious. I recommend the following: Dynamite Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Work-Charred Beef, and Garlic Noodles. These are my favourites. The reason for the four stars is the price. The prices are way higher than they should be!! Expect to pay around 25-30$ per person!!

Great food, pretty environment. A little pricey, but that is my only negative.

I went back to try a few more items. I liked the Korean style wings although it was a bit sweet. There was another dish with chicken and potatoes ( don't remember the same :( ) which was good and so was the hot and sour soup. I did not like the chili garlic noodles. It was very bad (no taste, flavor) and something I feel should be avoided here.

Been here 3 times, ate in, picked up (waited at location), and curbside. Awesome each time. The to go guy, Adam, is awesome. Can be pricy, but worth it! Quality is fantastic. Great location, clean, great atmosphere, and staff is great. Highly recommend.

I know P.F. Chang's is a chain but I love it anyway. We eat here at least every other month and enjoy it every time. The dining area is spacious and we rarely have to wait long for a table. We love their "P.F. Changs for Two," which consists of an appetizer to share, two soups, two entrees, and two mini dessert wontons for $40. It is a ton of food, a good value, and gives you a chance to try several items. We usually start off with their chicken lettuce wraps. This is one of my husband's favorite dishes ever. We've also tried their tofu lettuce wraps and they are also very good, although I prefer the chicken. The Sichuan-Style Asparagus is also fantastic! I usually get their egg drop soup and really enjoy it. For my entree, I typically order the Shrimp with Candied Walnuts or, if we are doing the "P.F. Changs for Two," I will order the Honey Chicken. I've also tried their Orange Chicken (love!) and their Mongolian Beef (very good). Their mini desserts are great (these used to be offered on the P.F. Changs for Two), but the dessert wontons are pretty lame and not very good. They have a full bar but none of their drink options usually appeal to me, so I typically stick to water when we eat here. The decorations are a little corny, but the service and the food has always been consistently good (probably one of the few benefits of a franchise). They do offer take-out, but the portions seem to be smaller than if you dine-in. For the price it doesn't seem to be worth it, so we stick to dining in.

Good food...staff was iffy. If you're familiar with their fast food chain, Pei Wei...it tastes the exact same ( however much pricier here!). No complaints on the food, I've always loved their sweet and sour chicken and their wantons are fabulous! I gave one less start here because of the hostesses. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night, told we had a 20 minutes wait and were given a buzzer. After 30 minutes and realizing 2 other couples that arrived after us were seated, we spoke with the hostesses. We were told "Oh, we tried to buzz you, but your buzzer was broken" We had been seated waiting directly in front of the hostesses on a bench, and we were shocked they made no effort to find out if we were the couple they were waiting on.

I came here because of the reviews but the food here was horrible. All I ordered was the chicken lettuce wrap and it came out cold. After sending it back the second was bad too. I guess the main cook was off.

Love PF Chang's. Upscale Chinese food, that is a creative and tasty twist on classic Chinese food. They have a lot of great options like Beef, Chicken, Shrimp, and my personal favorite Scallops. They are always accommodating when I ask to leave out an ingredient, or to add something like carrots to the dish. The fried banana desert is fantastic and they have a decent drink selection as well. My only complaint is they tend to be very busy and it can be a little slow to get in and get your order. I ordinarily am not a fan of chain restaurants if I can avoid them, but this place is one of the exceptions. They keep their quality and standards high and it pays off in flavor and ambiance. They also make some decent drinks at the bar and have a good wine selection. Located next to Westroads Mall, and across from the Cheesecake Factory and Joes Crabshack, there are lots of good places to choose from but this place is worth a try.

PF Changs will always be near And dear to my heart because it was the site of the first date I had with my future husband. I have eaten here many times over the years and one of their strengths I think is consistency. I have sampled many different dishes and can't think of one I didn't like. On a recent visit I noticed that they have revamped their menu and included such items as sushi and street tacos. They also added some interesting craft cocktails. I am not sure how I feel about them venturing into the sushi world, but I still think they have lots of delicious options to choose from. On my most recent visit I ordered the pad Thai. It was good, not the best pad Thai I have ever had but like I said I still enjoy dining at PF Changs.

I have only ever been here one other time, and I was to young to remember it. My husband suggested we go there before a concert in Omaha, and I'm glad we did. We got there about 5:15ish on a Saturday. They got us seated right away and I'm glad we got there when we did, because it filled up quickly. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We ordered the Crab Wontons as an appetizer and I wasn't overly impressed. They did come out looking very appealing and they were good, the crab taste was just a little strong for my liking. My husband and I both ordered the Lo Mein combo. I was pleasantly surprised when the waited said you get beef, chicken, and shrimp instead of having to pick two. You also can order it with just one meat. It was a good price and came out hot and delicious! We also got rice with it at no extra charge. It did take a little longer then you expect for Chinese food, so the manager came over apologized and took care of our appetizer for us. I was impressed with that, and appreciated it. We really didn't wait that long, but I very much appreciated it none the less. I have honestly been avoiding it for awhile because I always thought it was pricier. It cost us under $30 for the both of us to eat here. That is with the appetizer taken care of though, and both of us getting waters. The place itself is classy and has a very nice vibe about it. The candles on the tables helped with that. Overall, very impressed and I look forward to going back and trying more things.

Generally a great fan of PF Changs. But this location always delays my pick up order even if I show up 5 minutes after my promised pick up time.

Today was my first experience at this restaurant. I give it four stars because the service was good but the food was so-so. Reading the descriptions in the menu, I would've thought that there would've been more flavor. I ordered the crab fried rice. It was okay. But nothing to write home about. However, my wife did get the Mongolian beef. That was actually pretty good. Overall, not bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

I love the lettuce wraps. Everything else I've had there is ok, but the lettuce wraps are amazing. They're so crisp and refreshing but savory and hearty at the same time. The first time I had the vegetarian ones, I had to double-check with the server to make sure that I got the right ones because they were so meaty (yes, that's a compliment). Yesterday we got the chicken lettuce wraps, and they were incredible, as always! I tried the moo goo gai pan for the first time, and it was ok. The shrimp and chicken were cooked perfectly, but the giant pieces of vegetable were impossible to eat. I had an entire stalk of bok choy that was too rounded and slimy to cut, so I didn't get to actually taste any of it. My shrimp still had the tails on, which seemed a little weird to me in a stir-fried dish. If I'm going to get a seafood dish there again, I'll go with the shrimp in lobster sauce, which is pretty rockstar. My friend got the shaking beef, and he said that he'd definitely get it again. Our server was friendly and efficient, although it was obvious that the poor girl had too many tables. However, that happens sometimes when you go into a restaurant right at the end of the lunch rush.

My husband and I used to go here every year for my birthday, and we really enjoy it. We've been going now for 6 yrs, and it has stayed consistently delicious. What PF Changs serves is flavorful. I read some other reviews about small portion sizes; the portions are the right amount for the price and for the average consumer.... We always take home leftovers. Some people like to be pretentious in claiming they know about "real" good food that is "authentic", I say who cares about authentic if the food tastes really great. Service is also terrific!

Even though I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, this place has a lot of good food and plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. The kitchen made a mistake withy food, but both the waitress and manager worked very hard to make things right.

I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the food was today! I haven't eaten at a PF Changs in years as I usually avoid chains but I'm on the road and it was convenient. The happy hour deals are great, wait staff is very nice and helpful and the food tasted good! Nice atmosphere, if you're into that or if it matters to you.

Take out was a longer wait than expected. But I needed flavor and knew I could get that here. You can also bomb your diet to hell here. So I chose the tofu brocolli dish called Ma Po . I highly recommend it. Flavorful and can be made spicy with there chili paste. The hot and sour soup is also a good choice here. Tons of flavor without better heavy, fatty, or gelatenous like some hot and sour versions can be.

Good food and good service. Ambiance is very open so noises tend to echo. But overall they do a quality job here. Give it a try.

They only get three stars because of the service. PF Changs around the US typically taste the same to me. Food is always great, and the Dim Sum lunch with a couple of appetizers was the right choice for my hunger. Service is usually good at PF Changs. BUT NOT HERE. For the few people that were in this place I was amazed at how slow things were happening. It took just as long to get the check as it did to get the food. If I am in the area I would give it another shot.

PF Changs is always good...but... Have to give 5 stars for the phenomenal service given by the manager, Sally. She went above and beyond, providing the most wonderful experience for my little boy. She came by the table to check on us, and struck up a conversation with my 3 1/2 yr old. They talked about his birthday, and how he didn't want to be 4 yet, and how he wanted a rocket ship birthday party. After our (yummy, as usual) meal, she brought him a huge piece of chocolate cake with 3 and one half candles :) along with two extra plates with raspberry sauce writing he is 3 1/2 and a big rocket ship....! They made a huge production and rocket ship noises...my son was just so happy! Sally knows how to treat her customers, was just amazing with my son and how she spoke with him, and it left a lasting impression on all of us. Thank you Sally!!!

This location is cutting corners the way it seems. Did away with the table sauce the way they used to do it and seems like the staff is just getting trained.

Average Chinese food. expensive for what you get. I had take out and won't do that again.

I have enjoyed this place immensely on every visit so they deserve every star. However, if you erase the upscale ambiance, stylish presentation and decorative garnishes, you have decent Chinese food that can be purchased at any of the really good hole in the wall Chinese spots. Why do I keep going back? Because sometimes I want to eat really good hole in the wall Chinese food while using a lap napkin, plastic chop sticks, and listening to jazz.

Quick seating, quality of food is consistent and good for what you expect from a chain restaurant. Noise level is a bit high but overall the service is great and food is good.

Food good as always but couple of problems with service being slow, spring rolls very very greasy and noodles were cold. The manager addressed it right away and very understanding. One bad experience but still a good place with good food. Will come back for sure!

Consistently corporately awful. We've come to expect nothing from this location and this chain and one again they proved us right. Even their signature appetizer lettuce wraps were no good.

  • Rebecca H.

If I were basing this review solely on the food I'd give this place a 2 but since the service was excellent I feel inclined to be generous and give them a 3. The boyfriend and I ended up here one night since we has a $30 gift card that had been given to me. First, even though this is a corporate place I really like the decor and feel o f the restaurant. We skipped the appetizer and went straight for the entrees. I had spicy chicken and he had the orange chicken but we ended up sharing allowing each of us to have a bit of both. My favorite part of the meal was my drink and I didn't even have any alcohol. They have some sort of fruity, flowery tea that is quite good. I also really, I mean really, like the soy sauce, hot mustard, chili sauce concoction they mixed up table side. Those two things alone aren't really enough to draw me back in though.

Had to reconsider an earlier review, which was decent - but not fabulous. Third time here, husband had the Wok Charred Beef which he enjoyed. This was a nice sized-portion. This meal didn't come with any soup or salad. I ordered my usual, the Crispy Honey Chicken which was utterly soggy. No crispy in sight. The entree is about $15.95 and comes with rice. That's it - no veggies - no soup - no salad. I think that's a bit much for what I had. Ordering the chicken lettuce wraps made the meal a bit more interesting. As a side note, I did quite a bit of sleuthing and have found a very close approximation for the lettuce wraps and we did make them successfully at home. We'll try it again sometime. The service was okay, but there was water spilled under our booth and next to the booth on the floor, making the area slippery. The server asked DH how the food was right as he was chewing; she might have waited and observed a little first before approaching. I was not offered any sweetener along with my iced tea; no biggie, but it would have been nice to have it offered as soon as it was brought to the table. Next time, we will just go to Wave Bistro or Hiro88 on Maple. Their tempura shrimp is fresh tasting and we've always had neatly prepared carry-outs there with excellent service. It doesn't cost that much more to go there and I feel the food is much fresher.

I've worked in restaurants for more than 10 years. I know all too well that things can go wrong at times. After all, everyone has bad days. One major difference between a decent restaurant and a great restaurant is that great restaurants acknowledge a problem and fix it to the customers satisfaction. The staff and management at this establishment fixed the issue and then went a step further and for that reason I will continue giving them my business...because we all have off days. Not to mention, the food was still outstanding. I don't pay much attention to reviews that criticize the food because it's "not authentic enough" or some b.s. This is America, not China. If you want more authentic Chinese food then go to a little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant with Chinese people who speak just enough english to take your order and process your bill (not bashing these kind of places, they serve great food). P.F. Chang's has great atmosphere and their food tastes great. I have yet to have bad service there even during my most recent visit when I waited much longer than I wanted to. They still went out of their way to make me happy and that is something that, as a patron, I greatly appreciate.

  • Ben K.

Pros: Decent Decorations Cons: Burned food, not satisfying, feels greasy, loud P.F. Chang's is another one of those places like Cheesecake Factory that everyone seems to love except me. I really don't get why this place is so popular. I've eaten here more than once and everytime I eat here, I feel the same things: it's too loud, the food is burned, the food doesn't taste very good, and the food doesn't settle well as it's overly greasy. Add to an hour long wait and it's a place I won't venture to in a long time. For much better (and more authentic) Chinese, drive about 30 more seconds around the corner, next to AAA and go to J.C. Mandarin. Much, much better Chinese food and it's local.

  • Katie R.

The food was great but our server was not polite. She seemed like she couldn't wait for us to leave. My boyfriend tried to make small talk and either she didn't hear him or didn't care. We'll be back because the food was awesome but hope we have a happier server next time.

Went alone for a 'kill-some-time' meal. They didn't sneer when I asked for a table. They didn't seat me under a spotlight in the center of the room. The seared Ahi tuna appetizer was good, as was the steamed shrimp dumplings. The wok-seared mushrooms and the Shanghai cucumbers were good too. The NY cheesecake was way too large, but the fruit that came with it complimented it nicely. The server was a bit off, but I didn't hold it against him. I didn't feel rushed to leave.

This must be the best nationwide Chinese chain. There are better Chinese places, but not many. Impeccable decor, exceptional service every time. We love the szechuan asparagus, and we haven't found a bad thing on the menu.

Today was my first time at the PF Chang's in Omaha. I had been to the one in Des Moines before (several years ago in the days before I was an avid Yelper) and all I could remember was that I couldn't remember why I wasn't as huge of a fan as some other people I know. Yesterday I got an email about Briny Bard's accomplishment/free lettuce wrap promotion ( pfchangs.com/briny ) I thought maybe I should give it a try. Unfortunately the most appealing part of the restaurant , to me, is still the giant horse statues outside (which I've always secretly wanted to climb and get a picture on). The decor on a whole is actually quite fantastic, but yeah it does lose some of it's charm when you remember that every PF Chang's has the same awesome decor. After that realization, it all feels a little less 'special'. The lunch bowls are definitely the way to go. For $9 I had sesame chicken, brown rice and a cup of hot and sour soup. My fellow diners spent $12-13 on their entrees and got less (in my estimation). That's when I remembered that I thought the portions were a little small for the 'premium' price. But all that being said, the food is good - they really know how to make "real" hot mustard here - and service was speedy and friendly, but now that I've satisfied my curiosity I don't need to go back unless it's for an after hours photo-op. ;)

The one good thing about chain restaurants is that they are consistent. And PFC does a consistently good job with Asian food. Don't miss the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer... any entrée is great, but I'm partial to the beef with broccoli and brown rice. They also do a good job of packaging take out orders for curbside delivery. Best of all, they make the best, freshest fortune cookies ever.

I know that P.F. Changs is not authentic Chinese food. That said, the food is always delicious. I've been here numerous times and have never had a rude or horrible waiter/waitress. If you are dining with a friend or SO -- definitely check out their 2 for $40 deal. If you want a good meal, great service, I'd definitely recommend P.F. Changs!

We got take out from here while staying overnight in Omaha. To sum it up, this is TERRIBLE Chinese! Bland and tasteless. My husband ordered Kung Pao Chicken and I had Coconut Curry Vegetables. We each also had an appetiser, harvest spring rolls and vegetable dumplings. These were equally poor. Neither of the entrees were spicy as they should have been. We were sorry that we wasted a meal out on this place, we would have been happier with fast food, at least then our expectations wouldn't have been so high.

I'll admit it, I just don't "get" upscale Chinese restaurant's. To me, Chinese food is great takeout, something to get at midnight and regret the next day. While I have never been disappointed by the food here, neither have I been impressed. It is expensive for Chinese and it leaves you wondering where the money goes, I would guess the cool building and to pay the super hot hostesses that keep me coming back here for lunches.

My Wife and I had not been in awhile so we decided to stop in last night. Seemed a bit busier than usual because of prom. However, we got a seat at the bar almost right away and don't have a problem eating there either. Bartender got us a menu and drinks in a timely fashion and even wiped off in front of us. This is where the good part of the experience stopped. We waited more than ample time to place a food order even given the fact of how busy the place was. I spoke up to get the order placed and ordered the lettuce wrap app and each of us got a couple entrees. After 25 minutes had passed since ordering it was apparent to one of the bartenders, by them noticing on their own, that we should have gotten our app by then. Our biggest concern was not so much how long we waited but that we did not want to get our meal at the same time as the app. After the bartender came back she said there was some sort if mix up but it was being handled. Over 10 minutes later we were told that the manager was going to bring out our order and talk to us. At that time we requested to cancel our app order due to the fact that the party sitting next to us, who sat down probably 15 minutes after we did, got the app order already. They proceeded to bring it out anyway and offered it for free, we respectfully declined. Shortly thereafter our order came out which had clearly been sitting there for awhile, I am assuming to try to space our orders apart, cause it was not hot, warm at best. The manager did give us $15 gift card for our next visit. However, overall we do not feel that this was a acceptable resolve for the overall experience and absolutely did not feel that there was anything genuine about the apology either. The goal for this review is in hope that these issues are addressed before our next visit or it will def be our last.

Totally overrated. For 70 bucks, I fed four people. Very pricey considering what I did/didn't get. Lots of the West Omaha fake bake skanks and ridiculous douchebag juggalos (just google douchebag under google images if you need a true visual) hanging out there bragging about their Scion tc's. The food was very bland, and the service was borderline poor. It was very crowded. People rave about this place. Oh yeah, the same people that rave about this place rave about Taco Bell, Famous Dave's and Fazoli's! For less than half of the price, choose a local Chinese place and bring home 20 lbs of food. If you want to overpay for a meal and sit in a place that is crowded for no reason, you will love P.F. Chang's!

Like all the PF Chang's, I go there hoping for good Chinese food and I get okay food, that's overpriced. The atmosphere is polished, but a bit too much so. On this visit the wait for a table was long and the service was so so.

My husband and I used to eat here all the time when we lived in Omaha. We were lured in by the amazing smells in the parking lot, and we kept coming back time after time because of the delicious food and wonderful service! As I have mentioned in reviews I have written on other restaurants, my husband is deathly allergic to mushrooms. We have made our server aware of his situation everyone time we have come here, and every time they have gone above and beyond to provide us with a safe and enjoyable dining experience. They even went so far as to print a special menu out that listed only the foods that did not contain any mushrooms. The lettuce wraps are the way to go for appetizers, and the mushu chicken is absolutely amazing for an entree. The servers mix up several sauces at your table, no matter what you order, and they do a great job explaining each and everyone... they definitely add to the food! If you have room after enjoying all of the delicious appetizers and entrees, the banana spring roll with coconut ice cream are a must!

First went to a PF Chang's in Phoenix, AZ..LOVED IT. I was very excited to hear they were going to build one in Omaha. The staff is always friendly. I prefer to sit at a more private booth, as the tables are placed too close together for any type of private conversation. The hostess that seats us does not cop an attitude if I suggest a booth, rather than a table. (Big Plus). The food has always been excellent here, however you will probably not make your calorie goal for the day as the food is usually pretty high in calories. If you get the lunch portions, you cut the calories by quite a bit. Only drawback is the food is quite pricey. I usually hold off dining here until a special occasion comes up, like birthday or anniversary. That way both my waistline & wallet are happy. The chicken lettuce wraps are excellent!

A nice place for dinner after traveling across Nebraska on a hot summer's day. I have been to this PF Changs once before and my experience was consistent: Very good service and good-very good food. We had fried pot stickers for our appetizer. They were very good to excellent. My wife had the lettuce wrapped item which she liked a lot. I considered it good to very good. I had the Chang's Spicy Chicken which was good-very good. I have had better. The ambiance is nice. The evening we were there it was a bit noisy. I wasn't able to review Yelp before hand. I think that the next time may try the Mandarin. (also the name of our favorite Chinese Restaurant in Wausau, WI.)

It was our first time eating here. Fried green beans were good and the portion size was decent, but then again you can get fried green beans about anywhere. When the meals came out, I was a little disappointed. Other than the asparagus being a tad spicy, the taste of the food was fine. I thought portion size however was small considering the price. I feel there are plenty of other places in town that are on par with P.F. Chang's in terms of food that come with a smaller price tag. Atmosphere is a tad "fancier" than a lot of places, so if you are looking for that, then perhaps P.F. Chang's is what your looking for.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
