Great service, friendly staff, clean environment, nice atmosphere, and yummy food at a great price! I didn't use the restroom but the rest of the building for sure was handicap accessible.

My wife and I recently stumbled upon McAlister's Deli while traveling through Missouri. The food and customer service was so great, we decided to give the Omaha location a try. After all, we pass it twice a day and for unknown reasons never gave it a second look. Needless to say, we became regulars with each experience being as good as the last. Unfortunately, our love affair with McAlister's Deli came to a screeching halt yesterday evening when I decided to swing by to grab dinner on the way home. I pulled up to the drive through window and waited. I continued to wait and waited some more. While waiting I noticed two people standing at the counter (one person on each side) chatting. Assuming they didn't know I was at the drive through window, I waited some more. The young lady looked over at the drive through window and I immediately breathed a sigh of relief at the thought of my wait being over. No such luck as she continued her conversation. Not wanting to rudely blow the horn, I continued to wait. She looked a few more times but continued chatting. Finally the guy she was chatting with walked over to the drive through window and with complete attitude made a flippant and rude remark. Yes he was a real tough guy for all of 20 seconds, just enough time for him to realize he had copped an attitude with the wrong customer. Needless to say he was deflated real fast! He went on to explain that he was off the clock which was evident from the baseball cap and cell phone partially to his ear. I asked why an "off the clock" employee was 1.) Preventing an "on the clock" employee from taking care of the customer? and 2.) Why was an "off the clock" employee working the drive through window. He didn't have a response and instead of apologizing, continued down the path of excuses. Nevertheless, the evening closed with a trip to Chik Fil' A and the realization that our love affair with McAlister's Deli in Omaha was officially over! We will NEVER return! Common denominator from the pictures, PEOPLE STANDING AROUND DOING NOTHING!!!

Went for the first time for lunch. Had the Hot Brown Special. Staff was very friendly, food was very good, atmosphere was clean, prices about right. Definitely will come back.

Good, healthy offerings. They also have some good unhealthy ones. Caters to all appetites. The place is super clean and new and staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't get to try the iced tea or flavored lemonades but will next time. I had a half veggie sandwich with a half portion of ultimate nachos with chicken. Both were great. A kid's meal is only $0.99 when dining in.

I got the choose 2 option with the ultimate spud ole w/veggie chili and the southwestern chicken griller. The spud was very dry (not enough butter or, for that matter, the Ro-tel cheese sauce...I was hard-pressed to find any cheese at all) and there was only one tiny dot of guacamole on one corner of my sandwich. The sad part is, both items would have been excellent if they'd been made correctly. The rest of the menu looks so good, and I love the fact that they have veggie chili, so I'll give them another chance. Pro: Super-friendly staff. Huge menu. Vegetarian chili. Large portions. Cons: Skimpy toppings on food.

One of the good deli's in Omaha. Their Ice tea is to die for and is very very large. Good sandwiches and cookies.

Last week I went on a lunch date with one of the sweetest, thoughtful, and helpful woman who always remembers a birthday and a personal thank you card snail mailed to your front door after receiving a gift or anything....my mom!! It was a spontaneous adventure bus ride and we decided to try this sandwich restaurant with a gift card she received when this place first opened. I had never heard of the place but was excited to share lunch with my mom and partake in some much needed mother daugther time. Located near Marshall's and a hop, skip, and jump away from TJMaxx this restaurant has ample parking and boasts a casual atmosphere with chipper and helpful staff. We ordered our meals after several minutes of studying the menu. I ordered the 'Choose 2,' consisting of the 1/2 french dip and 1/2 Italian club salad with a sweet tea. My mom ordered the ever popular spud max with a coke. The drink sizes were huge!! If you're thirsty, this is the place to go to quench that thirst and hydrate. The sweet tea was AH-May-zing! Just the right amount of sweet without that sugar rush to the head. I loved my french dip sandwich and the Italian salad was a large portion with generous portions of toppings. My mom's spud max was also very large which she was able to save half for her lunch the next day. Staff here were friendly and very helpful! They came by to pick up our empty plates and offered refills on our drinks since we were getting ready to leave. I loved my lunch date with my mom and hope to try more of their menu items soon! Perhaps this place with be 'the lunch place' for my mom and me for future dates together :) Highly recommend!

To me, McAlister's just doesn't stand out that much among the dozens of other sandwich shops in this city. It's aim is to be something like Jason's Deli rather than Subway and while it isn't bad, it doesn't stack up to Jason's. I'd probably consider it in the future but certainly wouldn't make it a destination.

Good food and decently priced. There seemed to be a lot of employees just kind of hovering about. I also noticed the manager on his cell phone. Maybe I'm old school, but I just don't think that cell phones are appropriate in the work place.

I am not a fan of chains but when one does it this well I will support it. I have been three times in the month that this deli has been open. Each meal has been quick, quality and with friendly service. When you eat in the food is served on actual plates. When you eat out they wrap your sides individually and wrap your box to prevent spillage. The decor is what you would expect from a chain but they put some effort into making it Nebraska themed. There is a TV in the dining room turned onto the news the times I have been there. The food is excellent. Quality breads, meats, cheeses on the sandwiches. The three I have had The Big Nasty (had to once), the Angus French Dip, and the Pot Roast have all been super satisfying. I love the mash and gravy here. Nothing out of the normal but tasty and of comfort. McAlisters is known for their sweet tea and when you order you get a massive amount and it is tasty and refreshing. It is rare that I am glad another chain had infiltrated town, but this one should be considered a welcome addition.

The staff is pretty nice. The food is good and quick. The restaurant is clean. A little above cookie cutter deli food and way better than any drive-thru fastfood.

The fare we have tried thus far in two trips is ok, but not the greatest value. The Spud Max loaded baked potato was huge, but less than loaded. The sad part is that we had a sandwich, but I can't remember it! What does that say! Good thing I loaded a picture on the first trip, otherwise the whole meal would have escaped me. Wife loved the sweet tea! They do have a frequent visitor card program with rewards that was not mentioned on the initial visit. The Savannah salad was ok, and the potato soup was decent. Will probably return to try the Pot Roast baked potato or Black Angus Roast Beef Spud before reaching a final verdict. They might want to try expanding into premium italian sandwiches. Looks like I should have tried the choose 2 option to have increased my chances of finding something I loved on those first 2 trips.

GOOD food, reasonable prices, very courteous staff and very clean. Turkey Reuben is a really good twist on the original. If you are an Iced Tea enthusiast, you will like theirs. I will be back!

Solid choices for a quick lunch. Nothing fancy, but it's fresh and hot. They have lite options too.
