The bread and rolls here are to die for; if I wasn't so lazy I'd get a free slice here every day, and then buy bread for home while I was there. When I was younger we used to stop here everyday for a (free!) slice of bread to power us on our long walk home; and it has certainly not gone down hill since then. I have to say my favorite bread only comes out at Thanksgiving time, the chocolate chip pumpkin bread could probably be dessert all on it's own, you don't even really need butter.

The bread is baked the same day you purchase it. It always tastes so good and you can get free samples there that can serve as entire meals.

"Free Slices" of warm, yummy bread....I love bread even more than I love chocolate and could not resist...I came home with a loaf of cinnamon walnut raisin bread and some chocolate chip walnut oatmeal cookies, plus samples of jalapeno cheese bread and cinnamon chip bread....I am so happy (Note: drooling during the previous review is represented by ".....")

I had to come back to Omaha for work which was pretty cool because I had another chance to try the restaurants I missed from my first 2 week stint here. I got the luau chicken sandwich for lunch. Great sandwich! Bread is obviously amazing. Then the combination of the chicken and ham was really good--why don't more places do that combo? I guess it might be a bit pricey by Omaha standards ($7.25 for the whole luau chicken sandwich) but it's worth it if you think of the long-term health benefits over eating at some fast food place down the street.

Simply one of the best places to get bread. They make it from scratch and will only sell it to you fresh. They let you try it before you buy it. The price is definitely worth it. Their cheese bread is the best that I've ever had!

I love Great Harvest. Their free slices of bread sign brings me in, and also convinces me to buy things. Usually I'll end up with a slab of bread, a loaf of something fantastic and one of their trek bars. Never had a product from GH I didn't like, but it does tend on the 'expensive' side. Nevertheless, this is special food and worth it.

I came down on a Monday not knowing they were closed on Sundays and Mondays, however there was a man in the building who opened up to us. I was looking for some boule, and although they don't have true boule, they have a white bread that's very similar and he offered it to us free of charge. Although it was two days old, it is some of the most flavorful bread I have ever eaten! I will definitely be shopping here for my specialty breads from now on.
