We go here all the time with my friends. This is a good central spot from where we all work and we can always count on great service and awesome food. The lobster chowder is a must and I love the gluten free Alfredo and the shrimp and salmon risotto. The staff is super attentive and kind and always does a great job. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we ordered dessert for the first time today. We ordered the new York cheesecake and we received a super tough and rubbery tasteless dessert. It was really disappointing and did not represent the standard of their other food.

We went here at the end of April when - as we learned at agonizing length - they had just changed their menu. When the waitress asked if we'd been there before, I said yes, because we had been once a number of years ago. But apparently "yes" meant "yes, we eat here several times a week and have memorized the menu and wish to know every detail of how the menu has changed" because that's what we heard, in excruciating detail, for what seemed like 10 minutes. Why not ask if we want to hear all that first? Anywho, the food averaged out to acceptable - my eggplant parmesan was fine but nothing special, but the vegetable risotto was apparently not-so-good. We should have heeded the earlier review on that. The wines were fine, but both the food and the wine are too expensive for the quality. I waffled between two and three stars on this, but if I ask myself "would I go back?", the answer's no, so two stars it is.

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine's Day. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese, the calamari, tomato soup, Greek salad, shrimp and lobster cannelloni, and a shrimp pasta dish (can't remember the name.) The soup was cold, the entrees were, well, they gross. Overly greasy, overly cheesy, overly salty. This place is overly overrated. Olive Garden has better Italian for half the cost. However, if I was to rate the staff, I would give them 5 stars. We were really late for our reservation and the hostess was really great about it. Our server was super friendly and funny.

Waiter was terrible. Took forever and abandon our table many times. Both filets came out terribly wrong. Wrong side on one as well. Bad vibe. Everything bad

I had the shrimp salad and that was pretty good. It had pepperocinis on it which I wasn't expecting and it gave it a nice little kick. It didn't really keep me full though and I was hungry in a few hours. (Serves me right for getting a salad!) My table mates had the eggplant parm and the prime rib sandwich. Both looked pretty good and they loved it. The service is very warm and appreciative. Kind of a cool place with a nice bar.

Four in our party and not one exclaimed about how good the food was. We were all there for lunch and expecting some fabulous food. My son got out of the military and we took him and my husband's boss out for lunch and were really bummed about the meals. My Caeser salad was drenched in oil and it was sopping wet. Very average flavor. Rigatoni was okay, but certainly nothing special. Chicken parmesan was rather flat and didn't look juicy at all. Average taste similar to Olive Garden. The cannoli wasn't very crisp on the outside and didn't seem too fresh. I research recipes at home and devise my own versions. I can say that without a doubt, my Italian dinners are better and I'm not even Italian! Wouldn't bother returning - so disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go to Lo Sole Mio instead. We had a catered meal from there once and it was outstanding. I just wish they had one on the west side of town.

I went here for the first time for a girlfriends birthday lunch and was excited to try someplace new. I wasn't incredibly hungry so I ordered the 1/2 soup and 1/2 salad combo. The chicken florentine soup was good, not great, but good. Then there was the salad, a ceasar salad sounded simple enough. Unfortunately, the lettuce was on the verge of going bad. It was limp and had some brown spots on the edges. I tried to fish out a few bites and gave up trying. Unfortunately, those bites were just enough and I was sick for the rest of the afternoon. I told our waiter about the lettuce and they removed the salad from my bill and ended up charging me for a bowl of soup. Now, I know I ate the cup of soup, but it seemed odd to serve me rotten food and not take the entire dish off my bill. I even mentioned to the manager that they should not be serving that lettuce to customers because it actually had made me sick and he said the "thinks" the "chef" was going to stop serving it. My first inclination is to give them one star, however the server was a very nice young man and he did a nice job taking care of our table, so he gets the extra star. Ironically, as we left I noticed the produce supplier's truck in back of the restaurant. So basically, they were trying to finish up the old lettuce before getting in the new. It would have been much better to tell me you were out of romaine and ask me to choose a different salad!! Thank you Biaggi, I truly appreciated you ruining my Saturday afternoon!

This is the first time I have ever ordered a meal and didn't eat it. The lettuce was wilted and brown. The sauce with my pasta was watery and had little flavor. Probably because water is flavorless. My sister's lasagna was tiny, and tasted like Stouffer's. However, the waitress and the manager were very nice, and they did comp the meal.

Took my wife there for her 30th birthday. The service was great. The owner came and joked around with us in between courses. The tuna special was great. Our kids had a good time. I thought the ambiance was perfect. I would recommend.

Yum! No complaints on Biaggi's here. Last Friday a group of us made our way to Biaggi's for dinner. This was my husband's and my first visit, and the restaurant didn't disappoint. The bread they brought to the table, with olive oil and parmesan cheese, was the perfect starter to an Italian meal. I'm still thinking about the bread days later! For starters I ordered a glass of wine and a Wedge Salad, which was served up just how a wedge salad should be - with plenty of bacon and blue cheese dressing. For dinner I ordered a half order of the Butternut Squash Ravioli, and it was pretty delicious. I did have leftovers, and the ravioli tasted just as good a couple days later. The service was good, and the ambiance nice. For a special occasion I would definitely consider coming back.

Had dinner here a few weeks ago with the generosity of a friend's gift card. I devoured a plentiful portion of the Capellini de Mare - "Angel hair pasta, large shrimp, scallops and calamari sautéed in a spicy tomato-vegetable sauce and topped with mussels and Little Neck clams." The sauce was spicy and delicious, the seafood was fresh and cooked well. It was the perfect portion because I was *starving*. Service was friendly and attentive and complimentary bread with "Biaggi's Butter" was very much appreciated. Their olive oil is quite tasty, and the grated parmesan cheese is fresh and flavorful. I'm not a huge fan of most of the chain restaurants, but somehow Biaggi's has always been good at making the atmosphere and experience feel like a family-owned, upscale Italian eatery. I'd definitely go back...especially for a special occasion.

I had a nice lunch at Biaggi's today for about $10 (with water to drink). Nothing to yell from the rooftops about, but the sandwich was simple and tasty. The soup (I did the 'you pick two' option) was a good quantity and included some interesting tidbits. Temperature could have been a little warmer on the soup and with regard to our server's temperament, but I understand they're busy during that peak time. The restaurant itself could have stood to be a little more clean, as I noticed some dust accumulation on the blinds, ceiling diffusers, etc. Also worth noting, they have an entirely gluten-free menu (an anomaly at a restaurant that's obviously heavily pasta-based). Ultimately, not really a place I'd recommend for fine dining, or even dinner necessarily, but for a quick lunch that's slightly upscale, this is a pretty decent option.

We had a poor experience. We had a reservation for 9 people and were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. The service was super slow on all accounts. Granted, it was Saturday night and they were pretty busy. But the main thing I wanted to say was the lasagna was terrible. Besides the fact that it was barely (and I mean barely) warm, it was soupy looking and did not taste that great. I think 4 or 5 of us ordered it and all of us agreed we would not get it again.

Pros: When they do something right, they do it RIGHT. Nice ambiance. Cons: When they do something wrong... My review of Biaggi's might come of a little biased because i used to work there as a server. I've been told that management has changed hands a few times since I left, but I'll comment from my experiences as a picky diner. I think Biaggi's has a really nice atmosphere. It's tucked in a little restaurant center close to Boys Town and Linden Estates. I normally am not crazy about chain Italian food, but Biaggi's makes some really quality dishes. The ravioli is among the best I've ever had. The pizza is good as well. It's a great place to take a date. However, some of the dishes are awful. The chicken Parmesan was terrible. I've had three fish dishes and haven't liked any of them. It makes for a hit or miss experience. The hits hit the hot spot. The misses, well... I'd give this place a 3.5, which rounds up to a 4. Hope that you order something good, otherwise you'll experience something around a 2.

We stumbled upon Biaggi's during a cross-country road trip and we found this restaurant to be extremely good. Lots of choices, fair prices, excellent quality of food and service, reasonable noise level, and very food allergy friendly. Portion sizes were generous and the mediterranean salad and eggplant parm was wonderful. Yum. If we lived in Omaha this would easily be a family favorite.

The first time we went there, we sat in the bar and had great service on a friday night. Had spaghetti, steak salad, margarita, etc. a wide variety of foods and loved the menu...especially their deserts. waiters were great. second time we came the food was also very good and we sat in the main room. they forgot to bring out one of our dishes so they gave us a free desert. very nice. good service and good food. will be coming back. nice ambiance.

I LOVE Biaggi. I am an enormous Italian food fan, and Biaggi is among my favorites in Omaha. The restaurant is ambient and beautiful, the staff professional and accommodating, and the food is outstanding. My favorite dish is the Penne Sardi. I also love their chicken marsala. Their bread baskets are delicious, and they offer a full bar as well. I am also a huge fan of their bananas foster dessert. Delicious food, very affordable.

came here with the parents on a friday night, was expecting a crowd but pretty quiet. having not tried many italian restaurants in omaha, i had low hopes. bread basket was nice and soft, very good. shared a large family salad, dressed nicely and fresh. we ordered a fish dish (excellent), chicken dish (superb), and my fettucine with lobster. the pasta was slightly overcooked but the lobster broth and meat were stupendous. great service, great food. nice ambiance. best italian food I've had in a long while. nice!

I had not been in to Biaggi's in a while. Quite honestly, the last time we were there our food was just ok - the service was (How do I put this?) a little odd! It was a Sunday evening, it was not busy, and we took family out to enjoy a nice evening, and that dining experience left a bad impression that lasted for 6 months. On a whim, my husband and I decided to give lunch a try. Quite possibly it was the best meal I have ever had at Biaggi's. I ordered the special. I was a lamb porterhouse served with the best potatoes I have EVER had in my life, and fresh green beans. Our waiter was friendly and professional (unlike on our last visit) and even suggested a wine to go with my lunch. I was a bit hesitant of his suggestion, so he offered a sample, and surprised and pleased, he filled a rather large pour. Now - back to those potatoes! They were perhaps slightly roasted, then flash fried and drizzled with a balsamic reduction ... the combination was heavenly! I may even dream about them they were so good! The thick cut of lamb was cooked perfectly and was easily cut off the bone. It was seared and delicately spiced. In the bit of sauce that was drizzled over the meat there was what I assume where shallots and it was all deglazed with a touch of white wine. I savored every bite. And the best part ... I think my entree was $10. So I will be back to Biaggi's ... and soon. Although a bad dining experience can leave a bad taste in your mouth ... they redeemed themselves on this latest visit, and even though I am still a tad bit cautious, I will be back for more!

Biaggi's has been around for a while, but they recently released an extensive gluten-free menu. If you're a Celiac or gluten-sensitive, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

We were supposed to meet someone here last night who accidentally stood us up, so maybe it deserves a fourth star, but I still need a little more time to gain some perspective. I enjoyed the muscato d'asti as an apertif, nice and fruity sweet with just a little tickle. The Caesar salad was good. The bread was fine. My porkchops and my husbands ziti al forni were, how do I put this, overseasoned. Maybe it was me, but there was too much flavor. I will definitely come back and see whether this holds true, or my opinion is tainted by the wierd social situation we were in. The waitstaff and hostess were wonderful. But the place was empty by 8:30pm on a Sunday night. Is that typical for Omaha, West Omaha, or something else? Same thing happened at Ted's across the way on Saturday night...maybe it's that location.

Had dinner here with a large party. We were seated quickly and the decor was what you would expect for a higher end restaurant. The wait staff was great. Since there were so many of us, I was able to gauge a lot of their different meals. I would say the food was made very well. I had the Oso Bucco. If you have had this before, you know that the meat should practically fall off the bone - and it did and was great. I agree with others that the lasagna was very good too. If you are in the mood for steak or Italian food, with good drinks and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend this place - especially for business meetings and romantic dinners.

I really like Biaggi's. * The food is great - much better than one should expect from a large chain. * The duck confit is fantastic - I would have a hard time ordering a different appetizer that I've never had before over one of my favorite dishes in Omaha. * The wait staff sucks - inattentive, inconsistent and in need of training. ("There are supposed to be sour what on that dish?") Besides the duck confit, I highly recommend the Penne Sardi: Penne pasta tossed with grilled chicken, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions and a sun-dried tomato cream sauce. Finished in the oven with a topping of crispy garlic and oregano seasoned breadcrumbs. YUUUUUUUMMMMM. Read more about this and other restaurants on Gastronomic Fight Club: gastronomicfightclub.com…

I'm rarely one to bother trying, much less rating, a chain restaurant. But, I was going out with someone a generation above me who enjoys nicer restaurants and picked this place. The service was so great and the ambiance so perfect for a couple women who really wanted a quiet place to talk, that I felt like it was even worthy of 4 stars. And that's before my incredible, incredible goat cheese and beet salad. In fact, if it wasn't a chain, I might give it 5 stars. But, alas, it is. And, truthfully, with almost any other company, this place might have been a bit too fancy-pants for me.

Food is really good, however, the service we got wasn't the best. Our server took a long time to initially come to our table, the specials weren't given to us right away, our drinks took a while. When the server came, he was very knowledgable. Overall, I would give it about a 6. The place is really nice, just the service was on the lower side. I could see if they were busy, but it's not.

My husband and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night. We called at 7:00 and they were able to get us in at 7:30. We were promptly seated when we arrived and were immediately greeted by our server, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She also brought us fresh bread (two kinds) served with an olive oil, herb, and parmesan cheese dip. The bread and oil were delicious! To drink I ordered the Pesco Fresco (peach puree, lemonade, and iced tea) which came with free refills. It was very refreshing and had a great flavor. To start with I ordered their soup of the day, which was a mint and cantaloupe bisque served with a small scoop of raspberry sorbet. I am not usually a fan of chilled soups, but this sounded too interesting to pass up. The flavor was very interesting, and while I probably wouldn't order it again, it was a fun dish to try. Someone who liked chilled soups would really enjoy this. For my entree I ordered the Fettuccine with Lobster. The fettuccine was black, which was an interesting twist. It was served with large, flavorful chunks of lobster and coated in a creamy sauce. It was good, but I thought the sauce could have been more flavorful. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely eat here again.

This place is fake nice: looks good but tastes bad. All our meals were surface cold from waiting to be served, the bread was not fully thawed (actually cold), and I requested a glass of wine to be served with my meal that didn't arrive until I was half way done with my meal. In the plus side, our server was very considerate, but his efforts were negated when the maitre d' started cleaning our table while we were still sitting there. I would be hard pressed to say that Biaggi's is not in the same league as Olive Garden.

Ahh Its my comfort.. favorite... home cooking food. Italian! All italian fare will get my toughest critique. So lets dive into Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano The Name. "Biaggi;s Ristorante Italiano" You choose to use Italiano and shall be judged as such. Better be Classico Stepping in the restaurant it is very nicely decorated. A classic feeling to it. The staff is friendly and professional. You feel like you are going to have a wonderful dinner. Now looking over the menu I start to feel like i am in a chain darden type restaurant scaled up. I order the Rigatoni Bolognese. The holy grail of a red pasta sauce. While we waited the bread and oil was nice. Not the best bread but it was nice. Now Rigatoni with tomatoe sauce came. Notice I did not call it Rigatoni Bolognese because that is not what was served. This sauce was not a bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfect al dente however the sauce was a disaster. I had carrot chunks that would have choked a toddler. It was light on the sauce and had no silky deep richness to it. It was some crushed tomatoe with carrots and celery. The Italian sausage was cut in 1/4 slices and this was all you tasted. I was disappointed. I left confused the Italian sausage was good and had a very pleasant flavor to it. I enjoyed it. but I did not want or order an sausage sauce with crushed tomatoes and carrots. Which is what i received. So as far as reviewing the "Bolognese" It got 2 stars because they advertised a Mercedes and delivered a KIA

I'm sad to only dole out three big ones for Biaggi's, but slow service and less than fresh ingredients were the villains in this story. My main gripe was the service. I went to Biaggi's with my coworkers and boss over lunch mid-week. It was pretty busy and we did have a group of 7, but over the course of our meal the server did not refill more than 2 beverages, condiments and other requests were forgotten, water was spilled on my coat with no acknowledgement, and despite telling her we needed to get back to the office at a reasonable hour, the meal took over 2 hours. Even when you're busy, as a server communication is your responsibility. If you've got a lot going on with the kitchen or with your other tables, let diners know about it so they don't feel forgotten. I liked the full range of their menu and had a hard time deciding what to order. I went with a half Caesar salad and a half pasta dish of three cheese ravioli with a tomato cream sauce. The Caesar dressing had a nice peppery bite to it, but as you can see in the photo, some of the lettuce wasn't the freshest. I enjoyed the parm shavings on top. The pasta was decent, and had a rich deeply tomatoey sauce but tasted frozen-boiled. The menu description said "fresh," but maybe that was referring to the sauce or the cheese or something. It was a lunch portion so I get scaling back, but I only got three raviolis. :( I like the atmosphere and how it barely feels like a chain, despite having 20 some locations nationwide. Warm lighting and leather covered chairs and booths made it seem inviting and comfortable.

Looking for a place to go last minute on Sunday evening happened upon Biaggi's that turned out to be a great choice, food was wonderful service was very attentive. Beef Tenderloin steak was cooked perfect steak was very tender and flavorful comparable to fine steakhouses in town if not better., Wife's salmon dish was equally impression, fish was prepared to perfection., Casual dining with top notch food quality and device, terrific value!

We came to Biaggi's to celebrate the bday of a family member who is gluten-free, and I give them big props for having a separate gluten free menu. I would describe this restaurant as "Olive Garden on steroids," meaning a fancier version of Italian classics (no free salad though). The waitress was very friendly but she seemed forgetful, and service was very slow. For example, we put in an order for gluten free bread but she forgot to serve it. It was a week night, so the restaurant wasn't very busy. They were also out of their signature bread. Now on to the food...I ordered the Parmesan tilapia, which was flaky and moist. Everyone else at he table enjoyed their entree. The highlight for me was the white sangria, very delicious and reasonably priced. All in all, I prefer local Italian restaurants, but I wouldn't mind returning to Biaggi's for gluten free or if it was someone else's pick.

Their Caesar dressing is kind of spicy. We got their food for lunch today at work and I had the bow tie pasta and the rigatoni. The rigatoni was the best. I didn't like their bread or the oil.

A solid three stars. Upside- service and plate sizes are simply enormous. But I expected a higher end restaurant. It's too large and generic, can tell its a chain. Good if you want seriously ridiculous sides of pasta with whatever you order but I fear its quantity over quality. Extremely limited wine list. My wife had the "fresh" cod- extremely average. I had the del Mar- pretty good but again note the pasta. Good place to take the kids but not for a business or romantic date.

I just love this place. I enjoy everything about this place. Im a huge Italian fan and would put this restaurant in my top 5 for italian foods in Omaha. This is a very elegant place to dine. I can not remember our waiter's name but he was an older gentleman. I will be asking for him next time. You can tell he really enjoys his job. The menu is full of great choices and its always hard for me to choose what to eat because everything on their menu is to die for. I will continue to dine here.... Thanks

Excellent food stop today though only an app ordered because of time issues. I had the crab cakes and were 2 nice sized perfect done. Great service from entire attending staff. Have been here prior and same values. I will surely return.

The food and experience was great! Everything was clean and even though I was sick, I could taste hints of what I was eating. The menu was simple but expanded enough so you had something different from another restaurant. Our waiter was okay. He was not good about refills. However, he was great and knowledgeable about what they had to offer. Overall, a good first time experience.

I normally don't write reviews for chains, but I'll say this. Biaggi's is close to the same price point as Olive Garden, but with MUCH better food and ambiance. Now, if you're looking for authentic 5-star Italian dining then go elsewhere, but if you want Italian-American dishes at a sane price, then this place is hard to beat.

On a Sunday around noon, cozy, fire going, soft music, nicely lit. Recommend the crab linguini, lasagna bolognese, and the eggplant parmesan. All 3 were excellent; full of flavor without being salty. Do not recommend the chicken marsala though. It was lightly coated and pan fried. I've never seen it done that way. It took away from the simpleness that should be in a marsala dish. The sauce was more like a light brown gravy. Very difficult to detect the marsala wine in the sauce. The side of spinach was awesome though. Fresh whole-leaf stem-on baby spinach lightly seasoned and perfectly sauted. Now that is a side dish you never see and they pulled it off flawlessly. The bread and oil to start you off is amazing. The coffee even was good. I would definitely return with my family or friends. Great place for a date. Reasonably priced, some items may be on the high side.

Family restaurant. Food was ok, had a veggie rissotto that was described as this delicious plate but really failed. It's a pretty restaurant and the decoration is very nice. The food not so much.

This review is regarding their catering service for a wedding I attended recently. Food started during cocktail hour as servers went around with plates of deliciously surprising bacon wrapped dates. These were to die for and I couldn't stop eating them! They also served a spinach stuffed "hot pocket" with a delicious cream sauce. Both were a nice little treat before dinner. Catering was about an hour behind, but not sure if this had to do with Biaggi's or just the event in general. But we were seated even before they started. Cocktail Hour turned into Cocktail 2 Hours. The menu selection was a good balance and was served buffet style. The choices were eggplant parmesan of gorgonzola pork chop. I chose the pork chop which was a little dry and the gorgonzola on top was dry as well. The mashed potatoes were delectable! As well as the green beans and vegetables. They also served a pasta with shrimp and chicken in a ream sauce. This was by far my favorite. Overall, some aspects of the catering service were a little disappointing, but the food really proved to be a delicious choice.

I have been here probably at least 10 times plus attended several special events in their party rooms and have always loved their food! My go to seems to be the butternut squash ravioli. Yummy! Most recently I helped host a baby shower here. Great service, staff met us at the door, walked out to our cars with us and helped with decorations, gifts, etc. my only food complaint was that the wedge salad I ordered had a decent amount of brown lettuce.....I let the staff know and they were very gracious about it. Prices are very reasonable. Can do soup and salad for under $10 or a bone in ribeye for $30. A variety of price points. All meals start with complimentary bread with olive oil dipping sauce. All in all, I always enjoy my meals at biaggis!

I had a great experience here, the place was lovely, ample parking and its located just off Dodge and its easy to get too with the GPS's help that and i'd been to Mahogany Prime, the food was fresh, service was attentive but allowed me to read and enjoy my food and have a leisurely Sunday night dinner. I had a rather large at first boisterous kids party seated next to me but once the birthday girl got her gifts collected and opened before she ordered her food and stopped bossing the rest of the table around they settled down and the balance of the dining room returned. Biaggi's may be a chain but their food and ingredients in my meal- were fresh. I also liked the pride in the ingredients menu and the chef's shown by my server the friendly efficient and knowledgeable Connor. when i was trying to decide where to go this afternoon, I read the menu online and picked Biaggis due to the fried ravioli in scallion cream sauce and the fact the cannoli had pistachios and chocolate but he really had other suggestions that almost swayed me and that i'd like to come back and try. I really wanted lasagna which I ordered and a meatball on the side.my meatball was served in its little dish and was delicious. the meal started with the bread basket and olive oil herb/parm dipping sauce. their Italian bread was my favorite ( i have made this bread from scratch and i know how long it takes to get a crumb like that beautiful) but the focaccia really was tasty. i was impressed that i had the choice of two breads. the fried ravioli was DELICIOUS. so so good. stuffed with spinach and cheese and that scallion cream sauce that made me happy i was dining alone. no i'm not sharing. GET YOUR OWN. these ravioli are mine. well. i will be stealing that idea. the lasagna was really really tasty. i kept half to reheat for lunch tomorrow. i liked the meat sauce very flavorful and the second creamy parm sauce was a perfect pair. the dessert menu it all sounded delicious but i wanted cannoli which both were excellent. very creamy flavorful filling and the shells were excellent. i also had a scoop of their spumoni which i recommend to everybody. if i could have a title on this it would be SPUMONI IS DELICIOUS. or Get your own Ravioli, Michelle is not sharing hers. sooo soo delicious. in all i was very pleased with my dinner here and the price was comparable to other restaurants. Well done to Connor and the chef's. i'd try to show off my knowledge of other languages but unless its an Italian menu i don't speak much Italian so nothing came to mind. YUMMY. have leftovers. wish i had more of the spinach and cheese fried ravioli and scallion sauce. love that this restaurant is so close.

Had lunch here again today. Fried ravioli and bruscetta for appetizers, bread with olive oil and crushed peppers was good as well. Lobster corn chowder was good, flavorful. Once again, I had the shrimp and crab canneloni- excellent! Tried the bread pudding again, and this tome, or was wonderful. Love coming here for lunch!

Here now, been waiting 10+ min for our server and when she finally came by the table she said... "Give me a second and I'll be right back" when she did I would have expected her to at least have waters...ugh...let's hope the food is better 5 min later: Ok...she is really sweet :)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
