I'd say the other review is pretty spot-on. During St. Paddy's day there are plenty of people to act as a social buffer but Bill did get to break up a fight while we were here... They also had the greenest beer I've ever seen.

Horrible. I wish I could give this place negative stars.

If you want to get smashed at a cheap price, place to go. Bar staff is very friendly, but the crackheads can either a pain or funny to watch. Good time check it out

A really nice place. It has been a while since I last came here and the "new" owner made it way more cool. Lots of stickers claiming facts (terrorist hunting permit, 091101, no limit) might bother some folks. This is the heartland and I can't be mad if some drunk dude was all about professing his ignorance. The staff was welcoming and the beer is cold. Can you ask for more? A decent selection of craft beers in bottles and plenty of cheap schwill on tap. Some Hamm's, PBR, and that other crap everybody likes on tap. Odell's 90 Schilling, Lagunitas, etc.. in bottles. Lots of beer/shot combos that make you laugh and then drink. Better than before and now with an internet jukebox. I cant wait to play some GWAR, Tech N9ne, and E 40 to mess with the locals. they really like the country type music. Didn't stay for karaoke, but would have let them have it with some fun stuff. Maybe some Afroman (would have punched the first one to grind on me). Good spot. Good beer. Good times. Pro Tip: If you have some Carhartt, wear it. You'll fit right in $10 minimum on credit card

Omahs best dive. Cheap drinks, great specials, fun games, free popcorn and an excellent display of Elvis posters. I won a tshirt at a game night. Cool enough. Order the Hammeson (Hamms & Jameson) for a good deal. Tasty too. When did you last drink a Hamms?

First off three months ago I got my $60 dollar coat stolen with an $150 key inside it. Tonight on Friday the karaoke DJ was so incredibly out of line. I requested a song and he completely ignored me. I told him that the Saturday night DJ was much friendlier than he was. He continued to flick me off then he threw a piece of paper at me that I had my song on it and also then threw a pen at me. He told profanities at my significant other. I told the "acting manager" which was a bartender about how I was getting items thrown at me and he proceeded to say that he probably had a good reason. I was so upset about how this bar treats its patrons. So so terrible, at least on Friday. Never again. Negative Stars.

If you're looking for a epic weekend full of hilarious stories then Aldermans is your spot. For me and my group of friends this is our go to bar for a good time. Karaoke on weekends and cheap mason jar draws. The bartenders are the friendliest and the patrons are just the right amount of trashy.

I don't know why this place only has a few reviews especially since it's pretty packed on Friday and Saturday nights!! Since I live walking distance to this place, this bar has been my go-to since I moved from NYC and I love it. Super friendly bar staff, super cheap booze. Karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays- pub quiz on Thursdays. There is QUITE the variety of people that come here. Definitely some crazy characters and fun loving people abound. This place is also great for watching whatever sports game is popular at the moment, and there are two pool tables and a dart board...I really do love this place :)

This is a pretty fun bar. The only problem I have with it is the urinal in the men's room is like 3 inches higher than anywhere else in town. This means that when it's time, because I'm short, I get to look forward to resting my balls on the cold porcelain. That can't be good for me...

Great little dive bar. I like the vibe and you will too. This is a great place to have a paps blue ribbon and a shot of whiskey. The clientele here know how to have a good time and they like to have a great time if you're buying.

Alderman's is a dimly lit dive during the day/evening and, for whatever reason, a karaoke hotspot for local scenesters on the weekends. But first and foremost, Alderman's is a old man bar complete with plenty of old men and old man beers on tap. We're talking Hamm's, Coors Light/Bud Light/Miller Lite, etc. During my visit, the bartender was pushing $2 tallboys of Busch Light. So I had a Blue Yummy, sure. Then I found out that 16 oz. cans of Hamm's were also $2. Cool. THEN I found out that a pint of Hamm's on tap was only $1.50. Weird pricing system, but oh well. Alderman's also has plenty fancy beer options (in bottles) for the snooty drinkers out there. Must be for the karaoke crowd on the weekends. In all, a classic dive complete with rowdy locals and cheap prices.
