This is an old school family establishment, not a bad place to eat. They were out of fried chicken, but the walleye was good. The salads are, hmm, well, home cooking I suppose. One involved jello, carrots, and mayonnaise (can you get any more Midwest than that?). The apple butter is made by one of the waitresses and is really excellent-- I bought a huge jar for $5 to take home. The best part was hearing about soap box derby from the kid who won all the trophys on the wall. So, if you're looking for a friendly place for some classic grub, this is the place for you. It's a bit overpriced for what you get, though.
