I have been to Scottsbluff a handful of times in my life, but mostly for work related trips. Normally I stay at the Holiday Inn by the Sugar Factory but this time I wanted to try something different. All communication with Cher, the owner, was great prior to arriving. She had no issue with us arriving a little later in the evening due to my late flight arrival. Her husband was not there due to an emergency in Colorado. I knew it was going to be a great place, when I was greeted with "Would you like some wine and cheese while you settle in?" I felt at home and as if I had made lifelong friends with Cher. She is a retired teacher and very personable. Every breakfast was tasty and plentiful. They have many amenities like Satellite TV in the great room, wifi, plenty of drinks and my favorite, beautiful grounds to roam around if you wanted. She showed me some pictures of the weddings they hold in the yard where the old historical house originally stood. It looks amazing. I can't sing enough praises about this B&B. Even their dog, Molly, is a total sweetheart. The only complaint would be you can hear the train, but if I remember correctly it was worse at the Holiday Inn. So, not a deal breaker.
