The Dugout is a great little neighborhood dive bar at the north end of downtown Fremont. This was the busiest bar we visited in downtown Fremont on this particular Friday night. It was clear that we were outsiders, but the regulars welcomes us in and made us feel at home. The crowd was mostly middle aged and we walked in to several of them singing along with ELO on the juke box. Drinks were dirt cheap. This was our favorite straight-up bar in Fremont.
