All the basics are covered here and you are not on a blazing loud freeway. Friendly staff, easy WiFi, comfy beds. All HIE showerheads are anemic and the soaps suck and wreak of cinnamon... and I will write that is every HIE that I review. Hopefully they change them! lol

Stayed 2 nights for business and thought the hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. They asked me if I had a preference on floor, gave me a free water and had cookies on their counter. My room was very clean and not noisy at all. There was a bright light outside my window, but easily remedied by drawing the shades. Bed was very comfy and had lots of pillows. Happy hour was good...offering free wine or beer and some snacks (e.g., veggies and dip, chips and salsa, cheese). Breakfast was also good...I really appreciated the pancake machine, the biscuits with awesome white gravy (it's so good, it's gotta be bad for you!), and the friendly messages written on the bananas. Overall, if you have to stay to be in Columbus, this is the place to stay!

Newest hotel in Columbus, not many other choices or chains, but this has to be one of the better HIEs. First, the front desk checkin was friendly and painless. They even offered to fine my Priority Club account based on my address. PC members qualify for free water and a candy bar! Sweet!!! (literally) The room was nice and the Internet was wicked fast. I suspect this is because they made a big point of it beng AT&T and this is a Qwest/CenturyLink town. They have a free managers' reception in the evening - remember this is a Holiday Inn Express, not an Embassy Suites or bigger chain. Their free breakfast was equally as good.

Wow! Super impressed with this place. Stayed a week here for business and was presently surprised by the hospitality. Nothing about this hotel is much different than any other Holiday Inn Express, except... Happy Hour Monday thru Thursday. Free beer and snacks from 5:30-7.
