Awesome food and she always greets us with a smile! Get the chicken bulgogi, but I suggest you call ahead, so it is ready when you get there. It's not on the main bar, so she has to make it fresh! Also best jap chae in town!

It was difficult to find a good Korean restaurant here in the Omaha area, then Henim opened her doors. I fell in love with her homestyle Seoul cooking at first bite. the environment is awesome and Henim(the owner) is really friendly. The place is a little bit on the small side but the food is great to pick up and take home, I highly recommend every single item on the menu to everyone, it is impossible to choose a favorite because it is all fantastic.

Great food, small family run restaurant. You get a lot of food on the combo platters and they are very flexible on your choices.

Small establishment but the food and service is outstanding. The lady owner is always nice and if it's your first time, she'll walk you through her menu items. The serving sizes are always plentiful, even if you order a one-entree combo. The combos come with an egg roll and crab rangoon. It's priced cheap for the amount of food you receive. And there's plenty to choose from for entrees and veggies. A must recommend for you and your friends.

She is so sweet, her food is authentic AND good, it's consistent each and every time. It is a small place with little help. You can't be in a hurry during lunch.

Very good food which is all displayed so you can see what you're getting. May be difficult deciding on what you would like to get with the great variety! Fortunately, the owner is so kind as to give you samples to help you decide. Very sweet and kind owner who provides delicious food!!

This place is alright for me. At times I have cravings for their egg rolls, but I don't dream of their food like I do most korean restaurants. The food only comes in one level of spice, so if you can't handle too spicy, definitely don't go here. Sometimes they run out of food too! So, if you want to try this place, remember to go early in the day otherwise you won't be able try try all of their food :) The service here is great though. They know us pretty well and we don't go here very often. One thing I do like about this place is that if they are out of something you really wanted to eat, the owner will give you an egg roll or crab rangoon for free :)

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Omaha. Delicious cafeteria format food in a small quaint venue. The owner always has a beautiful smile. The food is off the charts for complex flavors and goodness.

Excellent food and excellent service; very large portions. authentic Korean food, lived in Korea for many years, do not miss this place!

A little pricey for the venue, but the food is tasty. Coming from Hawai`i, I'm a huge fan of food - in general - so when a new Korean restaurant was opening up, I had to give it a go! Owner and chef are one in the same in this family owned and operated eatery. Just this afternoon, I went in to purchase some of their tasty kim chee. I left with cucumber as well as won bok kim chee as well as Mama's version of vegetable tempura - on the house since she's promoting it! Quality of service and pride in the food they offer is what will have me coming back for more!

Amazing food! And it's healthy? And it's on the cheap? Definitely 5 star!

Best Korean in the area Overall (8/10) Food (7.5/10) - It's good, but not the best korean food I've had location (6/10) - I'm sad because it's not in Omaha Price (6/10) - A little high for what I'm used to Service (10/10) - Well taken care of and appreciated. This is a family run operation that the Omaha area desperately needs. I've tried a good chunk of the menu and I must say everything is alright. Nothing really sticks in my mind too much, but I do enjoy the spicy pork, beef jun, and galbi/kalbi. Their side dishes are alright, could use a little more selection, and I think some dishes may have been changed to match the palate in Nebraska. I'm not sure if this place would survive very well in Hawaii or California, but it is just right for Omaha. Overall, good food, great people, and worth your time to visit. Will I be back? Yes, I've been back many times

I don't think this restaurant is "Americanized" with the possible exception of the presentation. This place is making excellent food fresh from scratch every day and they don't seem to be toning it down for the strip mall crowd. It is excellent, home made, and if you like spicy Korean you will not be disappointed. Added bonus - they are honestly great people. Very pleasant, members of the community who know their neighborhood regulars. Great feel inside. Very clean. If you go to Omaha and don't eat here you are cheating yourself. I strongly disagree with whoever thought this establishment was expensive. There is real effort being invested in this food, it shows, and it us worth the very reasonable prices. Also, portions are huge. bottom line: This restaurant is good on many levels.

I came here based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the 2 choice combo $9.99 because I couldn't decide between the beef or pork. Both were really good. The pork was spicier than the beef but, I expected that and it hit the spot. Both the beef and pork were tender and there was allot of food. I could not not finish the plate so I ended up taking the rest back to the hotel. Being from Hawaii and traveling allot to Korea I have to say this place is good. I will be back for more when I try the other dishes. As for price they are spot on. This is about the going rate for good Korea food. I can be under $10 if you go with 1 choice, specials or some other dish.

Great family owned place! The food is always fresh and the owner/chef, Henim, checks in to make sure everyone is happy with their order. I have taken multiple people here who have never had Korean food and she always tells them that they can exchange their dish if they don't like it. So far no one has taken her up on that offer, since everything is so tasty. I am a regular here at this point and they have even started teaching me Korean. I would recommend only getting the one meat combo unless you are a serious eater. Every combo comes with a lot of food, including an egg roll, crab rangoon, and sometimes wantons as well. On special occasions she serves something she calls a Korean pancake, which seems like a light batter with a lot of vegetables in it. The Jap Chae noodles are fantastic! They are noodles made out of sweet potatoes. Her curry is different than Indian curry, but I love it. It has a thicker sauce that most Indian style curries and has a nice kick to it. If you have a few minutes to wait, then try some of the items off the menu. Bibimbop is all the best items cooked together in a bowl with a fried egg on top. Kimbop is like a sushi roll, but with beef inside. Kimbop also has some kind of pickled veggie that gives it a wonderful flavor. If you are feeling sick, then I recommend the seafood soup. It will clear out whatever ails you and you will have enough left over for another meal. The cucumber kimchee has some of the kimchee kick, but with a sweeter tang to it. The artichoke kimchee is the spiciest of her kimchees and is a great enhancer when eaten with some of her other items.

the review were right on point with this restaurant we loved it SO much food && the owner was so friendly i caynt wait to go back with the hubby in November ;)

Price and kim chee were definite pluses. As I am on an expense account, price isn't a big deal, but definitely helps. Had the ghalbi, beef bulgogi with Ja chaep noodles, along with the cucumber, cabbage and bean sprout sides.. The sides definitely made the meal. Halfway through, they brought out some veggie fry, a cream rangoon and a pepper fried roll. The veggie fry was excellent, the rest passable. The Ja chaep noodles were the best thing going for the cafeteria style eatery. I definitely should have read deeper into the yelp reviews and got a special of the day off the sideboards. I would eat here again but probably not on this trip.

As far as ethnic food goes, I finally discovered some hidden gems, and this is one. The food is fresh, spicy and delicious. No MSG here, the owner and chef is allergic. Try it, you won't be sorry. PS, prepare yourself for cafeteria style eating!

  • Pukar R.

Much to my dismay, this gem has escaped my palate for the past 2 years! Less than 3 miles from my house, this little restaurant is amazing. I had the pork bulgogi, cabbage kim chi and artichoke kim chi, side of some noodles, an egg roll and of course a heap of steamed rice. The bulgogi is as good as they come! I've been a long time fan of Korean food and I've tried many restaurants, and this ranks at the top 3 on my list. Everything is nice and spicy, and I'm talking white people spicy, I'm talking FIYAHHH! (JK, it's not THAT spicy) The second time I went (which was today), I had the pork kalbi. Delicious but a bit sweet for my liking. It's a 4/5 nonetheless. The bean sprout side dish was pretty good and definitely spicier than what I was accustomed to at the other restaurants, it was great! Overall, my meals cost me about $8.50 and I take out. The place is pretty small so it might get a bit crowded during lunch or dinner. You get a choice between fried rice/steamed rice and there are like 3 combos with each one getting an extra meat dish. I usually can't finish it all in one sitting so it makes for great left overs and she gives you a generous amount so I'm satiated even with my left overs. The owner and usually the server, is very kind and friendly as well. Bottom line: this place is legit!

3.5 stars This place came highly recommended to me by a korean acquaintance and after reading Pukar R. and Don P.'s reviews, I had to try it! I think I may have been expecting too much though with this one. Because, I wanted to sample a little bit of everything, I got the 3 meat combo, which is the biggest plate you can get. I chose their beef bulgogi, which tasted closer to beef jerky, their galbee (aka kalbi in hawaii!), which was cut thick (no!), drenched in their marinade and not burnt off enough, and lastly the beef curry, which is the best meat choice here! The beef curry is definitely their proudest achievement, seeing as how the woman helping me said "good choice, it is very good" a few times after picking it. The meat plate comes with either steamed or fried rice, unfortunately, it was kim chi fried rice... it also comes with long rice (cant decide if this or the curry was my favorite), a potatoe, a vegetable eggroll, a ragoon and a couple veggie choices. This place has a great friendly staff and definitely some potential to improve, if only they made your food to order..the quality of the food would go up and so would've my rating for this place.

Americanized Korean food. Yuck. The ban chan had Italian dressing as the seasoning. The food is as salty as the ocean. Korean food does not taste good when made in advance. Everyone knows that.

small ..but authentic. great selection..personable staff..reasonable prices... expect few customers leave hungry with this restaurant ..seating is limited so arrive early..for a great culinary experience.

Not impressed with the "buffett style" service. You pick a main dish from the premade selections of the day and then add rice or noodles. and I did not like the Kim bob at all. I will give it another chance before writing it off. I've eaten at the Korean House (right down the street) and the Bim Bim Bop is awesome there.

My parents are fans of this place, so they took us along for dinner last night after a somewhat rainy walk in Fontenelle Forest. My previous experience with Korean food is pretty much limited to kimchee and Korean carrot salad, so I have no idea how authentic the food here was, but I did enjoy it. I got the one meat combo with chicken skewers, which were really juicy and moist. Loved them! The fried rice was a little bit too oily for my taste - next time I'll go for steamed. For sides, I got some sort of spicy (very spicy!) noodle dish and mixed vegetables in vinegar dressing. The veggies were very good. She also gave me another noodle side, which I didn't catch the name of but liked a lot. I'm not a huge egg roll fan, but the ones that came with the meal were okay. The crab rangoon could have used a bit more filling. My parents had warned us that the owner almost always brought out more food and sure enough, a few minutes after we sat down, the daughter brought out a big, steaming bowl of potato and prime rib soup on the house. As I mentioned, we were wet from getting rained on at the forest and the owner thought we needed warming up. The soup was excellent, and is also available made to order from the menu. As you can probably guess from that, the owner is absolutely as friendly as can be - a really delightful woman with an obvious passion for food and cooking. She said she often brings out extras when things are quiet just because she loves cooking them so much! There are quite a few more interesting entrees and salads I'm interested in trying, so I'll definitely be back!

When I'm craving some good Korean food in Omaha at a reasonable price, I come here. The owners and staff are always super nice and friendly. And if you're taking out, they offer you a piping hot eggroll and cream rangoon, free of charge. Delicious, especially when you're waiting for your food and you're hungry! I definitely recommend the Kimchi soup, especially when you're feeling sick or under the weather. Thanks to Ajuma and her special superpowers of making awesome, spicy homemade soup, my cold was cut very short. Yum. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I've only been here twice, and it was hardly ever busy. (late afternoon/evening, around 6 or 7pm) I say give it a shot. Their menu can be a bit confusing, so just ask them for some clarification if needed. If you want the food made-to-order, it's best to get something from the side board rather than a combination plate, but expect to wait for it. But all in all, I'm pretty much satisfied each time I come here. Will definitely have to try the bibimbap, kalbi, and/or japchae next time.

Not really located in Omaha proper, this place can be a bit of a drive, but I think it's worth a trip every once in awhile. Came here with some friends for lunch and despite the cold, rainy weather I had a good time ^.^ haha. The food itself is authentic and tasty. Made me nostalgic for all the ayce kbbq places I've been to (although sad to say, this place was not all you can eat hehe). It's a small family business type place so we were served by the nice owner and she gave us wontons and eggrolls while we waited for the main dishes. I got the beef bulgogi and the tofu pancakes with white rice, kimchi, jap chae, and the pickled potato salad (? or w/e that is haha). It sounds like a lot of food .... and it was!! I was pretty stuffed after. The combo #2 (which is what I got, 2 entrees, rice, and 2 veggie sides) was about $10 which can be a bit pricey, but hey, it's Korean food in Nebraska. The tomato salad we got was also really good. I look forward to coming back eventually.

As a connoisseur of Asian foods, Korean Grill is as authentic as they come. We first discovered this restaurant after reading about it in the Omaha World Herald and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall out in Bellevue. Although the place is rather small with limited seating, it's food packs a huge punch. On the past couple of visits, I went with the classic bulgogi beef and chicken combos and was not disappointed. The portions were generous and came with pickled/cold vegetable side dishes. During each occasions, I heard many of the other visitors rave about the bibimbop, which is something I'll have to try next time. The owner apparently ran a restaurant for several years in Korea before coming to the Big O so the food is the real deal, and match that of the bigger cities. Highly recommended and fits the billing of a 5 star restaurant.

DELISH!! That is all. Soy/lime sauce... to die for. Crab ragoons. To die for.

Food quality is top notch with everything prepared from fresh ingredients daily. Authentic Korean food with NO MSG. I've eaten at the Korean Grill many times. The location next to the Game Shoppe is convenient for game players until 8pm. The value is superb for both quantity and quality. Presentation for the meat and veggies meal options is Americanized in that traditional Korean presenation requires lots of little bowls... so KG makes do with disposable plates. Dishes like Bi Bim Bop are in the traditional hot bowl and Kimbop or Beef Bul Go Gi are no different in presentation than you'd see in a working class restaurant in Korea. I take my kids in for Chicken on a stick and the owner always undercharges and my kids leave clutching some Korean sweet in their hands. The serve-serve beverages may seem a little homespun but if you let that distract you from the large variety of superb quality menu options then you are being petty. I think the Bi Bim Bop at KG is comparable with fancier places like Maru. You will not find any fusion dishes at KG but the lack of variety lets the owner/chef focus on the best Korean food in Eastern Nebraska. Specfically, what I think outshines all other Korean places is the large variety of vegetable dishes to include kimchees, shredded tubers and mushrooms. The owner is genuinely concerned that you enjoy your meal and are fully satisfied.

One of my most favorite restaurants in NE, I'm glad I found a place like this. Probably one of the most authentic korean as you can get in NE. They also make bibimbap, kalbi soup, and etc. The seating is kinda crowded but they take care of you if you are dining in.

Outstanding Korean food! Very friendly and helpful staff, but they won't take Won for payment.....

  • Matthew J.

Great place for a quick and traditional Korean meal. Friendly staff. You can either get made-to-order items or pick from several prepared selections. Prices are quite low for the large portions so arrive hungry or expect to take some home. Seating is extremely limited (6-7 tables) and usually full around lunchtime but you can always get a quick order to go. Not necessarily a 5-star restaurant but is the best at what it offers to the Bellevue/Omaha dining scene.

  • S. H.

Love love love this place! The food is always fabulous. The owner, Henim, is hilarious. She's super bossy about what you should order, and she's always right. If you're sick, she'll hook you up with the perfect curative soup. Bring your friends from out of town, they'll be impressed. If they don't want to come back to see you, at least they'll come back for Henim's cooking. Quick lunch? Get a Combo 2 ... you won't go hungry. And it comes with the tastiest crab rangoon and egg roll you've ever had. If you're feeling something light and amazing; call ahead for the fresh spring rolls, with the cilantro sauce. One issue: you might have to take your food to go. The restaurant is really small.

For Omaha-really great Korean food. For my expectations based on eating Korean food in different parts of the US? Left a lot more to be wanted. This is certainly a family owned business which I love. Its a small dining area, and the food is served ala carte style, with all the food sitting behind glass and you tell her what you want and she will load it into a plate or takeout container for you. I love the owner there, the ajumma is so cute and helpful. You can tell she is committed to giving her customers the best service possible and wants to share her cuture and food with the community. The pro's here is that they have a lot of variety of bon chon (those delicious pickled side dishes such as kim chee) and actually have a pretty extensive menu of korean dishes...as least for Omaha anyway. Ordering is easy, and getting your food is instantaneous. Great for a quick take out dinner or if you're super hungry and can't wait for food to be prepared. Service is great, and the portions are HUGE. The Con's are that the plate lunches/dinners run pretty pricy, a 2 combo meal will run you ~$13 after taxes, and you'll prob want to add tip if you're dining in. The food was authentic, but just not quite up to par to what you can find in other cities with larger Korean populations. Overall, a great spot to hit in Omaha if you want to try Korean food.

I absolutely adore this restaurant and the owner. I would come here everyday if it was so far from where I live. I love the casual atmosphere and how friendly the owner is. She cooks great and big portion foods. She is so cute and courteous to her customers, especially students. I think she has a soft spot for students because she knows we live on ramen budget lol. If you want most for your money here, get the lunch/dinner combo because they will stuff the plate with foods. However, if you want authentic Korean foods then order her Korean dishes and new items. I love the beefjun, bibimpop, Korean pancake, beef rib soup with rice and veggies, Korean spicey pork and seafood soup, ja ju meong and duk Bo ghi :) Any entree you order, she will give you crab Rangoon and spring roll. Absolutely love this place! I think I love the owner more!!!

My husband and I decided to swing in and give this place a try. We had never tried Korean and had no idea where to start. When we walked in the lady welcomed us and told us what everything was, she even told us what she thought we would like/ what she thought we should try.....and she was spot on. Everything was really good. TONS of food!!! I got a combo #1, which was one meat choice, but my box was filled with meat, rice, noodles, 2 vegetable sides, some potatoes and an egg roll and crab rangoon. There was a man sitting there waiting for some take out, and he said to us "this is the best, you guys will love it...I just moved here from Korea...this is the real deal". Not being familiar with Korean food, I can't compare it to other places, but it was really very good! We will be back! Very tiny dining room, we'll plan on take out when we eat here.

I love love love this place!!!!! I often cook my own Korean meals at home but when I'm on the run or want something I don't have the time/patience to make myself (japchae), I stop by The Korean Grill and I'm never disappointed! I usually get kimchi fried rice, pork bulgogi, and japchae. Try this place out! You'll be glad you did!!

I can't get enough of this place. I eat here at least 2x/week. And the owner is wonderful. She gives you a warm greeting as soon as you get in and fills you in on the specials for the day. The bulgogi and the choice of vegetables are to die for. Very welcoming little establishment right near Offutt AFB. Highly recommend!

  • Christine B.

My fellow Yelpers, you steered us in the right direction! A tiny little establishment located in a strip mall, the petite but fiery owner of Korean Grill makes you feel at home - so much so that we ate waaaaaay more than we should have because we didn't want to hurt her feelings by not finishing the generous lunch portions! We opted for Combo #1 ($8.99) which gets you one protein group (spicy catfish was amazing), rice, noodles, potato and two pickle options AND the Combo #2 ($10.99) which gets you two protein groups (beef bulgogi and Korean short ribs were quite tasty), rice noodles, potato and two pickle options. They also have some items on the menu (posted above), but since it was our first visit, we opted for the point-to-food method of food selection. All food is served on styrofoam plates (or boxes, with a pretty robust carry out business). BTW, while the above dishes come with 2 pickles, somehow we ended up with a (separate) plate of ALL of the pickle options, which are homemade. The cabbage kimchee and pickled daikon radish were my favorite, but as my food baby can attest, I was also quite keen on the eggplant, kale, and bean sprout options. Food baby so happy. Nap time for mama now.

This was our first visit here and we are kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner! The woman who runs it was so welcoming and helpful. They have a full menu but it is mostly set up for the one, two or three meat combos. It is laid out buffet style but she loads your plate and describes all the options. There are about 8 meat options and 10 salad options. Everything we chose was delicious - especially the beef bulgogi and the chicken skewers. For our salad options we picked some great stuff as well including a killer tomato basil salad & the pickled daikon radishes. We can't wait to go try more items.

My dad and I go there just about every week and the food is always so flavorful. It's hard to find good, authentic Asian food and this is the best locally in Bellevue.

This being the first time I've had Korean food I was a little apprehensive since i didn't know what anything was. The lady behind the counter was so helpful in explaining the dishes and filling my plate with samples of various sides. The pork bulgogi, ribs, and sweet potato noodles were my favorites. A handful of the cold salads she gave me samples of I wasn't crazy about, but that's probably more due to the flavors being unfamiliar to me than the food itself not being good. I'll definitely be back for the amazing service and my new found favorite ribs!

  • Dwight D.

Wow! Was NOT disappointed. Food was excellent and flavorful. First time visiting to Omaha area and decided to give this restaurant a go. Lady behind the buffet was very friendly and patient as she explained all of the offerings. Everything looked so tempting, but had to narrow it down to two meat selections. Not a large place, but the food is worth the drive.

This place is awesome. It is a nice and cozy shop right in Bellevue. They have so many different foods to choose from, which I believe changes on a daily basis. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful when we asked her for recommendations. We split a #3 combo, which comes with 3 main dishes, 2 sides, an egg roll, and a crab rangoon. We tried the chicken skewers and the beef. Both were really delicious. The only two downsides to this place are that it is kind of expensive and they won't let you get two of the same main dishes for your combo. Other than that, I am a total fan. I can't wait to come back again.

Korean food is one of my biggest loves in life. It's something that I can't get enough of and coming from Hawaii, I have eaten a lot of it. I wonder why there aren't more korean places in Omaha because it's so far to drive out here from downtown omaha. Upon walking in, I already take note of how welcoming and polite the ajumma or "aunty" in korean is that owns the place. I'm familiar with the sort of cafeteria-style layout they have. Very similar to korean spots I frequent back at home. (See here: yelp.com/biz_photos/yumm… And Here: yelp.com/biz_photos/pepp… ) Although the big difference here is that the meats are not made to order which as a another reviewer already said, would make a huge difference. I also agree that the char on the meats was not quite perfect. The quality I think goes down a lot when they're sitting out all day. I ordered the bulgogi and the kabli (Combo #2) which came with 3 side dishes or "banchan": I got seaweed, beansprouts, and japchae [sweet potato noodles]. The flavors while authentic lacked that depth of flavor that I'm used to back at home, especially the banchan. I'm definitely used to my banchan packing more of a punch. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the kalbi which was very fatty and didn't have the carmelization that I like on my kalbi. The bulgogi was a little on the tougher side as well, I suspect from sitting under heat lamps all day. All in all, I appreciate this little hole in the wall korean place and would go back. It's definitely not the same korean food I'm used to back in Hawaii, but it's authentic for sure. Some of my korean friends in Hawaii complain that Hawaii korean food is too sweetened, maybe its because I'm so used to those flavors? Or perhaps it's due to the fact the owner doesn't use MSG? I read that in someone else's reviews. Nevertheless, I'd come here again. But I'd probably try to go maybe earlier in the day when the items are fresher.

What an awesome meal! Four of us went in for a Saturday lunch. The owner took the time to explain what each dish was and what the combos consisted of. The food was fresh, well made, hot things hot, cold things cold, and everything well seasoned. "Homemade" is an overused term, but it applies here. A two-meat combo had huge portions and is a bargain at under $12. The one meat combo easily feeds a hungry man and is a deal for less than $9. There are only about 20 seats inside, but takeout is a big part of the business. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want amazing Korean food!

This place is awesome!!! If I've had better Korean food, I don't know when...and I use to live in Korea! The portions are huge, the selection is amazing and the staff is friendly and outgoing.

I love this place. It's in a cute little nook that I just found this last year. The prices are reasonable and the food quality is great. I especially love the galbi and beef bulgogi. The owner is the sweetest little lady and the side dishes are legitt.

Amazing food, and the nicest little korean lady behind the counter. My experience with korean food is limited, but the food was to die for. Beware the combo 3 as i am a big guy and on an empty stomach could barely handle the combo 2. The only downside is there is limited seating.

Came here with my five year old daughter on a lunch date. We shared the combo 2. This was plenty of food for two people. My daughter mowed through our meal. The nice lady/owner let us try a few things to make sure my daughter would like it. That wasn't a problem as my daughter loved everything we got. I would recommend this place to anybody who likes Korean.

I've been here twice and it has been really good both times. Owner is so sweet and kind, plus good sized portions for what you pay. Had the number two combo and it's a great deal for 11$. All the food is well prepared and full of flavour. Atmosphere is great, it has a small home feel with only a few tables so at lunch you better hurry or you'll have to get to go which is still great. Fresh rolls are amazing they are steamed spring rolls but you should order them In advance because they take about 15 minutes to prepare.

Great place to run by and grab some food to-go without a wait. Prices is higher than a typical lunch spot, but definitely worth the extra dollar or two. I always have more than enough food! You can't leave this place hungry. Kim bop is my favorite, but call ahead because it takes 15-20 minutes to prepare.

The lady running the place couldn't be any more friendly and helpful. I love the variety and side dish options. Seems like a fair price for Korean fast-food as she serves you good healthly portions. I would suggest some minor tweaks to some of her dishes, i.e. the karbi is sitting in some sort of gravy, that is not a traditional Korean preparation. She should make that dish fresh to order. Also, the bean sprouts have a strong hint of cilantro, that flavor is not common in Korean food. At least I didn't grow up eating anything with cilantro. Overall very good Korean comfort food.

I really enjoyed Korean Grill. The owner is nice and there are a variety of options. There are a few combos: #1 (1 protein group/2 sides/rice + noodles/eggroll + crab rangoon) $8.99, #2 (2 protein groups with the same) $10.99, and #3 (3 protein groups) for $14.99. Price and value wise, I like Korean Grill much more than Maru Korean food. I got the #3 because I'm fat. I got the beef bugolgi, pork, and then this chicken on a stick (almost like a kabob). All of them were tasty (I think the pork was my favorite). The crab rangoon was better than average. They didn't deep fry it as long and there wasn't a ton of cream cheese in there. I also liked the egg roll. All in all, I really liked Korean Grill. I think it's a great place to go if you want to check out Korean food for the first time in Omaha due to their multiple options. One note is that the restaurant is quite small so you should plan accordingly. I will definitely go back there.

This is a great little secret! The food is freshly made and the menu is accommodating. The owner is excellent at describing dishes to people who are new to Korean food (my husband being one). Flavorful, colorful, and just good! The restaurant is small and casual. During lunch, it is hard to get a table. I recommend getting your meal to-go. But, if you do stay, rest assure that you'll be taken care of.

This looks like any other strip mall Korean joint at first, but the quality of food and character shine through the mandatory initial menu items and small seating area. A short talk can unlock tasty treasures and gems of stories. Everything is good, but the bibimbap, potatoes, soups and egg rolls are fantastic. $10 for lunch may seem high, but these portions include leftovers for dinner or tomorrow's lunch. Henim's generosity has even resulted in my entire lunch going straight to takeaway after she filled me w/ complimentary appetizers and samples after ordering.
