Good ice cream for a good price! I've only been once and I got the cookie dough twister! I got the small size and it was huge! I ate about half and was very full! I've been told that the food is pretty good but hadn't tried it personally. It's pretty outdated and old looking inside and out but it's the ice cream that counts! It's certainly likely I'll be back next time I go to Stella's for a burger or if I catch myself in Bellevue for something!

Dairy Twist... Let me start by saying the food and experience did not reflect the image the name gave me. we stopped in on a blizzard hit day in Nebraska. One of 3 guests in the place. The man behind the counter was obviously the owner and was happy to welcome us hungry worn out snow weary travelers. The menu was in the old school letter line board. A lot to take in and one of those tough which do I choose menus. I just followed my friend and ordered the double cheeseburger with everything on it (Never lettuce on a burger) Onion rings, fried cauliflower and a drink. The burger was pretty darn good. Kind of a classic white bun. the meat was well cooked. diner style crispy edges with a good thicker grind of the meat. not seasoned at all. The cheese and toppings made this burger. I was very pleased it was not greasy enough for me though and could have dripped a bit more. the onion rings were a very very cripsy. and the fried cauliflower was great. Would go again and I loved the small homestyle family feel of the place

This place has been in Bellevue for over 30 years and I've been driving by it for almost that long. I finally decided to stop in for a bite to eat for dinner on a Tuesday in April. I ordered a Hamburger, a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, and a small basket of fries. The hamburger was very good and reminded me of the really good burgers you used to be able to get at the fairgrounds before they became commercialized. Pork Tenderloin was good. They're supposedly famous for it, but I found it to be an average pork tenderloin sandwich. You won't be disappointed if you order it, but you won't be blown away by it either. Fries were good. They're crinkle cut fries (you can also choose curly fries) that were frozen and from a bag but they're fried fresh for you and taste good. Overall, food is good and cheap too. I wanted a shake made from regular ice cream (they call it hard pack ice cream), but they will only make shakes from soft serve. That was disappointing to hear. A traditional milkshake made from standard "hard" ice cream blended with milk is far superior to a soft serve shake. I settled for a small soft serve vanilla cone. It was good. Service was friendly and attentive. You order at the counter and then sit down and they bring your food to you. Restaurant is a little rundown, but is clean. I suppose that's part of the charm

Definitely a good time! Great staff. There is always water available by the cash register. The dining area is always nice and clean. Clean bathrooms- a great experience every time!

The dairy twist just feels like that place in high school where you just run into a bunch of people you know on a Friday night before/after the game, or in the middle of the day during the summer break. It seems like every small town has one, and even though high school is behind me this place just has that feel. The menu is limited to what you'd expect at Dairy Queen plus a few sandwiches I wasn't expecting to see (sloppy joe, prime rib sandwich, BLT, grilled pork sandwich, tacos, taco salad, and a few others). This place is what it is, a hang out and gathering a people with plenty of fried fare options and soft serve ice cream. So as long as your expectations aren't too high, and your more concerned about the company your with than the food quality, this is for you.

We came here this past weekend and ordered curly fries, a hot dog, and a hamburger. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Although the place is clean, it could use some updating. In terms of food, everything was pretty OK. The hot dog was pretty good as was the burger. Unfortunately, the curly fries were not good at all. Given that there are a lot better places to eat in Bellevue and this place wasn't anything special, I most likely won't be back.

The food is really just ok. I don't think anything is really "homemade." I get the feeling a lot of the food comes pre-seasoned (pre-packaged). The fries are def frozen fries... not fresh. The ice cream... is ok. I mean it is 3x the price of McDonald's and the taste doesn't convince me to pay the extra money. I do like the fact that a non-chain is offering drive-thru service. My husband on the other hand... loved their philly's but stopped going here BECAUSE the young man at the window was a douche.

I've driven by Dairy Twist now for many, many years. Finally, Tuesday night, I decided to make the jump and give it a try. I ordered a hamburger and curly fries, and my kiddo ordered a hot dog with regular fries. We ordered at the front counter, and around 5 minutes later our food was brought out to us. We were both impressed. The hamburger was the best burger I've had in awhile. The curly fries were a tad greasy, but they're curly fries! They are supposed to be delicious. I took a small bite of my daughter's hotdog, and it was pretty delicious as well. I didn't try the ice cream, and regretted. So, last night, I invited a friend to Dairy Twist. We both had vanilla malts. She was less than impressed, but I thought the malt was amazing! I will for sure be going back!

Those are definitely tasty and mouth watering fresh toppings on that cheeseburger. There was no time wasted biting into the paper unwrapped burger from a real drive thru restaurant. It was also a novel experience to see slushy on the menu.

I've never tasted the food here. Only the ice cream! They have the best cotton candy ice cream I've ever tastiest, I could literally eat it until I'm sick! It had actual chunks of cotton candy pieces in it! AMAZING!!!! I go there often just for that specific Ice cream.

Great homey ice cream and grill place! The cheeseburgers are delicious - definitely not your typical fast food burger. I've been eating the burgers for a long time now and find it difficult to order anything else. The flavor the burgers get from the grill can't be found anywhere else - you have to try one! All the toppings are freshly sliced every day and help compliment any of the sandwiches. The hand breaded pork tenderloin, hand sliced prime rib sandwich, and steak/cheese are also among the favorites.

An awesome, locally owned ice cream and grill type restaurant. The ice cream is delish, the taco salad is great and the chili cheese dog is simply the best ever. I have been going here 30 years and I have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is clean and the service, usually provided by local teenagers, is always efficient and friendly.

This is a great place. Excellent food, excellent service & the ice cream & slushies are amazing! The best taco salad in the area! Family run and it shows.

I'm giving this place only 3 stars because of the service my boyfriend and I recieved. The food is excellent. Tastes fresh, down home, home made. But there is girl there who is like, extremely phony and she's the type of person who'd spit in your food when you're not looking. She's very snobby and very unprofessional.
