This is thin crust pizza at its finest! This little locally-owned mom and pop pizza parlor is just off Broadway and worth the trip! It reminds me a lot of what the Happy Joe's of my childhood was like. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious and would be great for a family night out or even a birthday party. While the clown-filled section of the restaurant is certainly not my favorite, the pizza was a good distraction. They even serve root beer floats! I don't get to Minot very often but would go again if in the area. I recommend for locals or those passing through!

I ordered a take out medium thin crust sausage pizza from sammys about a month ago. I would hesitate to call it anything but mediocre. The reason for the low score is the price at $17 for this pizza. A frozen pizza would have tasted the same for less than half the price.

I love thin crust pizza. And to me this is excellent pizza. I have never ordered any other menu items but the pizza but I will in the future. I love the cheese that they use it tastes delicious. Their sausage is good too. It can get a little overpowering if you are hogging out but that would be my problem being a fatty, not theirs. Whenever people visit from out of the area, this is one of the places I make sure to eat at while they are here. Can't wait to try the lasagna.

I have ordered from here a few times and there are some positives and some negatives. First off, what kind off pizza place doesnt have a delivery driver untill after 5 oclock on a Saturday?? My main gripe here though is the prices. First time i ordered a medium pizza, some wings and chicken tenders and the bill was $40. The next time it was a large pizza, some chicken fingers and a pasta dish, $50! Then $50 again for two orders of pasta, chicken tenders and two side salads that were three bucks each for a little bit of lettuce, some chese and a couple of tomato slices. And the "italian" dressing was just oil with some pepper in it. And when i have ordered pizza it seems they are either scared or incapable of cutting the pizza crust all the way through so you are left to tear the pizza apart on the lines they have scored into the toppings. Now all that being said, there are some positives, the delivery guy has been very quick, much quicker than the hour they quote you when you order. The food isnt terrible, the pizza is decent once you get the pieces apart. Pasta was ok, but a major ripoff for what you are paying and for what you get. To be honest, given their prices and the delivery guy not being there till the evening, it wouldnt surpirse me to see this place close of they domt get their act together.

Pizza was decent, maybe I could have scored pizza higher, but I ordered a deep dish and ended up with a thin crust. The waitress was awesome, though.

Since moving here in July 2013, I have given Sammy's several chances. Unfortunately, even the excellent thin crust pizza can't make up for the steady decline in service quality since my first visit. Sorry guys but I think I'm going to have to find a new pizza joint.

Good little local Pizza Shop. They offer a buffet during the week and a very small salad bar every day. Fast and friendly service. Excellent fresh made Pizza. Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes were handmade and good, like you'd make at home. Chicken Strips are your standard frozen Chicken Strips. The Waffle Fries that come with it were really greasy. Great spot for Pizza! We'll def. go back! I posted pics, check them out!

I haven't lived in Minot for about 25 years but every year I visit and I always make an effort to get to Sammy 'a for a pizza. Sammy's is a thin crust pizza lover's heaven! What they serve up is on par with the best pizzas in NYC such as Grimaldi's in Brooklyn. Cracker thin crispy crust pizza is the house specialty so do yourself a favor and enjoy a real classic east coast pie right here in Minot, ND of all places. The Hawaiian Pizza with Canadian Bacon and pineapple is my favorite but they have many other options and the use real mozzarella cheese, great sausage, pepperoni and other toppings as well.

We came in for lunch on 2 separate days. The first day we felt like we were bothering them by being there. The second we decided to sit down and have the buffet wow there was some good options on the buffet like ribs, pizza, soup, salad, fried chicken, and some other things. The Pizza was served in tiny slices that were hard to scoop off the pizza pan. The ribs were covered in what I felt was store bought BBQ sauce. The only thing that we felt was good about the dining experience was the fried chicken. The chicken was the last thing put out onto the buffet bar and if we had known it was going to come out we would have probably would have had more. My suggestions to them. Clearly mark the items that are going to be placed out to inform your diners of what is going put out for the day.

Doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside is a nice quaint pizzaria. It has a children's play area for families. The pizza is good, better than fast food pizza. The pizza is normally thin crust and I think you can pay extra for thick crust. Although, it does take a little while for them to cook it. I do like the variety of toppings and cheeses to choose from.

The House Special should be named the Awful House Special. Filled with ground meat, they avoid putting real pizza toppings on it but make it look fat. This is not the worst pizza I have ever had but it's close.

Wonderful local pizza place. My favorite in town and beats all of the chains hands down. I love their pizza, but not the price and that's the only thing keeping me from 5 stars. The buffet is the best value. Buffet has pizza, fried chicken, pasta, and basic salad bar most of the time.
