This cute diner is adorned with nostalgia from entertainers and celebrities. There are replicas of gold records recorded by Elvis. The root beer floats were great but only 3 of us got to drink ours from a glass mug. My husband had to drink his out of the metal canister they use at the soda fountain for making malts! Very odd that they ran out of mugs. We ordered the German meal- fried potatoes, sauerkraut and sausage. Also had doughy klepna. Everything was stirred together, potatoes needed seasoning, sauerkraut was not flavorful and the sausage was all sliced up like a hot dog. The meal was hearty though and maybe this is how it is supposed to look and taste.

Cute mom and pop diner but the food is average. Club sandwich and fries and a chicken salad were nothing to rave about. Friendly service, cheap prices, and good specials.

Fun settings and a good place to hear how the local German dishes are pronounced since they yell out the orders in the kitchen. The food is good and I like that it is different. I tried the Knoephla (spelling?) soup and the cabbage rolls and I really liked them.

Brak likes food. Brak is generally very generous with his reviews, perhaps too much so when I peruse my ratings history. Well, this one will bring my average down a bit. This place served me the worst excuse for edible food I've been served in a restaurant in some time. We stopped in here for lunch on the way out of town, and somehow I decided on the chicken fingers as being a "safe" choice. OMG, these formerly frozen, rubbery, tasteless little disasters made Chicken McScraggs seem like a Gordon Ramsey delicacy. I want to puke just recalling how horrendous this crap was. Whatever was served on the side was equally offensive. I was starving so I forced most of it down, but it was one helluva challenge. Avoid this place like the plague.

I was surfing in the internet when i accidentally saw the website of Kroll's Diner. I was amazed with their menu and promos. So i decided to try it. I never get disappointed. The food is good as I've seen it. Everything on the menu is so mouth-watering! Just like you've said. :)) Very delicious food in very affordable price! The crews and waiters are very friendly. They didn't get us disappointed. You know what, as i do this review, i decided to go back here again! Can't wait to SIT DOWN AND EAT at Kroll's Diner again! They deserve 5 stars!

With Krolls you have about 4 choices where to eat. Eat here, this one has the old fashioned outside train look. Food is good prices are very good. I usually came and had a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie with ice cream. Price of pie 2.75! Enjoy good diner food in bismarck nd. Best pie I could find during the 3 years I lived in Bismarck, ND. But not the best ever or top 5 pies ever.
