Food is delicious, best in town. But, we just went there and the door was locked on a Saturday at 6pm. Closed for good?

Food was fantastic, and quick! The service was also great and genuinely friendly! I can't wait for the next time I'm in jamestown! only complaint was the rude lady next to us that told them to turn down the music( it wasn't loud) I just hope people like that don't discourage them from playing it! I would hate to hear some lame pop station next time I go in!

The only authentic Mexican restaurant in Jamestown. Service is a little slow, but the food is worth the wait.

Craving Mexican? You should come here! Very authentic food. I had the Camarones Rancheros, and loved it. Wife had the enchilada & Chili Rellenos combo and liked it, but was not overly impressed. Full Bar, a few nicely placed TV's showing sports... And the chips, salsa & guac side was excellent and the kids menu had plenty of options... Lots on the menu here to explore too! Worth the stop & I give it 5 stars because I think this is probably the closest you can get to the border while in Jamestown, North Dakota! Gracias!

Literally the first thing I noticed about this restaurant was it definitely sticks out in the neighborhood, in a good way. I'm in Jamestown for work and noticed the front because of its bright colors as I was driving through town during the work day, and thought it a bit odd that there would be a small Mexican place in such a small town in ND, of all places. I decided to give them a try for dinner as they are less than a block from my hotel and based off of the reviews I found, and it lived up to the rave reviews. I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and hello and was knocked back by the quality and freshness of the chips they bring you to start you off. Straight from the fryer warm and made from corn flour, they were definitely a great way to start off my meal. As I munched away looking at the menu, I was pleased by the variety but not overwhelmed by too many choices. I decided on the Fiesta Fajita as it has a good cross sampling of the various meat they make there; steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, and carnitas. Let me just say that the amount of food you get for the amount you pay is amazing! Definitely a good value, but just because they heap the food on you for a decent price doesn't mean the quality suffers at all. I immediately started picking at the various meat included in my fajita, and I was nearly floored by the quality of their carnitas! Their steak, chicken, and shrimp were awesome too, and their chorizo is also definitely very good with a distinct and pleasant flavor and aroma to it, but their carnitas was a real show stopper! It is so tender it will fall apart on your fork and will melt in your mouth it's so delicious. The service was also excellent. My order was taken as soon as I was ready and my server got the hint that I'd need a bit of time with the menu and didn't try to rush me at all in ordering. My food came out pretty quickly, but it was also early in the evening on a Monday night and there were only three tables seated including mine. My food definitely came out as soon as the kitchen was done preparing it, though. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food at a value price. I'm still amazed at how little I paid for what I got.

Stopped in for a torta while in Jamestown for business. The carne asada torta was really good! Lots of onion and jalepeno. The only reason it's only four stars is because they have agua de jamaica on their menu but don't actually have it :( My waiter said it's too hard to get the flowers here. The next friend I have visit from Florida is going to have to bring a suitcase full!!! Service was great though, and everyone else's dishes looked really delicious! I'll definitely be back.

This place has some amazing Mexican food. If you're unsure on what to order go for one of the fajita choices. They are usually pretty packed so service will reflect how busy they are. Being from California, authentic Mexican food is a must have for me. This place make me feel like I'm home!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
