We peered sadly in the window since we were there on a holiday when the West Fargo location was closed, but happily we discovered this location downtown. I've been to some "famous" donut places (Voodoo in Portland, OR; Doughnut Plant in NYC). Sandy's is better, and half the price. Reminds me of some of the terrific little independent donut places in Los Angeles. Everything we tried was good, like the blueberry and the traditional. But the PB & J blew us away! I don't even like jelly donuts normally, but after taking a little bite of my husband's I had to go up and buy a whole one for myself. Good coffee, too.

The service was friendly with a bright smile that propelled me to order more than the cup of cider I originally went in for. So good job there. The shop had space but was surprisingly busy at 9:25. I'm not really a donut person so the rating reflects that. But everything was fresh and clean. So if you do like donuts this might just be your 5 star go-to-shop.

It would be rare for me to meet a donut shop I didn't like. I mean, they're donuts! The downtown Sandy's is a nice alternative for those of us who do not live or work in the vicinity of their original West Fargo location. Location aside, this Sandy's is a very nice looking place. A very classy donut shop. It doesn't have as much seating as the West Fargo location, but for this downtown real estate, it has plenty of space. Nice decor, nice furniture. And of course the donuts. I thought the options might be a lot more limited at this shop but I was wrong. They still have so many choices that it is difficult to decide. I did not pay any attention on this visit to other food and drink options. I recall several beverage coolers to the left when I was in line, but I couldn't tell you much about them. Great job Sandy's Donuts!

This is a GREAT place to grab a doughnut! They are made fresh daily and seem to always have character in every different type of doughnut they make! If you want a tip: I recommend getting your doughnut here and then head to Stumbeanos coffee house, which is on the back of the block and about half way up the block! There coffee is grand! And when partnered with an amazing Sandy Doughnut, you have perfection!

I was on a low carb diet, then Sandy's opened it's downtown location. Their sweet treats are melt in your mouth perfection. They are always busy and I love that they are open till 10 pm Mon - Sat. It's nice to have another place downtown where you can sit with a friend and talk about that extra mile you'll need to run after your treat. It's worth it. Staff is amazing!!

My coworkers seem to love these donuts. There is a box of them at my job about 3 times per week. They should really have a vegan donut, since it is downtown and I don't think I'm the only one who would enjoy it. They do serve good coffee (from Stumbeanos) with their donuts, so that's a plus. The price seems reasonable. From former Baker for 4 years, the donuts don't always look perfect, but they have a large variety.

Awesome donuts and service but FYI the number listed is wrong... this is for the West Fargo location!

A surprisingly good donut shop! I'm originally from the Northeast where Dunkin Donuts is king; Sandy's is a cut above the huge chain, featuring a quality in their donuts and service that simply can't be matched by a huge chain. There's a good variety of donuts and a wide selection of drinks are available to wash those down like coffee, soda, milk, etc. (Try the Key Lime Bismark AND the Strawberry Bismark!) Sandy's is definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic old fashioned tasting donuts. Very clean and bright inside. The best was peanut butter and jelly. So much better than one I had from an over priced shop in Manhattan. Great flavor and not too sweet. Also had the basic sour cream old fashioned, cherry filled, red velvet and blueberry cake. We purchased 6 and went back for a 7th after eating a PB&J. Some were just as good the next day, so no need to finish quickly. Very yummy.

Yum!! Donuts are incredibly delicious, service is quick & friendly, and prices are very reasonable. I didn't notice anything other than donuts/similar desserts & a few beverages that were served at this location. I wish they had sandwiches at this location, but begers can't be chosers.
