I used to be a huge fan of this location until this evening. I work at a hotel just off of 19th Avenue and asked for delivery to my business for me and my colleagues. Jimmy Johns has been very accommodating in the past with driving the extra 20 feet beyond their delivery zone to get me my sandwich. However, the manager with whom I spoke tonight refused to "break policy" to deliver a sandwich to a loyal customer because I am a staggering 20 feet beyond their delivery zone. Interestingly, his excuse included the fact that "corporate worked really hard to come up with their delivery zone," so he just **couldn't** go against that. I explained to him that his business has been delivering to me frequently at my work without a problem, but he refused to hear me or help me. (Interestingly, I also live in an apartment building "just outside of the delivery zone" where everyone gets delivery all the time.) I would expect a manager to have the clout to make exceptions to these "strictly enforced rules" and deliver for a loyal customer 20 feet beyond said "zone." Instead, I have encountered a business where the rules are so disorganized and ill maintained that it unfairly prejudices clients. You just lost business from a huge group of hotel clients because you found it inconvenient to deliver tonight.
