I enjoy any time I go to Happy Joe's, whether it's when the buffet is available or just ordering off the menu. This is a real mom & pop kind of place, and generally the service is outstanding. Tonight was no exception, as the two workers who helped us at various times really seemed to love their jobs. The pizza is good. Do not expect any fancy or gourmet, but I still like it. It's great when the buffet is available (lunch and then Wed nights, I believe) as they have a ton of pizza options, in addition to the salad and comfort food bar. For the kids, they have a game room with a ticket system for prizes. They have some private rooms as well if you need to reserve a space for a group. Mondays and Tuesdays are great deals with their family night. You receive a large 3 topping or Taco or Specialty pizza AND four beverages for $18.99. With tax and tip, you're talking about $23 or so. A great deal.

Great price for all you can eat buffet only thing I wasn't pleased with today was the taco pizza it had a fun taste to me don't know if they changed the recipe or not but it was not edible for this girls pallet. Service was exquisite everyone is always so friendly.

They have a really awesome dinner buffet on Wednesday nights from 5-8pm. Lots of variety when it comes to the pizza and they also have a salad bar which I wouldn't expect much from. My brother in law truly enjoyed the dessert pizzas. They also serve ice creams as well. In back of the restaurant they have an arcade. The games are great but the trade off for the tickets isn't really desirable.

Had the lunch buffet yesterday and enjoyed the variety. Especially the taco and BBQ chicken and canadian bacon and sauerkraut pizza. Could improve the dessert pizza.

One of the happiest memories of my childhood was going to Happy Joe's in Minot, so when we were staying in a nearby motel, I convinced my husband we had to eat here! I was really sorry I did so, because the pizza was not quite as good as I remembered, and the service was abysmal. Hopefully this is just a problem with this particular location and not the chain in general, but my husband had such an unhappy experience that I doubt he'll ever set foot in another Happy Joe's again to find out!

Not sure how to really rate pizza joints, since most pizza is pretty good. I will say this. Taco pizza from Happy Joe's is a must if you go here. They have a great buffet if you really want to sample all that they have to offer. Definitely a recommendation for grabbing some pie in Fargo.
