This place is a local staple for some reason. The food here is overly greasy and they seem to prioritize quantity over everything else. The interior is dated, just like the menu. Despite that, you will be waiting if you try to get a table for brunch. Skip it and go somewhere else, there are much better places to eat.

Fryin pan....got here aprox. 10:30am. My nice is in town for soccer. We needed a table of 9. We where seated pretty fast even though there was a line.( church). Another table of 8 is seated right in front of us and reseved prompt service. The server walked passed us and ignored us 4 times befor finaly taking our order. It now is 11:52am and we still have not gotten anything other then coffee. We have two 14year olds and a 9 year old that are starving....lets see how much longer...oh yea, the table. Is super wobbly, our 9yr old already had a glass of water spilled.. Got our food...very good and it all came out at the same time...thats nice. it was wolfed down

I made the mistake of coming here sober (at 2 am). I ordered the Crispy Chcken Wrap. The chicken was fried but not worthy of the title "Crispy". I believe it was supposed to come with pepper jack cheese. It did not. I actually do not know WHAT kind of cheese it was. Perhaps shredded cheddar wanna-be? It did not melt like a real cheese would, but also did not stay shredded. It made me nervous to eat.... Once I avoid the cheese it was alright doused in ranch dressing. My boyfriend got one of the breakfast combos which was obviously a safer bet. He complimented the hashbrowns. I will probably be back due to the proximity to my home and, if for nothing else, the comedy of dining nearby other drunk groups. When I return, i will do my best not to be there sober ;)

I thought this place was good. I got a skillet and pancakes. Was good. I would give this place 8.5-10 scale. Was inexpensive as well.

Very friendly service. Good, competent breakfast. We went as a large group (8 or so) and they handled us well, even when another three people joined us late in the meal. Servers were very friendly and didn't mess up on anything. LOTS OF MEAT!

I love a good authentic diner that reflects the community it serves. You'll love it too. THE GOOD - Giant booths that would hold 8 diners. They sat just the two of us there which was great. We spread out our laptops and could work and eat at the same time. - Free WIFI - with a fast connection. - Friendly service from a local young teenage gal who looked like she was farm raised with that spirit of ND authenticity both in accent and in mater of factness that I enjoy. - Coffee. They put a pot on the table for us right of the bat. I like that. - Ice water. Big tall glasses! - Price - Good to great. - Serving size - Good to great. Hashbrowns were perfect. More bacon with my special than I was expecting. Maybe 5 or 6 pieces. That never happens. - Clean. Maybe a bit dated interior. I like that in my diners. THE NOT SO GOOD - Scrambled eggs. I usually get my eggs scrambled at new places because I like my eggs over medium (not over easy) and I rarely find a diner that can do this right. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs were kind of chopped up like chopped chicken in little pieces. What's up with that? - Pancakes. Ordered the pancakes as a side with my special. Like most diners they came out on a separate plate - 2 large massive cakes. Unfortunately, they were dry, tough to cut through like they were made out of foam rubber. Probably, the worse pancakes I've had at a diner. They really need to rethink this recipe or cooking procedure. I read someone else's review who had the same experience so it's not just a fluke. Seriously, don't order the pancakes or if you do, then go ahead and send them back so they get the message. All in all, we enjoyed our first visit and are a fan!

The slowest service I've received in a long time- possibly a reflection of a relaxed ND attitude. Food was average

An iconic eatery in the Red River Valley. Good homemade eats, and also good people watching after bar-close. Open 24 hours! For all you sweet-tooth people, the Mud Pie will make you scream after first bite.

This place isn't anything fancy, but its a Fargo staple and its a nice place to get a simple breakfast with bacon and eggs. I think the key here is to go with a baked good. Get yourself a Pie or a gooey cinnamon roll and you be pretty happy about it.

We LOVE our breakfast food. This place delivered. Greasy spoon diner PERFECTION. Waitress was a vet. Had been there 16 years and still treated us like family. Had the steak and eggs the steak was cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy. The rest was also really good. You have to try their Carmel nut rolls...big enough for 2 for sure. We got our food super fast, with the most friendly service I've had in months if not years, and I am in the service industry. Overall a really good breakfast joint to hit when in Fargo.

Was in Fargo for a wedding and this was only the breakfast place I found on yelp that wasn't the IHOP. Friendly service and good solid food. My biscuit and sausage gravy was probably the best I've had! Moist biscuit with yummy gravy. Win.

This 24 hour diner is located right in the downtown Fargo area. The place just screams diner at you and I love it. The place is located in a little strip mall but it is very open bright and very clean, totally impressing me from my initial expectation. Our waitress was this friendly older lady and she took very good care of us and was very hospitable. I ordered the BIG bacon and eggs. Yes the bacon was the thick cut variety which i love so dearly. Everything was fresh and carried the right amount of grease to uphold their status in the diner category and not too much where it upset my belly. I was disappointed with the pancakes. They seemed to be a little on the dry chewy side. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast.
