PT’s Olde Fashioned Grille Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I travel all the time, so I make sure to hit the local places. PT's is DEFINITELY worth your time! Great and quick service. Told them I'd never been there before and they recommended the 8 oz burger, since it's basically the go-to for first timers. The burger was amazing, and the fries are excellent as well. Even better, you get a ton of fries, not just a handful like most places. There is a ton of outdoor seating, and while it's basic plastic furniture, it fits what this restaurant is all about. Cheap, basic food that is some of the best I've had anywhere. Even if you're in Wilmington for a day, make sure you stop by this place!

I have been coming here tons since moving down here last year. Never had anything to complain about ever, until now. Tonight I ordered a burger with fries and a side salad to go. 20 minutes later, I received my bag, looked inside and noticed there were two sides of fries, and no salad. So I asked about it and the guy looked at me puzzled, then didn't say anything and walked away. I sat back down, and 5 minutes later, I got my salad from a different guy. He apologized and made sure I had my dressings. I then got home excited for my burger, only to unwrap it and find a chicken sandwich with mayo (I hate mayo), and very charred I might add. Angry, hungry and frustrated, realizing they were pretty much closed by this time, I scraped off the mayo and ate it anyway. It was so overcooked, it was not very enjoyable. I think because it was later in the shift, that the staff just wasn't paying much attention. Even so, that's not okay. I've been a server in restaurants for 10 years, and never had something this disappointing happen, especially a place I love. I'm usually very understanding of mistakes, but this was kind of ridiculous. Please find a way to keep your orders straight pt's!

My boyfriend grew up visiting family in Wilmington and remembered loving this place. It was our first night in town and we were driving around and decided to come here. You walk in and place your order on a notepad. I like the concept because you can basically customize your order. I had chicken strips and fries and he had a burger. The staff was friendly but we're closing up since it was about 8:30. The chicken strips were good but the fries were too salty!! A little less seasoning and they would be great. Overall a pretty solid place.

P.T.'s is the essential Wilmington burger joint. There is nothing better than leaving the beach and getting a burger and fries. Speaking of the fries, they use lemon pepper on these beautiful little pieces of heaven. (Tip: put the lemon pepper on your burger)! My only complaint is the name of the smaller burger; when you hear "P.T.'s burger," you think that's the larger, but it isn't. I believe they have fixed the confusion though with burger ounces beside the items. I highly recommend this Olde Fashioned grille! Have fun, and happy eating!

This was my first time visiting PT's and I didn't know what to expect. We sat outside and ordered on paper slips and handed them through the window. In just a few minutes my burger was delivered. It was huge and delicious with a large portion of fries and a drink for only ~$9. Will definitely return next time I'm in the Wilmington area!

I went to PT's when I first moved down here and I've been visiting ever since. Whenever someone asks where a good place to eat around here is, I suggest PT's. Best burgers I've had and I'll definitely continue to come back for that delicious burger. "PT's is Love. PT's is Life."

  • Jeremiah A.

You simply cannot get a "old school" greasy spoon style burger anywhere else but here. Delicious. Huge helping of fries, a little peppery on the fries but still good. I know when I leave here I need a nap to go with my smile....

  • Lauren F.

I don't make it to the actual restaurants often but their food truck parks right outside of my office often and you get the same quality food and service. Great burgers, black bean burgers, chicken, and fries. I'm used to food truck prices being high but with them you get a sandwich, fries, and a drink for $8. Can't beat it.

Best burger in Wilmington! I stop by every time I come to town. Fries are great and they even have a side salad if you want to make it heather.

One of my fave local spots! If you're in the mood for chargrilled food and fresh cut fries, this is the spot. Everything from the P.T. Olde fashioned burger, grilled chicken sandwich, split grilled hot dog, or a veggie burger or grilled chicken salad is cooked to order. You'll fall in love with the fresh cut fries with their garlic lemon pepper seasoning and the fresh squeezed lemonade. There's something for everyone here and you won't be disappointed. Just walk in, pick up a pencil and circle what you want, grab your drink, sit and relax until they call your name and deliver your food. I'm sure it'll become one of your favorites too.

My first visit to PTs but not my last. Strap on your lumber jack appetitive for the 8 oz Olde Fashioned Burger. It is huge and tasty. The fries are homemade and good. Service was extremely attentive for a restaurant on any level. Give it a try!

  • Hank H.

Great burger. Cool setting. Very classic and hip "beachy" feel.

    (5)
  • Amber H.

Great fries, good burger, and excellent lemonade. Real potatoes and real lemons to serenade my angus burger into my belly. They have a neat way to place your order, by checking the boxes on your personal order slip. Everything was made to correct modifications and yummy. The 8oz burger overflows between the grilled modest sesame bun. The staff was friendly as well of course.

  • Robert N.

I'm a big 4 star guy, you really have to impress me... And this place did it! The burgers were great, the fries were great, and the service was great! The only thing I don't like about this place is that now anytime I'm in the area... I'll have to make a special trip here :) Trust me, it's good food with a great atmosphere, give it a shot!

    (5)
  • Kramer L.

Had this about 7 years ago and it was just as good as I remember. This time I got the roast beef sandwich and it was easily one of the best sandwiches I've had and definitely the best roast beef I've had. Didn't disappoint!

It's rather surprising that I've never eaten at PT's as a Wilmington native, but I finally stopped by for lunch this past month. A friend asked me to meet her here for lunch and I ordered the veggie burger with standard toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. I thought the veggie burger was just okay, the burger would have been a lot better if the patty had been cooked more. I did like their seasoned fries. I dined indoors, but the shaded patio looked clean and comfortable.

  • Gina A.

This place came highly recommended for a good burger and so we went. We were not disappointed. REAL French fries, not frozen out of a bag. REAL grilled, NON-greasy hamburger that was cooked perfectly. Maybe not the healthiest meal I'll ever eat but damn it was good! And the staff was friendly and the service was fast. I'd eat there again in a heartbeat!

    (5)
  • Amber H.

I'm new to the area, and the state in general... But everyone raved about this place. Now I know why. Absolutely delicious. Stop by if you can, get the chicken tenders (they're perfect)

    (4)
  • Katelyn P.

This is a phenomenal joint! The burgers and chicken sandwiches are delicious and I love that they have vegetarian/vegan options! The fries are my favorite! Who would have thought to put lemon pepper on fries?! Although a lot of people I've talked to aren't fond of the lemon pepper, I think it's perfect! The way you fill out the form to order your food is a great idea! Our order is never wrong! Oh and the lemonade is great too!!! Love this place!

    (5)
  • John R.

Do yourself a favor and eat here immediately. They don't really need the extra business, but you need these burgers and chicken breasts, fresh and hot off a REAL grill. Awesome

    (5)
  • Scott K.

Awesome service! I was blown away by how friendly the staff is! This place is well worth the stop!

    (5)
  • Carmen B.

Best burgers in Wilmington! No competition. I have been here multiple times and I am hooked. Love the fries and the way you order is very efficient. You will love P.T.'S!

    (5)
  • Tally B.

We stopped here on the way home from the beach. Best burger I have had in a long time... I added the grilled mushrooms which were fresh and tasty! The fries are very good although mine had to much seasoning sprinkled on. You order at the counter but have to return to the counter to pay after your meal. This didn't work well for us as there was a big line when we were ready to pay!

    (4)
  • Franshesca C.

Best burgers you will find in the Wilmington area!!! Get my fix of PT's almost once a week :)

    (5)
  • Terry S.

This is a simple review. It's good. Eat here. They have real food, for real people, at a fair price. Burgers are amazing, Turkey sandwich is to die for, and the fries are legendary. I've been eating here regulary since 1992 and haven't been disappointed yet.

    (5)
  • Adam P.

Classic, local, burger joint with some awesome additional healthier items like the turkey sandwich or the chicken sandwich. The fries are sinfully delicious and sprinkled with a seasoning salt. Great, quick, casual spot for a good burger or sandwich and fries.

    (4)
  • Paula E.

Thanks to my Yelp family, we discovered this place after arriving in Wilmington. What makes this place different is you don't actually pay until after you eat! They want you to be happy with your meal and if you aren't they will recook it. Both Mike and I enjoyed large burgers, with fries and drinks. We sat outside while 70's music was playing. It was the perfect meal for us and needed no seasoning whatsoever. I wouldn't hesitate to return when we are in the area again. Cooked to order, pleasant wait staff, not much decor but not really necessary. They do everything right!

  • Kristin S.

Love love love the fries and chicken sandwich. I like you get to put what you want on Tue sandwich. I'm not huge into burgers but I've heard from many people their one of the best. Worth checking out.

  • Tessa M.

This is by far my favorite burger place. I moved from Wilmington 10 years ago and still crave this place. Finally took a trip back to Wilmington recently and immediately went to this P.T.'s. To my delight, it is still the same. The fries are made fresh as is the lemonade and both are delicious. It is so easy to order - fill in the boxes on the pad of paper when you walk in. Great casual eatery.

    (5)
  • GJ S.

I never thought I'd bother to review a burger joint much less give one 5 stars. Here is the how and the why. When you walk in grab a card off of the counter for each order you will place. The card allows you to customize the burger or other menu items just how you want it. The burger charbroiled and cooked all the way through. Highly recommend you choose the lemonade to drink as it is made fresh. The bun is toasted and comes complete with grill marks. The idea of going to McDonalds or burger king or even 5 guys with this place nearby is unthinkable. I am not sure how to quantify it other than to say it is a must visit if you are in the mood for fast food.

    (5)
  • Meerkat R.

If you're craving a burger and fries, do not go anywhere else. It's 5 times better than 5 guys or any chain burger place. It's nice to sit out on the patio, furnished with plastic lawn chairs and tables. No frills, nothing "special" just perfect burgers and perfect fries.

    (5)
  • Barbara K.

If you like Five Guys you will love PT's Grill. Great burgers and loads of delicious fries.

  • Jon S.

A couple of my best friends go to uncw and I make a point of going to pts grille every time I go to Wilmington. I always try to find hidden gem burger places and this is the best burger joint I've ever been to.

  • Emily T.

Typical burger place. It was cool that you got to fill out your own order card with exactly what you wanted. Lemonade is very refreshing on a hot day. Fries are slightly over cook which I don't really like but it has some Cajun seasoning that made up for it. Not one of my favorite places to go but not a bad place to have a quick lunch

    (4)
  • Ariel D.

I used to pass by this place all the time but after having tried it I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place actually was. The lemonade is fresh and refreshing and the burgers will leave you with a full belly. I have been back several times and each time I am greeted by friendly people to take my order (order is done on a notepad for guest to fill out).

    (4)
  • Ann T.

Very good. Cheerful staff..yummy!!! Ok. So today we are back for the second time. Been dreaming of these burgers for days.

  • Bruce K.

I came here because it was suggested by a friend who recently moved here. This is how it works, you walk in and to the right they have pads and that's how you order. Order what you want and then if you're taking out, stand, and if you decide to not take out and eat in they'll change that (which happened to us). I ordered the old fashioned burger, and not bad. It's simplistic. Shredded lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and then a sesame bun. I added chili and mushrooms with a side salad... But what I got was, no salad and no chili. However, they did graciously reimburse me and get me the chili (on the side) and the salad. So minus and plus points there. Overall, one thing I did wish they had was different type of cheese. I'm not a really big fan of american or jack, but it's not a big problem. One tip though to know is to keep the order simplistic, I just don't think you can get a lot of stuff on the burger without something going wrong. Other than that not a bad place for a burger and fries.

Great burgers, fries slightly over cooked, but edible. Vegan daughter gives garden burger thumbs up also.

    (4)
  • Karen N.

The hamburgers were juicy and full of flavor along with the burger were French fries also seasoned to perfection. The lemonade to die for. I will be making this a regular lunch spot

    (5)
  • Bert D.

It was as good as advertised. Big burgers, fries are awesome and the servers are all over you. My the kids didn't fight once. They were serious when the food came.

    (5)
  • John Mark I.

I had heard only great things about this Wilmington tradition. I like the concept of writing down your own order since I rarely trust waitstaff at a small place like this. My burger was prepared to order and I ordered pickles with my burger and man did I get a pile of them! The wait staff was great about refilling drinks but $1.25 to refill the lemonade seemed excessive and cost you guys a star. Not sure if it was just the Monday I was there but some of the cooking staff looked tattered and unclean. If they're just hanging out in the kitchen, do it somewhere else fellas. I liked the high tables and if it hadn't been raining cats and dogs, the outside eating area looked very inviting as well.

  • Brian P.

Great burger cooked perfect and freshest fries I've had in a long while! This place is off the beaten path a little which makes it have a local feel. Thanks yelp for the help finding it! I would definitely go back!!

  • Frank R.

First timers may be confused about the ordering process. Walk in or order at the window. They'll ask drink order first and get it while you're filling out your meal card. You grab the pad and pencil, mark whether you're eating inside, outside, or carry out, what you want to eat and condiments, and hand it to them. They'll call your name when it's done and hand it to you. Pay after you eat, either at the window or counter. The burgers here are absolutely amazing. The fries are good, but different. More like a fresh cut, skin on fry. Lots of salt in the burgers and fries so be aware if that matters to you. The lemonade is delicious and fresh squeezed, but no free refills. Soda only includes one refill for free. The price was a little more than I expected based on what yelp says, but not much more than a good fast food meal. It's worth the cost, in my opinion. 2 adults and 2 kids ate for $35.00

  • Sarah G.

Best burger in Wilmington. A trip to the coast is not complete without a stop at PTs. Order on orderpad at front of restaurant, counter staff will get your drink then bring food to your table. Pay on your way out. Rinse, repeat. If I lived in Wilmington this would be crazy frequent spot but alas my trips East are few and far between.

    (5)
  • Pierre T.

Came here for lunch today. When I walked in someone immediately asked us what drinks we would like. Our order was completed quickly. I had the PT Dog and lemonade and it was delicious! Every 5 minutes someone would come by and ask if we wanted refills so service was excellent. Definitely one of the best places to get a quick bite in Wilmington!

    (5)
  • Nicholas S.

A couple colleagues took me here for "man food" when I was visiting our Wilmington office and it did not disappoint. Orders were taken to include toppings and condiments exactly as preferred. A great greasy burger, grilled perfectly to slightly pinkish, was presented with all the toppings and heaping helping of seasoned fried. The lemon-peppery fries were a pleasant surprise - outstanding. Not for the calorie-counters, this is a great old-fashioned burger joint.

Yum!! Awesome burgers and fries. Made fresh. Staff is super attentive. Fries come with pepper on them. So delicious!

We found this place while on vacation using the Yelp app and the reviews are spot on. What a great burger. Lots of flavor and cooked just right. I am from the Midwest and we have good burgers but this was a great burger even compared to the places back home. I also enjoyed their lemonade which was refreshing. Very much enjoyed our visit.

  • Kathleen M.

Awesome, juicy burgers!! We had just moved my daughter into her dorm at UNCW and wanted a quick, local place for lunch. This was great!! The place was packed but we found a table outside big enough to accommodate all 9 of us. We placed our orders, got our drinks fast and had to wait a little for our lunch. No complaints, though. We expected to wait given that the outside and inside were filled to capacity. Loved the burgers and fries. My daughters had bean burgers and gave them high marks, too. Definitely on the "must-do" list when we visit Wilmington!!

  • Chris W.

Was in the area last week for the first time in 16 years and looked to see if this place was still open. Yep, fn sweet. Went there for dinner and got a burger, fries and lemonade. All were absolutely fantastic, just as good as I remember years ago. Next day went back with a co worker for lunch, both of us got grilled chicken, fries and lemonade, he loved it. Recommend getting malt vinegar to put on fries. Fries are always freshly cut and lemonade freshly squeezed. Both of us will be visiting again if in the area. Place is great for what it is, a burger and chicken joint.

When driving home from Wilmington, I wanted to finish off the day with a great meal. I went to P.T.'s Grille in search for it. P.T.'s really did make it a great meal. The staff was attentive, the ambience was great, and the food was fantastic!! P.T.'s offers things like burgers, hot dogs, and other simple sandwiches such as their grilled chicken. I got a B. L. T and it was delicious. The lettuce and tomato was very fresh, and the bacon was cooked just the way I like it. I also got a side order of fries. Just thinking about the fries makes my mouth water. You can see that they cut their own fries and it's not pre-made like McDonalds. I even watched the guy cut the potatoes. They were outstanding!! They were golden, crispy, and very well seasoned. Mmm Mmm Mmmm!!! Want some simple sandwiches and burgers? P.T.'s Grille will give it!!

    (5)
  • Sean S.

P.T.'s makes a mean burger. I have to say, the well salted/seasoned fries are just as good. Writing down the order yourself is a pretty convenient way to start a solid meal.

Great burger spot! Family friendly and the sweet tea and lemonade was delicious. Recommend visiting when in Wilmington!

Great little casual lunch spot for sandwiches and burgers. Everything was tasty, the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

  • Walter B.

Great experience overall... It wasn't cheap but it wasn't pricey either. Sandwiches included fries or side salad and a drink. Lots of varied sandwiches on the menu, 1/4lb-er, 1/2lb-er, veggie burger, black bean burger, BLT, grilled cheese, and more! Great fries, with a lemon pepper garlic seasoning on them, absolutely delicious, fresh cut fries. Burger tasted really good, like something you could get from a backyard cookout, grilled, not toasted, but grilled bun, really added a small amount of char that made it a great burger. Highly recommend this and I WILL be going back, sooner than later!

  • Glenn M.

if i eat a hamburger, i am going here. best in town. great chargrill taste. the fries are amazing, seasoned with a type of lemon pepper. i am told, from many people, they have great hot dogs. i just can't tear myself away from the burgers. i may have to get a dog to go. staff always makes sure your cup is full. not once have i had a bad experience here.

I love Pts! forget about 5 guys this place has the best fast burgers in wilmington. If youre an out of towner its the place to get a good burger. The fries are amazing I really like pepper so that extra kick goes well with my burger. You get to pick the toppings on your burger and they do have salads. Really its all about the classic pts burger; the beef is juicy and it always has that smoky grill flavor that you want in a really good burger. I always get the 1/4 pounder with bacon, tomato, lettuce and pepper jack. Can i tell you how much I enjoy this place ? I really love how the price is decent and you're never disappointed.

PT's is an institution in Wilmington - been here for a solid 20 years now. And, if a place has basically 8 items on its menu and it has been around 20 years, then you KNOW that it is good. As folks have said, the burgers are amazing - they cook over what resembles a massive outdoor gas grill, but it is inside. The burgers are charred the way that you might get them if you grilled them yourself. However, you also need to try the other sandwiches too. Everything is grilled, but the grilled turkey and grilled ham and cheese are absolutely sensational. Lastly, let me speak about the wonder that is the PT's hot dog. If you like hot dogs or have a kid who likes hot dogs, you MUST come to PT's. They have one of the best hot dogs that I've ever had - it reminds of the dogs that I would get at Tiger Stadium up in Detroit when I was a kid watching the Tigers play. It is meaty, probably twice as plump as what you get in the grocery store and it is grilled to perfection. They will happily cut it up for your child. PT's is one of my kids favorite restaurants anywhere. Two more tips: 1) You order on paper pads that are sitting on the front counter - just check the boxes for what you want. And, all sandwiches come with a drink and a side of very yummy, seasoned fries. 2) The lemonade is fresh made right in front of you. Seriously, they have a tub of about 100 lemons. If you get lemonade, they squeeze a couple right into your drink.

FABULOUS! I read the reviews on yelp, of course, and PT's Olde Fashioned Grille rated very high and was relatively cheap. Great Eats: Grilled hot dogs, hamburgers & fries. A very casual, inexpensive joint to enjoy with family and friends!

I was looking for a place to have lunch. After looking over all the great reviews on Yelp about how great pt's was I decided to try it out. Found out all the good reviews were right. If in the area don't pass this up for lunch!!!

Best burger in WIlmington, especially for the price. Cannot beat it. Small little place with a small menu but they have beer, burgers, fries, and some other similar food. What else do you need? I haven't had a bad experience here. Staff is young and friendly. 4/5 because I want them to add to their menu!

    (4)
  • Phillip S.

Their burgers are great and the seasoned fries are always hot and right out of the fryer. The fresh squeezed lemonade is amazing!

I was introduced to PTs by my realtor who has lived in Wilmington over 30 years. This is a great story...passionate local owners who work hard and you can see the enthusiasm with every employee. If you want to be a franchisee you have to work from the ground up. The system works right down to the love they put behind the food, ambience and customer service. I go to the 17th street location and always greeted with a smile....and the BURGERS! Jesus. I'm a burger snob and its a top 10 for sure (I've had em all from Le Tub in Fl to Red Coat in Detroit, In N Out, etc).....Even better, they are #1 for chicken sandwiches and roast beef (amazing, especially if you get the rare juicy slices). If you go to a fast food joint within a mile of a PTs, you've done yourself a serious disservice. I don't know how Wendys and Arbys stay in business across the street....wait. It's because YOU have been too lazy and haven't been in PT's. Go there, seriously. They have beers on tap for chrissake. And tasty fries.

  • Chris C.

PT's makes one of the best burgers I've ever had in my lifetime, and yes I've had In-N-Out! Two different style burgers, by the way. The burger was cooked to perfection. Not burnt, not undercooked, just right. Lettuce and tomato tasted fresh. Just the right amount of sauce on the burger. It wasn't spilling all over the place like some places I've been to. The fries are pretty damn good too! You can't have a burger without their awesome fries. I recommend eating at the counter. If any burger joint has the option of eating at the counter (e.g. Fatburger) I usually take it. It provides a more comfortable atmosphere. The staff is super courteous too and are real quick with the drink refills. Try the lemonade with your meal. Damn you Wilmington kids. You live right by the beach AND have one of the best burger joints on the east coast,

  • Jessica B.

We are big fan's of PT's Grille. You just cannot beat a perfect hamburger, a pile of well seasoned, extra crispy fries and a cup of fresh lemonade. We can feed our family of 4 for under $20 and love every bite. Their grilled chicken sandwiches are also fantastic and our older son thinks that the 'split' hot dogs are the coolest. Their staff is super friendly and all of their locations and we have never had a long wait, even when they are busy. We are loyal customers and will stay that way for a long time. We love PT's!

    (5)
  • Dtronics C.

Burgers are not made to order. Look at their grill and see them sitting in water!! When they first opened they were the best in town but have gone down hill. They drop old fries that sit in the basket. Check it out next time you go in. You can now get a much better burger for way cheaper across the street at Cookout!

I was hesitant to go here at first ( I love cookout's burgers), but I was pleasantly surprised. The fires were nicely seasoned and the grilled chicken sandwich was juicy and delicious. I finally found my grilled chicken sandwich replacement!

We were going back North after another wonderful vacation on BHI so we consulted Yelp as we always do for some yummy eats! The 5 star rating for PT's did not steer us wrong. Not only is it a very family friendly place, (we went with my 3 girls and 2 nieces ranging in age from 4 to 11) but the food and service are EXCELLENT! We are burger aficionados, (shake shack nyc, burger bar nyc, strip burger vegas, etc) and these were right up there. Our 6 yo, and 8 yo niece ate their whole cheeseburger. The others had chicken fingers which were also delicious. Fries and lemonade were outstanding. We will definitely be back... with friends!

The burgers are tasty and the fries are fresh cut! I love the order slip service style where I can select everything I want and have it made to order. Great price for a quarter lb burger when paired with a drink and fries. Service was efficient and the folks there are pretty laid back. Eat inside or out. Always a nice option on a pretty Carolina day. We'll be back soon and often!

The fries are great!! The burgers are good, but it's the fries - and the great staff - that keeps people coming back.

I tried Pt's Olde Fashioned Grille with my sister and guess what? My sister who is not fond of burgers is now a fan of burgers! This place made my sister the opposite because of how they serve and cook the burgers perfectly. It's not that oily and they make sure that everything is fresh from the bun to the patty and all the ingredients included. They have a nice interiors also. All in all, we're going back for sure!

Not the best burger out there, by a long shot, but great for fast food.

We went for the first time today because we saw where they had won the best french fries in a poll done by one of the tv stations. We really enjoyed the hamburger and fries. I also like that they have a good variety of other sandwich options for those who don't care for a burger. The portion of fries with the burger is VERY large! We thought it was very reasonable for what you get. We got take out, so they knocked a dollar off the price since we did not want drinks with our order (The price includes fries and drink with the burger or whatever.) We will definitely go again the next time we are in Wilmington! They have seven locations, so that is nice, too.

If you want a great burger go here! Nice smokey grill flavor and juicy! The french fries are awesome too! The atmosphere is small and quaint. You can see them making burgers right in front of you. You go up to the register fill out the pad with what you want and your name and when it's done they call your name. Great place and great staff!

Indeed some of the tastiest burgers I've had around here. They have that nice fire-grilled flavor - Five Guys can't even come close!! Also have to recommend their hot dogs which are tasty, but I rarely get 'em because their burgers are what brings me back... :)

PT's grille is the best burger place around. Many try to compete, but they don't even come close! Everything is made fresh to order and nothing is precooked, ever. Grilled hot dogs, turkey and ham sandwiches. They even have a great vegi burger. And the fries!!! They are the best!!

Good food, cheap and made to order. The fries are amazing. The burgers are yummy, and the fresh squeezed lemonade is terrific, too. It's right across from campus, so the atmosphere is catered to students. There are a lot of places to eat in Wilmington, and this happens to be one of my favorite places to drop in and grab a burg.

I lived in Wilmington for 10 years, and have yet to find a better place for a burger and fries. They are not expensive, and make the food to order. Can't wait to go back.
