I love Eric's Grill. If you want a big, juicy freshly made burger, this place is much faster than fast food and much friendlier. The best burgers, fries and hot dogs around. Perfect for a quick lunch. You gotta try the chili cheese fries!

Tasty and simple, most of the food you could easily make at home so I don't frequent the place, but I always have a good experience every time I go. Way, way better than fast food. They have very good coleslaw and whoever cooks does a great job because their chicken and hamburgers are seasoned and flavorful! Good for a quick bite or whatever you prefer.

Great atmosphere and great breakfast food. We ate lettuce and tomato sandwiches with grits, no butter, and it was a healthy and delicious breakfast! Come visit Eric who is a gracious host and eat in this quaint small beach town atmosphere.

Breakfast was Good. My husband's only complaint was that they use American cheese in the omelet. The grits were really good which is rare to find in a restaurant. Nice,quaint, hometown restaurant. A little pricey, it cost $27 for three of us to eat breakfast.

This place is your perfect American diner experience. Such cool automobile and sports chachkies, best burgers/hotdogs. And the owner Eric is just as nice as can be. Comes by every time we are there and says "hi and how is everything" Really great place to go!

Great weekday dive for lunch! Your classic style American grille. Hot rod pictures on the wall, sports decor, and great hot dogs, burgers and fries! The only downside is that it's not open for dinner. Limited seating for the crowds that flock at lunch time but it's totally worth the wait for a booth.

This place was amazing! Not only is the food fresh, not frozen, but Eric is a great guy! He checked in on us and everyone around us. All the locals know him and he connects with everyone. Our burgers were juicy and delicious. You can't beat a wax wrapped burger! We live in VA, but if we lived here, this would be our dinner spot at least once a week!

Since my original review, I think we have gone back 3 times. The burgers were definitely better when we went back, so maybe we caught them on an off day? Anyway, I am upgrading my rating to 4 because I really think you will love it if you try it! We get the bacon cheeseburger!

Ate here for lunch and had a cheeseburger and fries. Hubby had a double cheeseburger and fries. I am a sucker for crinkle fries, so these were a winner. They could have been fried for another minute and they would have been perfect. Burgers were good and for the price this beats eating at a fast food joint. You order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready so your food is hot and cooked to order. Staff was friendly and greeted new customers and regulars with the same friendly banter. Give this place a try if you are in Southport!
