This review is for the fudge, the fudge that I was addicted to and now miss terribly now that I'm too far to drive to get it. Sure, the chocolate caramel swirl, maple walnut, and other wonderful flavors are just what they should be. It is the seasonal flavors that really rocked my sweet tooth. Pumpkin. Cranberry Walnut. I could wax poetic about the dulce de leche. The coffee here is good and there is room inside to sit and relax. All in all, this is a good spot to stop and get your caffeine or sweet tooth fix. If you live close by, eat some fudge for me!

Good coffee, great fudge, fantastic porch! Not the best coffee brewing..... missing some depth in flavor...but good enough. I love supporting a neighborhood shop...and the ambiance improves the coffee!

One of Lewisville's best kept secrets. Best in fall and spring to take advantage of the porch. Fudge, coffee and the rural "watch the world go by" atmosphere.

I'll admit, I am a coffee snob. Total snob so take that into account while reading my review. Also, I do not get to go here often because their hours are not compatible with my commute. I'll start with the fudge - great! They have great snacks to go with their coffee and I find all of the snacks, cakes and other goodies wonderful. The coffee is good, it is definitely a better brew (latte, espresso, etc) than you will find most places. I switch between the mocha and vanilla latte. Both are good. But it isn't tremendously great. When my schedule allows me to stop by during their hours of operation, every time I stop, I end up wishing I drove another 5 miles to Starbucks and when I do go to Starbucks, I am never dissatisfied. But for Lewisville, which I often complain about being lucky to have running water, Casanova's is a great addition to the town.

Great coffee and tea shop with lots of drink choices and local pastries. Comfy seating for chatting or chilling. Lots of charm form the front porch rockers to the friendly service. I especially like to try the latest coffees and like how they support local produces if possible. My wife just found a great Chi Tea on our latest visit.

So many things wrong with this place and a few right things. There is a big selection of coffees, iced coffees, teas, and smoothies. Prices were fair. There are also a few selections of ice cream and a few pastry items that were not unique in any way. Same coffeehouse standard pastries like muffins, brownies, and cookies. I ordered a brewed coffee which was pretty decent, but what was not decent was the lame sign that said, "Due to the Wallstreet Reform Law of 2010, there will be a $9 minimum for credit card charges." Really stupid because the law says,"Minimum payments of up to $10 for accepting credit cards were made legal under the Wall Street reform law of 2010." The way the sign is worded makes you think that they HAVE to charge the minimum for credit cards. They do not. It's only an option to the business so I think it was really ridiculous of them (1) to post the sign in a poorly worded fashion (2) to demand such an obnoxious minimum. I despise cash and I'm not going to buy extra stuff if I just want a coffee! If you can't afford a credit card machine then don't freaking have one! I was lucky the person I was with had some cash to spot me. The "barista" was pretty lame too. He was all stiff and spoke to me like I was a customer at a clothing store. That's why I chose the brewed coffee rather than a latte because I was afraid it would taste as robotic as him. Another turn off was all the various tables of useless retail crap surrounding the minimal seating in the place. There were books, jewelery, soaps, picture frames, bird houses, and kitchen gadgets. Really took away from the coffeehouse ambiance that I'm so accustomed to. The place was absolutely silent as well. How about a little music, chief? So I decided to sit on their front porch which is the real saving grace of this place. It's covered and had several rockers which gave it a country house porch feel which was nice. So if you are in the Lewisville area and are in need for a "coffeehouse" cup of coffee, then this place will do. Just bring cash and get it to go. I'll not be back.

I am seriously obsessed with this place. BEST coffee in the area hands down and I loooove coffee! The owner and workers take their drinks very seriously which I totally respect. You can tell love goes into your drink. The ambiance is nice especially outside, though I wish people would stop talking about politics inside. They have a frequent buyer card which I put to good use too. Definitely recommend.
