This is our favorite breakfast joint in town. Been eating here for over 2 decades. If you are looking for good old fashion breakfast, I really recommend this diner. No, it is not a glamorous place. Prices are actually lower now with new ownership. This place has been remodeled inside... Not a drastic change but cleaner, slight modern look without changing its unique landmark character. Fast service with nice efficient staff. The country ham here is THE best!!! Hash brown is buttery, delicious and even better when ordered with onion. My husband's favorite is their sausages... really good!!!

Came here this morning for breakfast. This is a local mom and pops breakfast place that has a neighborhood feel. We all had the pancakes, French toast, and steaks and eggs. The service was really good and very attentive. All in all we really liked our meals and for the price it was great.

Good food, big portions, most items in the $5 - $7 range. Atmosphere is similar to a Waffle House so the service is fast. Definitely a great stop for breakfast.

LOVE THIS PLACE! We flew in from our home in Henderson NV (outskirts of Vegas)..we chose to try a local spot to eat before heading to Charlotte, and WE CHOSE RIGHT! The menus is small with only the best items, the service was prompt and friendly and the food delicious! If your looking for a diner experience right out of yesteryear, where the locals are greeted on a first name basis and the new guy is treated like an old friend, this is it. Bring cash though, they don't take cards.

Very local kinda place with quite good , southern food and amazingly unfriendly , slow staff.. so 4 stars for food, 2 stars for the employees.. I came for breakfast on a Sunday morning, this place is very popular with locals and was packed - tried a combo plate with "carolina smoked sausage" (which was wonderful), grits (which had an enormous quantity of butter ladled on top, also very tasty and needless to say not good for my efforts at a low cholesterol diet), a couple scrambled eggs, toast, coffee, OJ.. I sat at the counter, this place has a diner feel.. struck up conversation with some local customers who were quite friendly and commented to me that the rudeness and unattentiveness of the staff here is normal and the price they pay for good food at low prices. If you are in Greenville, I would definitely strongly recommend breakfast here, not just for the food but also for the interesting cultural experience , as locals of all types seem to be drawn here so you get an interesting profile of the society of the town and thus an interesting cultural experience while you are pushing your HDL/LDL ratio way in the wrong direction.. i managed to get my coffee cup refilled once while here but it was like pulling teeth getting a waitress to not ignore me even though i was seated at the counter.
