We stopped by this new restaurant today for a late lunch. We had dined at the previous owner's restaurant, "In the Garden", and we thought we'd check out the new place. First impressions of the menu were cheap, easy food...nothing too interesting. I decided on a BLT (can always tell a lot about a rest. by their BLT), and my husband ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Server came back a cpl of minutes later to say that the delivery truck still hadn't arrived and they had no tomatoes. Mind you, it's 3 in the afternoon, there are several menu items that require tomatoes, and there are 3 grocery stores within a mile. I said no biggie and had them add more bacon and lettuce. The sandwich said it was on Texas toast, but it was just toasted thin white bread. Bacon was cheap quality, and the sweet potato fries were the worst i've ever had. The chicken noodle soup was cheap pre-made, and my husband didn't eat most of the meat 'cause it was unappealing. Will not be going back.
