You've got to try their "butter coffee," which is blended with butter and coconut & palm oil for more steady and gradual absorption of caffeine - plus rich and delicious. They also have homemade pecan rolls, home brewed ginger beer, breakfast tacos, and a great vibe - Lori and Mallory are super down to earth and friendly gals who took great care of us and had lots of good local tips.

We were two couples on a two-week road-trip. We stayed in the Montana Suite. This worked great for the four of us. For the smaller of the two bedrooms the bath was across the hall, but that was no inconvenience at all. The Good Medicine Lodge was very clean and convenient to town and restaurants. I can not say enough about the hospitality of Woody. Betsy was out of town so we did not get to meet her. It was great being greeted at the door after a long day of travel. Woody showed us to our room and then had wine/beer and cheese for us to nibble on as we relaxed. Speaking of relaxing, Woody did an outstanding job of making us feel at home. There were many great sitting areas both inside and out for us to rest. Before we left to continue our journey, we were served a wonderful breakfast. Woody asked us each to choose from three breakfast choices the night before. This is a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend it.
This is one of my favorite places to stay!! I've staying here three times during ski trips to Whitefish Ski Resort (Big Mountain). The Good Medicine Lodge was truly one of the best parts of my stays. The service was incredible, Woody and Betsy are both very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfasts are gourmet - truly some of the best (home-made) meals I've had in the morning. There are always fresh delicious cookies, a hot tub to retreat to, a tv and lounge area, an outside fire, and it's only about 10 minutes from the mountain. It truly feels like a home when staying there, I recommend fully.
What a great place to stay! Woody and Betsy are the perfect hosts along with their staff Where do I start? The place is immaculate! Very comfortable setting and the rooms are spotless. Betsy has breakfast available for the guests starting at 8am. Since we were always leaving early to hit the trails we missed breakfast but Woody always made sure we had a bowl of cereal available for us . Then there is happy hour every night from 5-7pm with small munchies and beer and wine for the guests. What a nice touch! Jason helps out on Tuesdays and wow.... Jason makes the most incredible Blueberry muffins! All in all Good Medicine Lodge is a fantastic place to stay if visiting the area. It's only 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park and minutes from Downtown Whitefish and Whitefish Lake.

Really great crepes! Great selection to choose from. The nutella banana was a big hit with my youngest. The simple cinnamon and sugar crepe again was a hit! Very filling! Great service! We will be back when we are in Whitefish again
The name says it all. You can go here 3 consecutive meals and have plenty of variety. Must see when in Whitefish

On vacation from Minnesota played golf and then had dinner at outside bar which sits right next to first tee and last green. View is great and Rueben was exceptional.
Been going to Whitefish Lake Restaurant for years and I have yet to have a bad meal. Their prime rib, truffled mashed potatoes, and just about everything else is wonderful at this place. Just eating at the bar is great, too.
This is my hometown staple. My mom and dad eat here at the very least once a week. When I get into town from Missoula, it's usually my first stop for a beer and a steak sandwich. You cannot go wrong with the escargot, steak sandwich or prime rib and the mud pie, cheesecake and peppermint ice cream are perfection! Don't pass up a chance to eat here when you're in Whitefish. It's easily the best and most consistent food and service you'll find anywhere in town. Great full bar too!

I can't say enough good things about this place. My wife & I live about 1 hour north & usually try and stop in for lunch when we are in town. I usually get the "Po Boy" with a side of fried potato salad (habit forming), but have tried several other sandwiches & have never been dissapointed. I tried their breakfast last week, two eggs over fried potatoes with sausage gravy. What a treat! They make their gravy for each order, with lots of sausage in the mix. The owners are friendly & service is fast.
I can't stop loving this place. The take on a bahn mi sandwich and fried potato salad is amazing. Flavorful, good ingredients. I could eat this every day.
Looking for lunch in Whitefish and found this spot on Yelp. Looked good so we gave it a try. Awesome menu with great sandwiches and salads. Some options were sold out leading me to believe they are a popular spot. Do yourself a favor and try the Fried Potato Salad, total game changer! The restaurant is located inside a larger building with some other food and craft stores so don't give up if you can't find it right off.

Hammer Nutrition

Reviews:
I feel like I have reverted back to the old days, when Customer service was something that made the customer feel special. Hammer Nutrition makes you feel that way and even moreso. I am a triathlete, marathoner and have been training for years. Fellow athletic friends of mine have told me about Hammer Products in the past but I never really paid too much attention as I was A Power Bar/Gel girl all the way. Until i sampled some Hammer products at the Big Kahuna Half Ironman, Santa Cruz last year where they had Heed and Hammer Gel along the aid stations of the course. For once, my stomach did not act up and I felt that perfect burst of energy when I polished off a gel during the run. I finally got my s--- together and hopped online to see if I could order more products and to my excitement, they had a "trial pack" that consisted of everything and anything in small doses I wanted to try of the Hammer Products and more. But, the best is yet to come. When I hit "send" to place my order, within an hour, I received a phone call from a LIVE PERSON thanking me for my order and assuring me that they will let me know when the order goes out. Then I received an email stating the order went out and my package arrived within a few days with all sorts of additional goodies and suprises that I didn't even expect (and I LOVE getting a free water bottle!) -- it is the little things...... About a week later, I received a Thank you card, personally signed from a Hammer representative.........oh my gosh....I love them. Not only are Hammer products GREAT but it is so refreshing and wonderful to receive such amazing customer service. You have my business now Hammer! Power Bar? I will never forget that you would not give me a free Power Bar t-shirt (that would help your advertising)at the Boston Marathon after giving you business since 1989!
Race nutrition: It's every bit as important as the training. Train your machine like a maniac, but if you don't fuel it PROPERLY, you might as well park it. I trust the Hammer Nutrition experts beyond trust. I will NOT go into a long training day or especially a race without my 3 vital Hammer products: Perpetuem (cafe latte flavor), Endurolytes, and Hammer Gel. I used to have huge issues with bonking, cramping, and nausea (from certain cheap sports drinks). If I mix up some Perpetuem and drink it properly, I WILL NOT bonk. I carry extra for long training rides or races so I can replenish the drink bottles. I had horrible leg cramping issues in hot weather, but with Endurolytes, NEVER. I carry extra and hand them out on the run course during triathlons. People LOVE it when I offer them Endurolytes when they are cramping up. Hammer Gels; quick, perfect energy. I carry these on the long runs too. Never a stomach problem. It's not magic, it's SCIENCE. Thanks Hammer! G
Saddened Hammer Nutrition 'customer service' defends charging 125% more than their stated rate for shipping and 27% more than their actual cost (what FedEx charges them). Then I was told that I was "generously offered" [free] samples and I could become a retail client if I didn't understand or like the "discount" program I was in (military). A great product, but rarely have I felt like I didn't matter more than with Hammer Nutrition. Also, not cost-competitive in my opinion with similar products when actual costs are factored in.

Very friendly staff! Food was great and reasonably priced. Will be back every time we visit town!
Very happy to have somewhere new in Whitefish to eat. The chicken tarragon salad is amazing and they have a nice variety of delicious soups daily. If you've ever eaten at Bonneli's in Kalispell, the same owner runs this business so the menu items are basically the same. The dining space is small and shared with another business, but that doesn't affect that the quality of the food! Call ahead at lunch time for pick up orders because they can get pretty busy.
The sandwiches at this place are amazing. So far my favorite place to get a sandwich locally by far. It is tucked away inside the stumptown marketplace, but it is worth the adventure! I got the roma tomatoes on rice paper which is their gluten free option and that was amazing. It came with buffalo cheese and the texture was almost like a sandwich quesadilla. My friend got one of the regular panini's and hers looked like a regular sandwich but I loved the taste of mine just wasn't expecting it! It comes with a salad which is nice and filling and there is seating outside or you can take yours to go. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area!

I have to give this place 5 stars for the Lemon Stuffed French Toast, though their other offerings certainly stand on their own. We've only eaten for breakfast, so I can't comment on their lunch or dinner offerings. In addition to the french toast mentioned above, we had a vege-burrito (forget the exact name). which was loaded with fresh vegetables, and offered a great counter-balance to the sheer sensory overload of the french toast. Speaking of the french toast - wow wow WOW. If you stop by for breakfast and have nothing else, make sure to try this. The abundance of flavors sent me into sensory overload as my brain tried to cope with the flavor tsunami coming it's way. All the french toast I eat in the future will have to up it's game, since there's a new bar to compare to.
A local treasure. No matter if it's breakfast or lunch (they do dinner seasonally too) save room for their amazing pies. The food is great!
Great breakfast! I had the pancakes but everything looked good. Don't miss the best breakfast spot in town. It may cost $2 more than other options but it's well worth it.

Tupelo Grille

17 Central Ave
Whitefish, 59937
Reviews:
The service we received on the bar side was far above and beyond the norm in Whitefish. On par with what should be expected in four star and up city restaurants. Whitefish service in general is fairy low given it is a prime tourist location and career wait staff. Perhaps 'you' tourist need to help raise the standards by demanding more and paying less. In any event the Tupelo Grille made for a wonderful night out with another couple. Our drinks remained full, the waiter was attentive, professional, with minimal amounts of banter. Knowing when to bow out gracefully. We ordered a variety of appetizers. The most memorable was the pistachio hummus. For those interested in lighter cuisine over drinks I would highly recommend this starter. For a heavier option, consider the sweet potato fries. We did not try these but our friends appeared to like them. They did not last long. We would like to frequent this establishment more often but choose to 'keep it special' since our local options in Whitefish are limited overall.
For a Cajun/Southern food theme, this Tupelo Grille is awesome. The cost for small plates might be a bit for some, but makes up for it in flavor. I was a bit apprehensive about how my family would be received being that I had read previously on Yelp reviews that this place isn't good for kids, but I was pleasantly surprised that upon walking in, the hostess asked if we wanted the coloring sheet kids' menus with crayons. So, I guess if your kids aren't off the chain and bothering other customers, they're more than welcome as guests! They even bought out a bread & butter basket for them right away to snack on. We were on a foodie quest for some good eats with out a limited budget, so we ordered pretty much half of the menu. Everything came in small plates and was delicious. We ordered quite a few specialty drinks from the bar as well. My husband didn't appreciate the bar being as slow to serve so he ended up ordering a few drinks at a time to make up for having to wait about 20 minutes for a drink. Also, he felt that our waitress was a bit snooty and demanding that we wait on her whenever we requested something or ordered something else. It's not like we stopped her mid service of another customer or flagged her down whenever she walked by. We did wait for her to come to our table. It just seemed that she was a bit annoyed by the constant orders. But in our defense, when you are dropping $300 on dinner, you should do your best to keep up to earn your 25% tip... Overall, dinner was great, kudos to the chef. The live music was a fun added bonus! We'd definitely eat here again. Things that would make it better: - Service with a smile and servers that strive for excellence!
Another fine restaurant in Whitefish that rates all the stars! Again highly recommended by locals and perfect for our sad goodbye dinner. Bigfork and Whitefish offer excellent dining that one cannot find on the western slope of Colorado. The coconut shrimp was so sweet and delicate. My Husband's New York Strip was melt in the mouth excellent, he was quite pleased. So obvious the sous chef has a flare that is notorious. Very comfortable decor that is unique. Even being greeted at door is warm and professional. This place is a gem.

This is the proverbial "hole in the wall" restaurant. It is, however, a local hangout with consistently excellent food. Breakfast and lunch only, though.
Really great food and homespun service. This is our favorite breakfast place in Whitefish because of the intimacy it offers. Any dish you get will be fabulous. My favorites are the Hobos, Benis, and the Tofu Curry scramble. The one thing that is so so important to us that brings it down a notch is that they stop serving breakfast at 11:30. We're brunch breakfast people, and we rarely get outta the house in time to get there early enough...Loulas does serve breakfast until 2 so we usually go there instead....Sometimes I hear that Swift Creek will fire up the breakfast griddle til 2, but it doesn't say that on their website...so call first.
Great for a quick home cooked breakfast. You can tell it is the locals favorite breakfast place. The cinnamon roll is over rated but good. Reasonable prices Would go there again.
