Driving to Yellowstone from Spokane, and a friend recommended Paul's. All six of us thought it was outstanding food. From burgers to pancakes to him everything was stellar!

Paul's is simply the best breakfast in the city of Missoula. A tiny hole-in-the-wall dinner that makes heaping portions and delicious food. Paul's has a great hometown vibe and lots of menu items to choose from, not to mention, a good variety of pancake flavors. Get there early on the weekends and don't let the long line scare you away - They move quickly and the wait is always worth it. Plus, if you're a reader, you can browse the neighboring Book Exchange while you wait for a table! My favorite is the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of hash browns.

Strip mall storefront? It's a cute strip mall but could good food come from a strip mall? YES! We had breakfast. Lot's of flavors and menu choices for our varied band of eaters. Pecan caramel pancakes were so tasty and not overpoweringly sugary or candy like (my worry). The chocolate caramel pancakes were tasty and just like the pecan caramel ones, delicious flavor and perfect texture and the preparation was about flavors and not making everything goopy confection. The syrup was real maple. The coffee was smooth. The ambiance was college diner. The wait staff had cool t-shirts. Multiple people made sure we had everything we needed and we never wanted for resupply. One of my "tests" for a breakfast place is a faster pace to service and Paul's delivered. The server who served us was quick with a joke, good at suggesting a smaller portion size (don't order more than 2 pancakes), and she was great with our kids. The only downside was she couldn't resolve the table debate. We couldn't remember if Area 51 was located in Arizona or New Mexico. She said Arizona. We checked. It's in Nevada.

Very standard breakfast food, but great service. I ordered the German pancake. I have never had one before and wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't care for it and only ate a bite or two. The server offered to have the kitchen make me something else. My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries which he enjoyed. It looked like there would be a long wait on a Sunday morning, but they seated everyone fairly quickly.

I have ever left here hungry. Never. This place is the bees knees, the cats meow, the dogs bark. I've always said you can judge a breakfast place on two things... Biscuits & Gravy and Pancakes. They've nailed both. I always get the Biscuits & Gravy here, comes with a heaping stack of hash browns. It surprises me every time, I never leave this place hungry. Kudos Paul's, Kudos. Only downside... It's typically packed and wait time can be long. But for good reason. It is well worth the wait.

The raspberry multigrain pancakes had raspberries in the batter as well as raspberry sauce/jam on top. Perfect with sausage and a scrambled egg. We had a 25 minute wait Sunday morning, but there's a used bookstore next door...

I really don't understand the infatuation with this place. Food is subpar to average diner style fare that is priced the same (or in some cases higher) than far better options around town like Burns St Bistro, Catalyst and The Shack. Service has been terrible the few times I've been, whether it be the server who always acts like she's having the worst day ever or the rude gentlemen who works the register. I literally have no desire to ever return here. Trust me: you can find far better places in Missoula to spend your money.

Outstanding food! Best breakfast I've eaten on this trip covering north Idaho and west Montana. Not only is the food great, but the service was amazing. The staff are obviously family and very invested in their community and their regulars. They are huge fans of the place and are more than willing to make recommendations and talk with you about their unique restaurant culture. We got outstanding service. Food was delivered super fast and was extremely tasty. The sourdough pancakes are unbelievable. The biscuits & gravy was fabulous. Excellent hash browns. Definitely make this a stop when you are in Missoula.

Great home town mom and pop atmosphere. Many varieties in pancakes and amazing biscuits and gravy!

My mother loves the crepes and regular pancakes at Paul's, however I don't like pancakes and so I was always reluctant to go with her. Eventually I gave in and went for breakfast with her. The place was crazy busy, which is normal I hear. I was craving biscuits and gravy, but I've had so many bad gravy experiences in this town that I was a bit wary of ordering it. I straight out asked our server if they made homemade sausage gravy, or if they used a mix? I figured I would order an omelette if they didn't make their own. The server told me that they always made the gravy homemade and in house, so I ordered it. Well, surprise, it was the nasty stuff that comes out of a pouch and you just mix with water, they didn't even bother to add any sausage crumbles to try and really fake customers out. I wouldn't have cares so much, but for the fact that she lied to me. I'm only giving two stars because my mom thoroughly enjoyed her crepes!

    The best breakfast/lunch in Missoula

    (5)
  • Matt W.

Good food and good service. I don't feel it's much different than a Denny's or something similar to that. Priced reasonably, but maybe a little overpriced. Service was reasonable attentive. That's about it

    (3)
  • Jeffrey P.

Awesome breakfast, pancakes are delicious, French toast is delicious, veggie scramble is delicious, everything is delicious :) Whenever I am in town visiting the parents, it is the place that my mom always wants to eat at.

    (5)
  • Emily D.

Go to this place for pancakes....and sausage. The prices are right, the service is right and the atmosphere is truly diner-casual. Other than their pancakes, I think the breakfast is just average...although, they do cook eggs perfectly and the corned beef hash is good. Furthermore, as I mentioned previously, the sausage is local and delish. If you get the veggie browns, don't expect the veggies to be sauteed to light brown...

    (3)
  • Jake S.

One of the best places to eat in Missoula. Their spiced pancakes are the best and you will not go home hungry. The service was excellent and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I would recommend going a little early because seats fill up quickly.

  • Casey H.

This place is so amazing! Talk about a super friendly staff that tries to get you in ASAP and ensures your experience is nothing less than supurb! The food is to die for...fresh, made to order and absolutely more than enough! My only regret is I forgot to take a picture. (I blame it on my hunger and how amazing the food looked) Great hometown feel with a mothers touch from the kitchen! GO GET YA' SUM!!!

  • Ms. V.

So amazingly.. this dive-looking place has great service, FAST service, and really consistently good food. There's a reason there's a line down the sidewalk on weekend days. Best prices in town for large, well-cooked portions. The pancakes are amazing. Omelets delicious. They pay attention to how you want things cooked, are great at complex substitutions and trust me.. I'm the fairly high maintenance. "Can I get the veggie omelet with everything except no onions and can you please add broccoli. Very light cheese. Oh and I want my hash browns crispy. Can you make the bacon crispy too and can I substitute sourdough for regular pancakes?" *furiously fast scribbling* You got it! and like literally 12 mins later here she comes with plates up and down her arms with every last thing done exactly how I asked. And coffee stays hot and full the entire time. Love it.

Had a great breakfast here during our annual Montana visit. The service was great, the food was very good, and the portions were generous.

    (4)
  • Jennifer T.

The pancakes are out of this world yummy! The other food is just your basic burger and sandwich specials...nothing out of the ordinary. If you are coming here make sure to have pancakes....any flavor, JUST MAKE SURE TO TRY THE PANCAKES. Service here is always crazy fast. I have no problems when I swing by on my lunch hour. I'm in an out in like 35 minutes

    (4)
  • Karen V.

Great food, great prices, nice portions! I loved the laid back atmosphere and friensly staff. But beware the long wait when it's crowded. I requested some healthy substitutions for my meal (eg, egg white omelette and wheat toast without butter) and they were happy to oblige.

    (5)
  • Kippy D.

I am sure the food is good, based on the reviews, but I came in, sat down and immediately left. Why? The person who went through the doors ahead of me was carrying a tank with a spray nozzle, and walked through the aisle spraying under the tables and booths. Exterminator? During working hours? I have just made a new dining rule, no restaurants with carpeting.

    (3)
  • Mrs M.

I had the vegetarian scramble. Delicious! Best of all we were seated quickly, nice friendly staff and decent coffee. The ultimate reason pancakes! The rolled strawberry pancakes were like a delicious dessert. If you like cream cheese pay for the upgrade. Blueberry pancakes are amazing they have the flavor baked into the entire pancake not just a bite of blueberry every now and then. The whole thing had blueberry flavor!. This is an absolute must while visiting Missoula!

I want to like Paul's Pancake Parlor. I really do. I like the people that work there. I like the location. I like the idea of Paul's. But I just don't get the hype... I've had different breakfast and lunch items and haven't had the WOW factor of other places. The chicken fried steak leaves a lot to be desired. The pancakes are decent. I'm not a huge fan of the decor and feel like Triple P's could use a facelift.

  • Tabbatha C.

Great service Great selection Yummy food: (we loved the sourdough pancakes, the German pancake, & the veggie browns) Diner atmosphere Coffee was good

  • Justin L.

Good food. Prices are comparable to any other place. Much better quality then Denny's or Perkins. So many choices of pancakes. I hear the sourdough pancakes are delicious. My girl ordered the Griz breakfast. Aka chicken fried steak with eggs on top and gravy. Was really good. I had the buttermilk cakes and eggs with bacon and sausage. Sausage was a little greasy but what else can you expect from eating fried pork products. Delicious. Bring your family and maybe call ahead. They are always busy for a reason. GREAT FOOD!

  • Joe B.

Just got to say I love Paul's Pancake Parlor. My family and I have I've been going there for about 4 years now. We show up on Saturday mornings for breakfast and the service and food are always exceptional. My favorite is the Veggie Browns with lot's of Tabasco sauce.

  • Meghan M.

The only thing I want to rave about was how quickly our order came out. I had heard good things about this place but was disappointed. Went there on a Sunday which, as a waitress I should have known better. It was super busy, and the waitress was not all that attentive. The tables sit close together so you can hear the conversations next to you, not a fan of that at all. The portions are large, but the food was just mediocre. Nothing spectacular and could probably pass on going here again.

  • Patrick T.

As good as it gets. I've been holding off to write my review here, cuz I'm selfish and they are already busy, but after 6 years of hoarding it, the time has come. Very clean restaurant (though check the seats!). Amazing waitstaff (only one bad one and she knows who she is). I mostly eat breakfast here. About $10. I like the chili cheese omelet without onions and the steak and eggs is pretty good! I don't even like pancakes, but I like theirs. You can upgrade to them instead of toast for about $1.50. I recommend the rolled ones (more $) or plain with strawberries on top. The only bad thing about breakfast is they overcook the toast (waitress always complains about the toaster...). Oh, and Breakfast is served ALL DAY (while they're open). Lunch: I don't really like the bun they used on the burgers (too ciabatta -y). French dip is good. Dinner: I think the spaghetti was aight (they have a special spaghetti night. Daily specials: Avoid the chicken fried steak (Tuesdays). Very busy place--I avoid on weekends. Usually busy til about 10:30am for breakfast and 2pm from lunch on weekdays. They are pretty slow after that. Be ready to eat, the food comes quick! (quicker than fast food most days). Not really a fan of the black ceiling though, kinda makes it feel too dark in there. But hey, they remodel every couple years anyway. You the man Paul (if you exist)

  • Kaitlyn W.

I'd only heard great things about this place, but after coming here for the first time, I was thoroughly disappointed. My big problem here was the service, because, quite honestly, it was terrible. My boyfriend and I were completely ignored as we waited for a table, while a large family who came in ten minutes after we had was promptly seated. Once we had finally been seated, the waitress set two glasses of water at our table without so much as even looking at us, smiling, or taking our drink orders. The wait to get our orders in seemed to take an eternity, and it seemed to take even longer for our food to arrive. Surely with such a long wait, the food would have been worth it, right? Wrong. Heads up, don't get the strawberry waffles unless you're looking for something overpriced and drenched in soggy strawberries and whipped cream. Honestly, save yourself the time and go to Denny's, or another diner that doesn't pretend to be anything better than what it is, because Paul's was regrettable.

  • Erika M.

We are here for breakfast. The portions are large and the flavor is good. The kids raved about the pancakes, and my husband and I enjoyed omelettes. Fair price, good food, friendly people.

    (3)
  • Max P.

No complaints about this place. Staff is friendly, and regardless of mood I can always find something to eat. It can get a bit busy on weekends. I would highly recommend over any chain restaurant.

  • Ken K.

A small dinner located in the middle of the city upon walking in you will see a beautiful old decor that reminds you of a 50's diner. The ambiance is nice the food comes out fast and tastes great the only problem this place has is the service half the servers have worked here for 10 yrs and don't know what customer service really is, upon being seated it took 10 minutes to get a menu and offered a drink even though there was less then 10 other people in the restaurant. They also sat a water jug at my table that was already to small for my brother and I to both eat at comfortably. I gave this places two stars because if you don't offer decent customer service then you really have nothing.

    (2)
  • Andy C.

Classic diner menu and an eclectic decor. Food is good and service is pleasantly surly. Big portions and reasonable prices. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a few minutes for a table on weekends but it's well worth it!

After hearing nothing but rave reviews from the locals, I decided to pop my head in and see what all the fuss was about. I've actually been here twice now. The first time I went the place was packed. It was a Sunday morning, and it took forever to get a seat, and when we did, the food did not come quickly. I ordered the chicken fried steak because I'm a big fan of it anyways. It wasn't great. Everything that came with it on the side was good, the bacon was cooked to perfection, but the main dish was lacking. After discussing it over with those who would rave about Paul's, they convinced me that it was because I didn't order the pancakes, so I decided to give it a second go. The second trip was much more pleasant. I went on a Monday morning at about 6:30am, and it was virtually empty with the exception of a few lonely individuals who were out catching a bite by themselves. I seated myself and the food came super quickly. This time I ordered the (seasonal) Huckleberry pancakes. They were delicious. My only complaint was the middle was a little doughy, and once again the bacon was cooked to perfection. The waitress was pleasant. The only thing that annoyed me was that, though admittedly I'm no fan of country music, the music was turned up too loudly for that time of morning. I brought a book to read and couldn't concentrate with all that racket! Maybe if the restaurant was full the voices would've drowned it out some, but as it was it was overbearing. I suppose were I to stay in Montana I'd be back. I thought it was better than Denny's, a little better than an I.H.O.P., but still slightly overrated.

  • Leland S.

I got the corned beef and hash with eggs and pancakes. The eggs, hash-browns and pancakes were good, but the corned beef hash was awful. It is obvious that it is from a can and not made onsite. Very disappointing for my first time here, I was really looking forward to a treat because of all the good reviews. Either take this off the menu or start making it yourself. It has given me a horrible stomach ache.

  • Garth S.

I came from Sour Lake TX just to eat breakfast here. Anything from the omelets to the breakfast burrito is great. Oh yea, don't forget the pancakes and waffles

    (5)
  • Mitch K.

Back for more! And more is what you get at Paul's. Certainly breakfast is, to me the best ever. Hash-browns in massive piles, a menu that has all the stuff from egg dishes to pancakes to waffles to all the meats. Service is amazingly efficient with the waitresses hustling continually among the tables and booths. Coffee and sodas refilled before you can notice that you drank any of it. And friendly? Cosy? You bet. Even crowded by the entrance waiting for a seat, the regulars and new comers joss about in eager anticipation of a special eating occasion. Not one to forget. There is a grid on the menu so you can order your item and sides efficiently and the way you want them. If you have trouble reading, just tell the waitress what you want and you will get it. The variety of pancakes is huge...I guess that is why the word pancake is on the restaurant sign. Much fun and all yummy. Portions are huge so if you do not have hunger pangs, consider splitting an order. It don't matter to them at all. Montana friendly and it might take a wait for a larger table, but families, especially children are welcome and well accommodated.

    (4)
  • Margot M.

Ehhhh..... Nothing special at all. Very basic. I could've done better myself back in the kitchen. Must be popular, though, because it was VERY crowded mid morning on a Monday ( do people work in Missoula?) My husband and I both got eggs, bacon and pancakes. Nothing to write home about. Waitress was not friendly. We will not return.

    (2)
  • Brooke C.

One of the best breakfast places that I have eaten at in a long long time. I had the veggie brown and it was outstanding. The pancakes are the size of a Frisbee and yet incredibly light and fluffy. I did not leave hungry and they are really reasonably priced. If I lived in Missoula, this would be a regular stop for me! I highly recommend this place!

    (4)
  • Jason M.

This place has a great atmosphere, fast service and huge portions! It seemed pretty busy when I arrived but we were promptly seated and it seemed our order arrived almost as fast. I will definitely be coming back to Paul's next time I'm I'm Missoula.

    (5)
  • Nico A.

I went here for breakfast one morning and it was packed! The breakfast comes in huge portions and I struggled to finish my pancakes. The decor is very Missoula oriented, with a huge homage to Grizzly athletics inside. The menu had a pretty good selection of breakfast items but I wasn't amazed by the pancakes the I had ordered. Still, this a pretty good place to have breakfast in town.

  • Matthew O.

Paul's Pancake Parlo has set the bar for how I will rate breakfast restaurants. This is as good as it gets. The pancakes are great, the portion size is generous, and the service is fast. Sourdough pancakes are one of my favorites and they have them with or without blue berries. I had them with blue berries and loved them. My wife had some sort of bacon and egg deal with hash browns. The potatoes and bacon were cooked to perfection. The people of Missoula are very very lucky to have this place! I'm thinking of moving there...

    (5)
  • Bradley R.

So, where should I begin?...... We arrived, and they were busy. Out the door busy. We had to wait for 15min for a seat. (It was well worth it). Small compact place, felt a little crowded. I had ordered "The Griz". I pulled the chicken fried steak off the biscuit to find it was golden brown to perfection. The poached eggs were also cooked very well. But, why I choose to write this review was due to the service, and the system that they have here. The people next to us left, within 10sec a gentleman walked by and sat a wet cloth on the table. He then went to the next table to take a order. Within 10sec later someone came back cleared the table of dishes, within another 10 sec someone else came and wiped the table down with that cloth that had been waiting. Finally. very very shortly after all of this the hostess prepped the table, and sat the next customer! I've sat in places where they have failed to clean tables with in 30min let alone in less than 2 min. I was rather amazed! +1 in my book!

Fuk that's allot of food! And it tastes great. Everything was great. Not healthy at all 8)

  • Lacey C.

Paul will you marry me? Their sourdough pancake starter is over 90 years old. 9-0. And those pancakes taste AMAZING. Hat's off to the hashbrowns. The place is so down to earth, clean, service is fabulous--and they have a spectacular cup of joe. They also have really good coupons available in the valu-paks you get in your mailbox. To feel like a real Missoulian--go on Sunday and people watch with your best pal.

  • DC S.

Exactly what we wanted and expected! Nice local crowd, great food and service and a price that didn't kill the wallet. Other reviewers have said all that needs to be said. When in Missoula eat breakfast at Paul's Pancake Parlor!

  • Daniel R.

THE SPICED PANCAKES are so yummy! Two people can easily share one order. They are cinnamon pancakes that are delicious.

    (5)
  • Tamara Y.

Good good really good sourdough pancakes. The eggs and bacon were good. My over easy eggs were closer to over medium (maybe even over hard) , but all in all I'm not complaining. Good service, good food.

  • Kaylee M.

Great breakfasts! Really good pancakes. The service was friendly. Good prices I ordered corned beef hash it came out on two plates and a large serving of pancakes for $9

  • Rita M.

Good pancakes and great bacon. All the bacon we've had in Montana is so good, really good flavor. Service was good. Seemed like mostly locals.

  • Katy G.

I was passing through Missoula, and I stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. There was a 15 minute wait, but it was totally worth it! The wait staff were UBER attentive. They were on top of empty water and coffee cups like their lives depended on it. I had the rolled apple pancakes. OMFG. There were 3 of those things, and I got no where close to finishing them. They made great leftovers while I drove south through Idaho. Definitely do this place.

    (5)
  • Jess C.

OVERPRICED. I got the german pancake, a unique menu choice and plenty tasty, but it's just flour, milk, and eggs and it cost $10 without any sides, just one pancake! My fellow diner had the spiced pancakes with a side sausage and said he could have gotten the same thing at ihop for less. Later in the day our stomachs were none too happy either. I had high hopes for Paul's, but was disappointed. Cranky server too.

Best breakfast in missoula! small town vibe, great food (pancakes are obviously the best thing on the menu), and all very affordable! It's a must-stop if you're coming through the area

  • Linda B.

Game day (or any day) heaven. Best breakfast in town and great service. Sometimes you have to wait but it's worth it. Sourdough pancakes are great but they have a large variety on the menu. Good hash browns, too. Nice and crunchy. Will fix special orders if you have food allergies, special needs diet, etc.

So, last week I visited my best friend in her adorable town of Missoula, MT. Had a great time checking out the town for sure, but not sure this spot is high on my personal list of spots to go back to. My main problem is that I am a Gluten Free gal these days and a spot with Pancakes in the name is most likely not going to do it for me....haha. I liked the vibe of this place, very family friendly and the being busy on a weekday am is a good sign. I felt the service was not amazing, we had to remind our waitress about the drinks we ordered though she did promtly bring crayons for the lil guy we had with us. I will say the pancakes that my table mates ordered looked delish, oh and huge! I got a veggie scramble with hash browns and it was decent. The prices were fair and it was clean, just would have enjoyed it more with faster & more personable service.

  • Logan G.

Eggs benedict were spot on. Waitress very pleasant and environment made very welcome with some light country music and friendly chatter in the background. Simply comfortable.

Great food and friendly service. Plenty of solid food at great price.

  • Em N.

I almost missed Paul's, it's nestled in a shopping strip. I wish the hashbrowns had more of crust to them. If that makes sense. The waitress had a bit of a tude, but the kind that I appreciate in a diner. Coffee was a bit weak. With all this negativity why am I giving it four stars? It was exactly what I want out of a diner, folks knew each other, definite regulars, food was quick, they had pies that I wished I had tried, and I just like diners.

    (4)
  • Jessica M.

Worst hollandaise I've ever had. It was bland and not a great texture. My hash browns were pretty flavorless also and they use the thinly sliced ham which isn't my favorite. My husband wasn't all that impressed with the chicken fried steak either. It did have more flavor than my meal at least. It wasn't super easy to find and we left pretty disappointed. I don't have any complaints about the service. They were quick to refill water and coffee. Based on all of the other reviews it looks like we may have just ordered the wrong thing.

  • Emily C.

My favorite breakfast spot in Missoula. Sure, it's not as fancy as other places, but the selection is great, the food is good and they have many different types of pancakes and syrups. I even took the parents here while they were in town for my graduation. Yum!

If you had too much fun out at the bars and need something to settle your stomach or get the hair of the dog out of your mouth, there is no better place to go in Missoula. Self seating, quick service and low prices compliment the yummy food. There is a wait during the weekend, and if you don't get up at the crack of dawn, don't even think of going there on the morning of a Griz game. You'll not only have a hard time finding a spot to eat, but you'll probably freeze while waiting. I haven't strayed from the No.2 (2 pancakes and bacon) in a long time so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the pancakes are what I dream of when I want a good breakfast after a night of drinking.

  • Brenda R.

Excellent breakfast food, but the service is terrible. Went for brunch a few weeks ago and our waitress was horribly rude to me when I asked her to divide the check.

  • Eric Z.

A good greasy spoon, with fluffy pancakes and crisp bacon. The hash browns are good too. My chief complaint? Where are the huckleberry pancakes?!?! We are in Montana after all, aren't we? Not even an ounce of huckleberry syrup.

  • Distress B.

Fantastic breakfast. Huge portions! Great omeletes and pancakes, all for a fantastic price.

This is a firmly established restaurant that is much more than a restaurant. It takes about 5 minutes to realize this place is a gathering place for the community. We arrived at 11:30 am on a Saturday and it took about 15 minutes to be seated...the place was hopping. The workers were friendly and hard working. The atmosphere screams college town and would be the place I would go before a fall football game. We had omelettes, eggs, Bacon, buttermilk pancakes, caramel choc. chip pancakes, and biscuits & gravy...all of it was worth the wait...loved this place! Service was a little slow, but understandable as the place was packed. Highly recommend this experience if you are having a laid back morning with a little time to spare.

This place was awesome. They were really busy on a Sunday around noon but we didn't wait too long. The food was really good and the service was good too. I definately recommend this place.

After being shunned away from "The Shack" by bad customer service, we decided to go to pauls, which was an awesome alternative. We were able to sit right away, and someone came and took our drink order within a minute or two of being there. I decided to go oldschool and order the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs, home fries, and a biscuit and gravy. My friend ordered the special which was ground sausage mixed with eggs and cheese, homefries and toast. My other friend got chicken fried steak and eggs. Our food came out in a reasonable time nice and hot, and all of it looked great. My corned beef hash was awesome, and when all mixed together with the potatoes and eggs was intensely satisfying. The biscuit and gravy were also good. The biscuit was a little tough, but the gravy made up for it. No mix here, you can tell the gravy was creamy and homemade. The special which my friend ordered looked AWESOME. Huge portion and smelled awesome. The chicken fried steak was ample and equally as tasty looking with the same gravy on top as my biscuit. Prices were good, nothing we ordered was over 10 bucks. Pauls is great, best breakfast I've had in Missoula. And I haven't even had their pancakes!

Great food, great prices, nice portions! I loved the laid back atmosphere and friensly staff. But beware the long wait when it's crowded. I requested some healthy substitutions for my meal (eg, egg white omelette and wheat toast without butter) and they were happy to oblige.

GREAT FOOD!

Just got to say I love Paul's Pancake Parlor. My family and I have I've been going there for about 4 years now. We show up on Saturday mornings for breakfast and the service and food are always exceptional. My favorite is the Veggie Browns with lot's of Tabasco sauce.

We are here for breakfast. The portions are large and the flavor is good. The kids raved about the pancakes, and my husband and I enjoyed omelettes. Fair price, good food, friendly people.

    (3)

No complaints about this place. Staff is friendly, and regardless of mood I can always find something to eat. It can get a bit busy on weekends. I would highly recommend over any chain restaurant.

    (4)

I came from Sour Lake TX just to eat breakfast here. Anything from the omelets to the breakfast burrito is great. Oh yea, don't forget the pancakes and waffles

This place has a great atmosphere, fast service and huge portions! It seemed pretty busy when I arrived but we were promptly seated and it seemed our order arrived almost as fast. I will definitely be coming back to Paul's next time I'm I'm Missoula.

THE SPICED PANCAKES are so yummy! Two people can easily share one order. They are cinnamon pancakes that are delicious.

Good good really good sourdough pancakes. The eggs and bacon were good. My over easy eggs were closer to over medium (maybe even over hard) , but all in all I'm not complaining. Good service, good food.

Awesome breakfast, pancakes are delicious, French toast is delicious, veggie scramble is delicious, everything is delicious :) Whenever I am in town visiting the parents, it is the place that my mom always wants to eat at.

Exactly what we wanted and expected! Nice local crowd, great food and service and a price that didn't kill the wallet. Other reviewers have said all that needs to be said. When in Missoula eat breakfast at Paul's Pancake Parlor!

  • Jess C.

Good pancakes and great bacon. All the bacon we've had in Montana is so good, really good flavor. Service was good. Seemed like mostly locals.

My favorite breakfast spot in Missoula. Sure, it's not as fancy as other places, but the selection is great, the food is good and they have many different types of pancakes and syrups. I even took the parents here while they were in town for my graduation. Yum!

  • Chris B.

A good greasy spoon, with fluffy pancakes and crisp bacon. The hash browns are good too. My chief complaint? Where are the huckleberry pancakes?!?! We are in Montana after all, aren't we? Not even an ounce of huckleberry syrup.

  • Grant R.

  • Jez D.

  • Karen V.

Great food, great prices, nice portions! I loved the laid back atmosphere and friensly staff. But beware the long wait when it's crowded. I requested some healthy substitutions for my meal (eg, egg white omelette and wheat toast without butter) and they were happy to oblige.

GREAT FOOD!

Just got to say I love Paul's Pancake Parlor. My family and I have I've been going there for about 4 years now. We show up on Saturday mornings for breakfast and the service and food are always exceptional. My favorite is the Veggie Browns with lot's of Tabasco sauce.

We are here for breakfast. The portions are large and the flavor is good. The kids raved about the pancakes, and my husband and I enjoyed omelettes. Fair price, good food, friendly people.

I came from Sour Lake TX just to eat breakfast here. Anything from the omelets to the breakfast burrito is great. Oh yea, don't forget the pancakes and waffles

  • Grant R.

  • Cynthia W.

Good food and good service. I don't feel it's much different than a Denny's or something similar to that. Priced reasonably, but maybe a little overpriced. Service was reasonable attentive. That's about it

One of the best places to eat in Missoula. Their spiced pancakes are the best and you will not go home hungry. The service was excellent and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I would recommend going a little early because seats fill up quickly.

    (5)

Good good really good sourdough pancakes. The eggs and bacon were good. My over easy eggs were closer to over medium (maybe even over hard) , but all in all I'm not complaining. Good service, good food.

Awesome breakfast, pancakes are delicious, French toast is delicious, veggie scramble is delicious, everything is delicious :) Whenever I am in town visiting the parents, it is the place that my mom always wants to eat at.

Exactly what we wanted and expected! Nice local crowd, great food and service and a price that didn't kill the wallet. Other reviewers have said all that needs to be said. When in Missoula eat breakfast at Paul's Pancake Parlor!

  • Jess C.

Good pancakes and great bacon. All the bacon we've had in Montana is so good, really good flavor. Service was good. Seemed like mostly locals.

A good greasy spoon, with fluffy pancakes and crisp bacon. The hash browns are good too. My chief complaint? Where are the huckleberry pancakes?!?! We are in Montana after all, aren't we? Not even an ounce of huckleberry syrup.
