Love me some Howard's. The food is amazing. The menu is pretty simple and includes great pizza with toppings prepared in-house, fried chicken, sandwiches, and sides. Oh, and their wings are probably the best in town. They are perfectly spicy and oh so crispy. The pizza itself is, as previous reviewers have commented, greasy. Seriously, though, you're eating PIZZA; if you're going for health conscious fare, this is not your place. If, however, you are looking for some amazing pie with a floppy homemade crust and fat layer of cheese, this is the place for you. Oh yeah, they don't charge for delivery either.

Used to be my go to option for delivery. Now a days not so much. Their super awesome chicken strips turned into slender chicken fingers. The delivery used to be super quick. Now, a resounding mediocre. Not happy at all. Was a faithful customer for nearly a decade. Now a days I'd rather go to Double front.

Long time fan of Howard's!! We would go there when I was a kid after a day of snowmobiling, (on ancient Arctic Cat sleds) family friendly atmosphere that has been maintained for decades! Great pizza and calzones, chicken and ribs!!

Tried Howard's after reading all the great reviews. The cheese they used was tasty, however the dough was bland and under cooked, the sauce was just ok.

Not sure how I feel about it. The crust is great, and the ingredients are great--if not entirely fresh. Solid sauce. But so. much. grease. It's like I told my husband--"of course you like it, it's manfood." It does go great with beer.

As a vegetarian, eating in a room encircled by 12 deer heads and 1 and a half bears proved daunting. The menu, though, helped put me at ease, with two veggie pizzas on it. Though the microwaved lasagna and white lettuce salad that my gf was served failed, Howard knows how to make a decent pizza. The toppings of the basic vegetarian pizza (mushroom, green pepper, onion, and black olives) were copious. The pizza overall was A-okay, with a soft and thin crust, tangy and not herby sauce, and chewy cheese. If Howard served beer, I might have even been able to forget all about the many pairs of black eyes longingly watching me veg out.

Excellent pizza and a mainstay in Missoula, MT. There is actually a FaceBook group for people who love Howard's Pizza but don't live in Montana anymore. We love their combination pizzas and thin crust. We always do take out so not sure what they have in the facility. The owners are Missoula residents and support local activities. The pizza and calzone are made with homemade dough and it is way above average. For the price I enjoyed this weeknight delivery, definitely worth a try if you haven't had it before.

Got wings from Howard's after much discussion. They were OK. i probably wouldn't get them from here again. BBQ sauce was really good and tasty. Wings were sort of small.

Not as good as the Great Falls, MT Howard's pizza but it is a close second. I can't say enough good things about Howard's. always hot, always good.

I no longer live in Missoula, but when I did, I was in love with Howard's Pizza. I would get a cheese pizza and a calzone with my roommate at least once a month. I have no idea why it was so good, but it was. I am getting married in Missoula in a month, and I plan to order a cheese pizza from Howard's for lunch the day after the wedding. That is how much I love Howard's Pizza!

I've eaten at Howard's Pizza for over 15 years. I live in Seattle now but always stop in for dinner at least once when I come back into town to visit. It's hands down the best pizza (and ribs) in town. It's been owned by the same family as long as I can remember. The food is great, very friendly staff, and relaxing atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the name, they make an assortment of foods. Some of my favorites, besides pizza, include the BBQ ribs, chicken strips, submarine sandwich, ham n' cheese sandwich, calzones...and the list goes on. They offer dine-in, take-out, or delivery of their entire menu.

The best pizza you can find anywhere (shhh don't tell my boss). Hand made with craftsmenship you just don't get from any of the chain pizza places. Great ingredients make any pizza you choose a good choice. They've got some good chicken wings, cheese fries, and other appetizers if you're eating in, but you can't go wrong with a Large Pepperoni pizza. I prefer taking mine home and combining it with some tasty Moose Drool.
