This is one of my favorite places to bring my kids when we drive through Lolo, every time we come here there's new stuff and they seem to reorganize it a lot. The cinnamon rolls are very tasty the best I've ever had, my husband makes me buy them for him every time I'm here.

Lolo Creek Steakhouse

Reviews:
I just joined Yelp and was checking out the reviews in or new my home town. I was absolutely shocked that the Lolo Creek Steakhouse did not appear even though Subway and Burger King did. Being a university town and all, Missoula has quite a few fine restaurants for a small city, but none can even come close to the atmosphere at the Steakhouse. I dare to say that if you are traveling through and are not a vegetarian, then you absolutely should check it out. The Steakhouse It is in cedar log building decorated with elaborate taxidermy mounts including an amazing tableau of wolves taking down a caribou. Steaks are cooked "cowboy style" over an open flame and are among the best in the state (remember, you come to a steakhouse for the steak). The staff is attentive and friendly. You can even get a huckleberry daiquiri. Top it all off with a coconut macaroon brownie sundae, 1000 calories of sinful decadence.
This steak house is amazing. We came here on a road trip to ohio. The steaks were amazing and the service was even better. Here you can get 3 to 4 great steaks for under $100. This deserves more than 5 stars
Very good tenderloin. As far as Bitterroot restaurants go, it's high priced - as far as nice steakhouses go, it not high priced at all. With Bitterroot restaurants leaning more towards heavy comfort food, Lolo Steakhouse is a refreshing change of quality. They've cleaned up and polished the place in the last 3 years. It's quite nice! Still a taxidermy haven, so if critters watching you devour their meaty cousins makes you nervous...perhaps this place (or Montana) isn't the place for you. We always love this place!

Lolo Hot Springs

Reviews:
I spent one night a Lolo Hot Spring Lodge. I booked a king at the lodge through a Travelocity special. The rustic log constructed room appeared to be clean and the amenities basic but sufficient. No Wifi in the rooms. However if you have an "Alfa Wifi Adapter" I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem (accidently left mine at home) No broadcast television in the room (a good thing IMO), but the lodge has a very large selection of DVD's. My entry faced into the courtyard so even though one could hear owls and wildlife outside at night, all I could hear through the windows of the room were other guests ventilation systems. Moose wonder around out front. Water pressure is on the weak side but acceptable. However be forewarned that if the unit next to you turns the water on while in the shower, your temperature will make a drastic change. The bed was comfortable. I didn't see- have much interaction with the hotel staff. I spent a good couple hours at the bar/grill next door. Had a nice selection of beers along with a descent menu. I was bummed that the ribeye's were sold out, but that seemed to be an issue I had that week at other Montana eateries as well. My bartender/server "Sara" All I can say is she made the whole experience "Awesome". She even gave me a beer from a local brewery that she'd been saving for herself since they'd ran out. Great girl. Hope she's there next time I visit. I went to the lodge in the AM for coffee for the road. The breakfast smelled and looked great. Gunsmoke was playing on the LCD. Liked that! I planned on returning and spending the following night, but unfortunately ran into a government business issue in Missoula that required me to head to Bozeman. I've rated this experience as "Yay I'm a fan" almost "A-Ok", but the place and stay met my expectations for the type that it is. Not a cheap place to stay, but considering the location etc... I would say reasonable. BTW- I didn't notice anything related to pests or excess garbage in or around the property.
I only have experience with the restaurant, and this review is limited to that aspect of the establishment. I was absolutely TERRIBLE in all aspects. We ordered chips and salsa for appetizer that didn't arrive to the table until after we had finished our terrible, dry hamburgers, despite many requests. Mine didn't come with anything but a bun (they forgot the lettuce, onions & tomato) and it took them at least 15 min to bring that. My husband NEVER got the side salad that was supposed to come with his burger. We never got drink refills despite several requests (we had been riding in 95+ degree weather all day). It was also VERY loud. ABSOLUTELY DON"T EAT HERE!!!!!!
Great experience! The drive in on 12 was awesome! Jennifer was awesome helping get a nice camp spot and generally being awesome! Lots of fun trails in walking distance. Outdoor springs were big and spacious. Lots of sitting spots. A very "merry" group was enjoying the pool area, and only added to the good times. Kids loved to play around and in the pool area. The indoor spring is nice and hot. Slipping is easy anywhere around both pool areas, so watch your step. Clean bathroom area, flip flops add security. Restaraunt had limited staff at tables. Eat at bar. I had the tomato and basil soup, rib-eye, fries, fresh green beans...AWESOME! Good beer selection. Apple pie for dessert. Great meal! Overall, the scenery and options available to guests is tremendous! If you are enjoying yourself and just want a great place to relax and do it simple, you will love it here!
