This is the home cooking one hopes for when driving across the country. Amazing homemade food. Great people. Carrot cake was incredible. Place is on 2nd floor and it's worth the stairs. Please support this wonderful local business! True American goodness!

Came for lunch, got the pulled pork sandwich and it was a lot better than their breakfast & it looked like everyone else around me opted for their brisket burgers. They also offer boba drinks, this is the last place in America I'd expect to find bubble milk tea of any sort. I ordered the mango boba and it came with "popping" boba which isn't even popular in California boba shops yet. Interesting. Friendly service as always from the lady running the shop.

Under new ownership! Thankfully... Great little salad bar and food is great. Really happy to have a nice spot for lunch in town. If you tried it before and had the experience many others did give it another chance.

Fantastic brunch and great service! Had the baguette French toast which was really tasty. Would have that again, definitely. Husband had the baguette and gravy which was also good. Daughter's side of ham was very high quality. A cute space on the second floor for a nice view of Hamilton Main Street.

I've been to the Loft twice this week. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Great place for either breakfast or lunch!

I had a tasty BBQ sandwich here for lunch. My biggest complaint was that the bun was wamed in a microwave rather than toasted. Had a nice cup of coffee to go with it. Not open two days a week during lunch time is my biggest complaint.

If you need breakfast, and you're in Hamilton...then you MUST go here. We were in Hamilton for 3 days and this because our spot the whole time. This was our last stop on a 17-day work-cation and out of all the places we ate breakfast on the trip, this place had the BEST pancakes. So fluffy and rich (but not too rich), and just the right size (not too small, not too big). Coffee was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Service was friendly and quick.

How disappointing, but could well be another sign of the deteriorating economy. The Loft seems to be cutting corners on portion size, composition of offerings and they have raised their prices. First off I was really, really disappointed when they watered down their coffee. It used to be rich and flavorful, more so than Starbucks or the other franchise baristas. Their regular brews were perfect and now you have to order Americanos to get similar strength. I like the "black" cup size that now needs to be a triple Americano to equal the "was" coffee. Soups are still good and from scratch and they have adjusted the new menu adding some new items. Too darn bad as the current owner was partner with the one that left for Seattle and one of the waitresses has been there for the duration. I do time at the Stone Cottage consignment shop downstairs, so The Loft is kind enough to deliver my lunch, consequently I will continue to monitor what I hope is the recovery and renewal of the old Loft.

Best breakfast in Hamilton. Friendly staff, can order off menu, gluten free toast option and healthy menu items sitting next to greasy spoon. Sandwiches are out of this world and creative! The roast beef with hashbrown sandwich on GF toast is my fav.

Had the "salmon stack" breakfast special. Awesome! Smoked salmon with eggs over hash-browns with hollandaise sauce and avocado. Great view while I ate and sipped my triple latte.

Well I don't know about the "watery coffee" because we have had good experiences at the Loft many times. We go there for lunch and as a local cafe, they have a great menu with great service. I like the eclectic nature of the foods and we recently had a "gluten free" friend come to stay. She was pleased to see the menu very accommodating for her as well. The portion size seems to satisfy our tastes as well and I am glad they don't over fill a plate as I want a light lunch and not feel that I am at a feed trough. If you are looking for a "not so run of the mill" place to eat with great views and charm, I recommend this place. They also have a side room available for larger parties as well.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant, and can't say enough good things about it! It's my new favorite place in Hamilton. =) As a big-city girl, it reminds me of my favorite places in Seattle; every morning I come in for a few hours to study online, grab a cup of coffee and breakfast, and chat with the owner and staff. The food is wonderful, the coffee great, and the atmosphere is warm, inviting and chic... My favorite part: the table tops are basically smooth blackboards for the kiddos to color on with chalk; my son loves it! I am SO glad I was introduced, and proud to call myself a regular!

Every trip to the valley we would not miss the Loft Cafe. Though it has changed hands several times we have never had any bad experiences. The staff and owners are always friendly, helpful and interested to talk. The food is excellent and the portions are satisfying even for my husband. We love the variety and menu. If it does close, it will be a loss for Hamilton as it does add a new mix to the standard fare of this town. Coffee is great as well as the setting. When you visit, relax, enjoy and slow down to enjoy life in a small town!!!
