Located about 5+ miles south of town, the steak I had here was excellent. My wife had chicken and her's was tasty too. Not a place for vegans, vegetarians or PETA members. The gravel parking lot and friendly wait staff says "This is a real Montana steakhouse." The place was a timber log construction (located near a log home manufacturer -- hmm, maybe they got a deal), with a cool looking bar. I had a local draft beer and it was excellent. Note that their website only shows one page of the dinner menu. They have chicken, other steaks and a pork chop choice. Worth the drive outta town for a great steak.

My Mouth is watering while I write this review just thinking about the Aged Ribeye I enjoyed during my last visit. Sadly, my grandfather passed away, and after the wake my family of 20 wanted to honor my grandfathers memory by enjoying one of his favorite dishes. Due to the Wake not getting over until 8pm we were concerned about finding a place that would accommodate a party of this size and at this time. I called Bradley O's and after placing us on a brief hold the hostess not only said they would accommodate all 20+ family members, but they said they would keep the restaurant open for us. The wait staff was outstanding the entire dinner... The served us with such compassion and enthusiasm. Each one of our meals were outstanding!!! So, Thank you Bradley O's all that you did for us in this time of grieving, and celebrating my grandfathers life.

This location has gone through many interations. The previous was very, very good, but tax problems caused it to go under and Branley O's was born. It has all the atmosphere for a western place, live music to dance to a couple of nights each week and is a place to watch cowboy/cowgirl culture on a Friday or Saturday night. A very extensive bar and OK wine list, but this is Montana so you are not going to get a California type of wine list with lots and lots of choices. Tthe selections are fine, but nothing gourmet about wines offered. Meals come with a nice salad and you can order dessserts. Unfortunately, the meat is average...hate to say it for a steak house, but it is true. Locals are divided on Bradley O's, either loving it or only occasionally going there to eat. It is certainly not as popular as it once was in spite of the sparcity of restaurants in the Bitterroot Valley. One of the owners circulates to ask you about your meal and you better say nice things or she argues with you, or at least tells you how your opinion cannot be correct. They did change their meat supplier from the previous owners and it is telling. Some other minor short-cuts have taken place, so we just don't go there anymore. For the 5-mile drive south of town you are better off going 7 miles north of Hamilton to their competitor in Victor.

I asked 4 people what the best steakhouse was while on a business trip to Hamilton and got 4 different answers. Unfortunately for me I picked Bradley O's. I ordered the NY steak and cheesey Au grautin potatoes. The latter being $1.00 more but my waitress said it was her favorite. Well the meal arrived a little late but not terribly but it was early and not very busy. First off my steak was ordered medium rare but on my first cut which was very tough I noticed it was raw still (probably due to the gristle I encountered). They took it back and then brought back the same steak with all fat and gristle still hanging off it. After I removed all the inedible parts there was small center part that was actually good. As for the cheesy au gratin potatoes they were terrible and I wished I had had a regular baked potato. Had a cocktail which I thought a little pricey for the digs. ( about 10 miles out of town ). No break for a double they just double price. I personally would rather have a bad meal in town then drive that far out of town for one. But maybe that's just me.

This was our first trip to Montana and this place was recommended for consistently good food. Unfortunately we felt the food was not worth the final price which was around $100 for two people. Two "Cadillac" margaritas were $24 and nothing Cadillac about them, very average and small. The onion rings were good, maybe a little greasy and there were only five (really 4 1/2 as one was very small so each of us got 2 1/2 rings - are onions expensive?) We got the prime rib and small ribeye which did have good flavor and were cooked correctly although slightly over-salted and the prime rib had too much fat on it. Good garlic mashed potatoes but arrived barely warm and the side of vegetables although good was a pretty small portion. The service was fine but nothing special. Overall we felt we paid way too much for what we got. Wouldn't go back.

Great little steakhouse. Gotta drive a little, but the place has the best steak in the valley.

I was pretty pleased with Bradley O's. We were driving between Jackson, WY and Missoula and this was one of the few spots along the way that was open after 8:00 pm. They were gracious when we arrived around closing time and the food was decent and actually a very good and well thought out, albeit small, wine list. I would recommend it if you are passing by.

Great restaurant! I was traveling from the Kansas City area so I'm accustomed to dining on good steaks...this restaurant didn't disappoint. I started my meal with the Bacon Wrapped Scallops. One of the better appetizers I have had in a long time. I had the Rib-eye steak. I ordered it medium rare and it was prepared perfectly. As a side, I enjoyed the homemade French fries. I'm not a fry kind of guy but these fries changed my mind. I also had some of the Bradley O wine, which I enjoyed. I ended the meal with a slice of the house made Cheesecake and it was out of this world! This restaurant will now be part of my rotation when I travel to the area. It is worth the trip!

Moved to Darby Montana in early 2010, and Bradley O's was an enjoyable place to dine. Food was enjoyable, wine's adequate. For $100+ per couple (including wine and cocktails), it was an enjoyable evening. However, I don't know what happened in 2011, but the quality (and quantity) went down, down, down.... Talking to staff didn't help, they didn't seem to care. We pass this place numerous times a month, and just keep driving. Victor's Steakhouse is Victor is generally better, although somewhat uneven.
