Best. Mac & cheese. Ever. The end. Oh, and everything else was delicious!!!!! I found Newks on Yelp traveling thru Vicksburg. I had not ever heard of Newks so we went solely based on the excellent Yelp reviews. Thank you Yelpers!!!! It was excellent. The food is fresh, salad dressings are made on site. I had a huge delicious fresh yummy salad with the homemade sherry vinaigrette. Shared a cup of fire roasted tomato soup with my daughter, so good! I'm stuffed!!! And satisfied!! The service was friendly & fast.

I have been to Newk's several times and each time has been a great experience. Newk's gets PACKED during lunch. I'm talking lines out the door! Don't let that intimidate you. They keep the line moving, and from the time you are in line to the time you get your food is about 10-15 minutes max. Food: Excellent. I have had a few different pizza's and a few sandwiches and soups. Fresh and hot when they are delivered to your table.

The soups are excellent, especially the Lobster & Crab Bisque and the Crawfish Pepperjack. There are a lot of great salads. My favorite is the Greek. The pizzas are great, too. The Shrimp Pizza is outstanding. Of course, the tea is exceptional, and should be, considering the founders also created McAlister's Deli.

A lot like a Cafe Express. Good pizza, salad and sandwich choices. I like that they bring the food to you like a McAlister's. The Mac 'n cheese is the top item. It's expensive but very good. Get a sandwich that comes with a side of mac 'n cheese. The half sandwich and mac 'n cheese is not worth it. The salads are big as are the side salads. Kids pizzas are VERY small. They will still be hungry. Wish I would have tried other favorites. A hidden gem in a pile of fast food and trucks top offerings.

We were driving through and found this restaurant on Yelp. We were so happy to find fresh, good food. I had the Cobb salad which they altered to fit my vegetarian needs and the tomato soup. The soup was amazing. It was such a comfort. My companions had the pizza and the Greek salad which they lived as well. The restaurant was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food arrived quickly. We were delighted with this healthy find.

I've been to Newk's about 3 times. Every time I've ordered the pizza, but after seeing the size of the salad bowls that are quickly brought to the table by Newk's attentive staff, I may just have to try one. The pizza - fantastic. Add some jalapenos and some sauce at their toppings station and you'll fall in love. The soft drinks are a little pricey, but you get to keep the cup and enjoy free refills. The price point is a little steep for an every day lunch ($8-$12 depending on what you get), but Newk's is definitely worth frequenting. Get there early, the line tends to lead out the door around noon. They give a 10% discount to federal employees - a great perk. I find the food options in Vicksburg to generally be disappointing. Newks, however, is far from disappointing. I recommend Newks for lunch. There are enough items on the menu, that anyone should be able to find something, even your picky friends. They offer soups, salads, mac and cheese, and pizza, a nice change from the other burger-centric lunch options in the area. They offer the 'pick two' deals for sandwiches, soups, and mac and cheese, so you can try a couple of things each visit. I really like the Newk's Q Sandwich. The chicken is the best quality I've ever had on a sandwich. The sauce has a nice spicy horseradish bite and the bacon really brings it all together. If you are a fan of pickles, as am I, they have delicious pickles on the round table fixins bar. Yum! They also have croutons, roasted garlic, jalapeño peppers, banana peppers, and parmesian cheese. With these options, you can fully customize your meal. Don't forget to grab some breadsticks! (Hard thin crisoy kind)

I'm not from Mississippi and I'm just passing through. I saw this listed on yelp. I'm so glad I went here instead of the Taco Bell down the block.The chicken tortilla soup tasted homemade. Roast beef sandwich was small, but still very good. The coleslaw was great. The service was quick, but I came during an off hour. I would definitely come back here again

DELICIOUS!!! Ordered the grilled steak sandwich and did the up charge for the pimento Mac N Cheese. So worth it! Kids had pepperoni pizza and salad. They said it was terrific. The wife had the chicken salad and said it was super fresh and yummy. The atmosphere was casual with some relaxing jazz playing overhead. You can order beer and wine that is 1/2 off after 5p on Fridays and Saturdays. I would recommend this place for some define good eats! Bon Appetite!

I stopped at In at lunch today on our way to Shreveport. We had the grilled steak and my wife had the grilled chicken toasted specials. All I can say is awesome. This place was top shelf on being clean, service speed and friendliness. We have one in Hattiesburg Ms and have never eat there. But we will. Soon. The speed of service was unexpected for a Sunday. As the church crowd began to roll in the were never backed up. If you've never been. Go!
