This is the best Mexican in Southaven! Service is on point, food comes out fast and hot. Prices are great! They have a Ultimate California burrito that is bigger than your head. And black beans as a healthier option than refried beans - and let me tell you the black beans are absolutely delicious!! I really cant say enough about this place and I'm sad it took me so long to try it out!

Tried this place for the first time today, and it ranks up there with what I consider to be other good authentic Mexican restaurants in the area such as Casa Mexicana and El Mezcal. You can't go wrong with these, because 4 things are pretty much always guaranteed: free chips/salsa, fast service, large portions, inexpensive. Fiesta Grill has a large menu with many mouth-watering options, so it took me a while to decide, but I finally chose the Molcajete, which resembled a miniature fire bowl made out of rock, and it was filled with sizzling steak, chicken, cheese, onions, peppers, and sauce ...I ended up getting half of it to go!

Horrible service! The ground beef looked two days old with stale taco shells. Service was also horrendous! I feel like there was a change in management because we USED to love this place.

Gross! Soon disappointed I think they got a new chef because it was horrible. Me and my husband didn't eat or like the food and they refused to take it off the bill even though you could clearly tell it wasn't eaten

Yum food but slow service....very inexpensive for the group. We are celebrating for multiple Honor Rolls of all the kiddos.

Just moved to the area from Texas, so I've been searching for some good Mexican food. Fiesta grill is, so far, the best I've had. You'll be shocked at what they consider their "medium sized" draft beer, as well ;).

I will drink here, but never eat their food. First I will say the drinks are excellent. That is all that is. I have given this place four chances, and four times they have failed to present me with an adequate dish. I have tried quesadillas (old rubbery tortilla, and dry chicken), Chimichangas ( palatable, but unimpressive, and over cooked). I tried one of their specials that came with three different burritos the only one I could identify was a shredded chicken one, but the entire plate was covered in shredded lettuce and terribly cut tomatoes, and an exorbitant amount of sour cream. The last and final straw was again on a quesadilla plate that looked completely different than the first time ordered, and tasted very bad. I asked if it had been microwaved because the tortilla was soggy, and not cooked right at all. They would not answer my question, but did refund the item. As with most places around here. The chips and salsa served were decent.

Food was good. Beer was cheap. Service was fast. That's pretty much how you judge a Mexican place.

We came in to an empty restaurant and we should have known at that point not to eat here. The jumbo margarita with top shelf tequila was watered down. The cheese dip was as if it was cooked all day and the ultimate nachos were bland. On a good point, the waiter was friendly.

I moved here last summer from Texas - so my standards are high when it comes to Mexican food. After trying quite a few places that just weren't quite what I was used to, Fiesta Grill took the cake for the best Mexican I've had in Southaven or Memphis. I've ordered the shrimp enchiladas and one of the specialty meals with chicken on top of cheese enchiladas - both were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Ok so I was in the mood for some mexican food and I ended up here. If you like Cuban inspired Mexican or Cali Mexican as we call it, this is the place for you. I myself didnt care to much for it. I had carnitas which were over cooked and dry, I like authentic Mexican and this wasnt it. They had a few authentic choices on the menu but they were way over priced. Now saying that I must say the service was excellent and that is why I gave it 3 stars

Hands down the best Mexican I've had in Southaven. Prices are reasonable, menu is plentiful. Margaritas are excellent. And they have a patio!

We come here a lot for lunch. They have good lunch specials. The staff is always very friendly and very attentive. The chicken fajitas are my favorite.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
