We got take out. My son had the lasagna and he said it was great. I had a spinach and onion calzone. It was so good. Marinara is really good, has a little kick to it!!

This place has a mom and pop feel. The pizza's come in 3 sizes. Small, Med and Large. Its a pizzeria that serves lasagna, sandwiches and salads. I had the small, made to order pizza. It came out pretty good! They also have a small domestic and import beer selection. The seating area is adequate. You can sit, eat and socialize without feeling like you are bunched up with other patrons. This pizzeria is in a little strip mall that isnt actually on Goodman blvd. Its offset and sits behind Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken.

We have eaten here for years and love it! Great sandwiches, expecially the meatball and Italian. Of course great pizza, my favorite being the Butcher Block. Great chicken Alfredo, and cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Efficient and friendly service and don't forget they deliver. This is the kind of local business we love to support.

Really good pizza, and garlic bread. Thinish crust and fresh ingredients, and liked the casual atmosphere. Great service.

I called this place on Sunday night for delivery. The girl who took my order was impolite, but not hostile or anything. It won't cost any stars because she got the job done in a timely manner. I got the medium home made meatball pizza and boneless hot wings. 23 dollars taxed and delivered, a little pricey. They do have good daily specials on their website to fix that, but I had to try the meatball. Delivery came quickly with a friendly guy. The pizza was piping hot and the first bite made the eyes roll back in my head. Very good pizza! I'm almost certain the chicken pieces were from a large frozen bag from the grocery store. Sauce was tasty and pretty hot. They weren't bad per se, but the boneless wings from the national pizza chains are better than this. And they were disproportionately expensive at 6.59. for 6.59 I want you to chop up a fresh chicken breast, bread it, and throw it in the fryer. Very good pizza delivered quickly is enough on its own for 4 stars. In response to the people complaining about the service. (I actually like long-lived local places where the workers are impolite. It means the food is probably really good. In San Diego, I asked a waitress a question and she started speaking very loud and slow, deliberately condescending to me like a bad child. She was so over the top effing rude that it was actually pretty funny. There were consistent complaints about that. It must have been their thing. Those were the best tacos I've ever had.)

This is a pizza joint. BEST BBQ pizza you will ever eat in your life!!! We've been eating the BBQ pizza here for 5 years and it's just as good as it always was. I took 3 friends with me tonight and they all agreed the pizza is off the hooooookkkkk!!!

We ordered delivery. Got a good deal through a coupon they had available. Buy a large supreme pizza get a medium pepperoni pizza for $1.99 which I thought was awesome steal! The pizza taste great! We also ordered the jalepeno poppers. Wish they would add bacon, it would be 10xs better. The ranch provided was also good. It was like a garlic ranch flavor.

I've recently downgraded Avellino's from "one of my favorites" to "this place is hit or miss." Honestly, it's probably better to call in an order and pick it up, and try to ignore the sulky girls who work there. I'm giving them two stars, because they do have great pizza--sometimes. During my most recent visit, my husband and I sat down at a table and waited 7-8 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. I was about 30 seconds from getting up and leaving. This is not OK when there are literally only two other customers in the restaurant and I can SEE you standing behind the counter chatting away with the other unfriendly employees. Sadly, when my pizza came out it was covered in diced tomatoes (sprinkled on top like it was a topping). I hate tomatoes and would never order them as a topping. When the waitress saw me picking them off, she said "oh did you not want tomatoes?" To which I replied, no but I'll pick them off because I don't want to wait. Her only reply was, OK. Also, the pizza had no pizza sauce on it! Needless to say, this last trip was highly disappointing. If I go again, I'll be calling and picking it up, checking my pizza before I leave. I suggest someone doing a little customer service training.

This place does take-out and was highly recommended by the hotel staff during my overnite stay in Southaven. I ordered their salad and lasagna. The salad was fresh, w more than lettuce and tomatoes, the lasagna had real meat, was tasty and for my appetite could have easily served 2 people. If I ignored the surly young lady who took my order, and the equally surly young man who told me my change on an $11.08 order was $12.00 after giving him a $20, I'd give them 4 stars, but "service" is part of the service industry, isn't it? Overall, tho, the meal from this locally-owned restaurant make it well worth visiting during one's travels.

Good pizza, fresh ingredients. Fast service, big O TV's. cold beer. Tables outside but they just serve drinks outside-no food-bummer.
