Here's the deal... They have tasty catfish. They are friendly and glad to serve you, which always ranks highly in my book! If you're only comfortable with something run of the mill (e.g. Subway), then go somewhere else and make room for those of us who are looking for a unique, cultural experience... where you can get a true taste of the local flavor - both the food and the people! If I fly into Jackson again, I'll be sure to stop there to try one of their other dishes and say hey...

SO good! I didn't call my order in until I was outside and I still got my food in about 15 mins...hot, fresh, and BURSTING w flavor! Learned of this place from a coworker & it was very happy with what I found at the end of my little search. Small place, lady at the register is neither friendly nor rude...a little stand offish or mechanical almost...made me feel a little awkward, but I got it to go, so so what, lol. For those who do care, it may discourage anyone else. Food is great, great, great. Exactly what I expected to find in a fish hut-GREAT FISH

This place actually insulted me. I entered their establishment on the evening of July 8th, 2015. I had about 5 $100 bills on me so of course I can only pay with a $100 bill. The guy at the cash register looked me in my eyes and said "is this a fake bill?" I said no. Next he said "where did you get it from?" He also proceeded to ask me numerous questions about the authenticity of this $100 bill. I just looked at him shaking my head because arguing really wasn't worth it. The time before this incident I came here and it took 1hr to get a to-go fish order that was called in. With that being said Harvey's Fish House will not get any more of my business.

Harveys has pretty good catfish at a fairly decent price. I recommend ordering your food over the phone so that your wait is bare minimal. I wouldn't travel extremely out of my way to eat here, but if you are in the Pearl area off interstate 20, it's definitely worth the stop for the fish.

I live in N.E. Jackson, but work out in this area. To say the least, this is 14 miles from my house - but on the weekend - Harveys deliver! If you want a pretty aesthetic facility, go somewhere else. Harvey's is all about the grub. I'm a regular, nuff said!

The fish was great. Extreeeeemly Small dining area. Bad time management. Waited an hour and a half for my food. The price you have to pay for good food. Overall good eats!!

I was on the hunt for some good, fried catfish while on a business trip to Mississippi -Harvey's was recommended by someone that lives in the area. This place is really a hut. No frills here - simple menu, that of course had fried catfish, fried chicken, French fries, and pie. I ordered the fried catfish and chips. Other option was just fried catfish or a catfish sandwich. The meal was served with 2 slices of white bread. overall, I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.
