Great pizza by the slice or whole and a cheap price. The kids are going to love the game room. The mom is going to love the quiet room. The dad is going to love the sports tv. They have the best banana splits and Ice creams. The soda fountain is refill free. Snow balls, wings, chicken nuggets and more. The owners will treat your children like their own. $10 game room all day.

I love the location and the atmosphere of this sushi bar. There are two issues that go along with it but one is remedied by the liquor store next-door. They do not serve alcohol unless you bring it on yourself. They ran out of major fish on the Saturday night like yellowtail, whitefish, etc... The portions were decent but we're not larger as normal. But the fish is all fresh. The waitstaff is amazing and really adds to the ambience of the little restaurant. It's worth the drive
Outstanding! A BYOB location in which was well coordinated wine and prepared special menu items. A pairing of wine and food that was totally unmatched! The flavors of the cuisine met the welcoming entry of the wines with explosive unification that made you feel as if the chef was also a wine maker. Talking about a foodie ' s heaven! For those who enjoy great food, wine and pairings it couldn't have gotten any better than this. Point blank. With 5 stars it's just too little. I would just go ahead and throw in the whole universe. I will be back!
Great lunch! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and extensive menu of unique rolls. The Cajun roll is delicious, and the Jamaican Me Crazy roll is as tasty as it is original. But the best part for me? All the gluten free options! And gluten free soy sauce too! I will be back for sure!

Only came for the chocolate cake because it got really great reviews from a couple friends of mine so I can't speak to the rest of the menu but the chocolate cake was AMAZING!!! And the service was great too: very friendly even though we were doing a quick take-out. I would definitely return to Hook, hopefully next time to sit down for dinner and have some real food. But either way, I will absolutely be getting the cake again.
Went by on a Sunday; they were probably busy for lunch. Our server was polite, but a bit forgetful and when the food arrive it wasn't what I expected. However, it wasn't bad... I'd go again. The restaurant has a great homely feel to it. An 8.7 out of 10.
Had the seafood pasta, wife had the blackened chicken sandwich and my son got the shrimp and fries... Everything was great and the service was top notch. Will be making this a regular stop on our travels through this area.

Went with another couple to try this place. 1st of all, the waiter came to our table wearing dark sunglasses. He didn't welcome us or tell us his name, just rapped on the table and asked what we would be drinking. We sat outside on the porch to enjoy the harbor view and although there were places in the ceiling where ceiling fans should be, there were none. We ordered our food and one of the people wanted pizza. He was told that it couldn't be ordered from our table, but had to go upstairs for that.?? One waitress tried to bring us someone else's food, then ours came. I got a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and it was delicious! The only problem was, the constant flies hovering and trying to land on our food. Had to wave them off with one hand while trying to eat with the other. Those who ordered tuna and chargrilled oysters said they were good. I tried a piece the brick oven pizza and was not impressed at all. It was dry and flavorless in my opinion. Our waiter seemed to be in a bad mood, and when asked, he complained that he was made to wear black pants, that it was hot, and that he would rather wear shorts. He also did not ask whether or not our check was to be together (for the 2 couples) or separate, and just brought it out together, which created a problem. The manager came and apologized, but it really did not seem sincere at all. Could have at least offered to adjust the bill, but said there was Nothing she could do. All in all, some of the food was good, some ok. Service was terrible, as were the flies. Would NOT go back.
Ok this place is known for their pork chops. Well it's true. Delicious. Taste like I cooked it on my pit at home. Got to also try the Caesar salad. The dressing is homemade and garlicky. Mm good. Will be back to try sme other dishes. Casual atmosphere.
We visited on Mother's Day and despite the decision to make reservations that morning everything went perfectly. The view from our seats were spectacular, as we had a shaded outdoor table that offered us the best of protection from the sun while giving us the gulf air. Service was amazing as three different managers/owners checked on us, in addition to the wonderful server we had. The food choices were standard fare for the area, however the quality was outstanding and the pricing was competitive for the area. Overall, our meal at Bacchus helped create an excellent Mother's Day and we will definitely visit again.

For being a potential tourist spot, this place does have excellent food. The fish is very fresh as well as all of the other dishes. The bar is full and they pour great drinks . If you're in the area this definitely is a place you must go to
Shaggy's is nearly perfect. I have a rule regarding the ordering of po-boys. According to my rule; if I am out of the New Orleans metropolitan area, I do not order a po-boy. You may ask yourself why, but it's simple really; It is highly unlikely they will have the correct bread. You see the bread is actually the most important part of a true New Orleans po-boy. Trust me on this. So what does this have to do with Shaggy's? I disregarded my rule here and ended up having a great experience. The food is just one part of the Shaggy's equation. My shrimp po-boy was loaded with perfectly fried, fresh shrimp. It was well dressed although the bread was too soft. Real po-boy bread has a bit of a bite to it when taking a bite, but this was more like the bread you get at a grocery store. Despite that, I savored every single bite and will remember it forever. So, now that the food is out of the way, I will get to why Shaggy's has truly won me over. Shaggy's is located in Pass Christian in a marina. Anyone who knows me knows that I love boats, marinas and the water, so a restaurant that has a view of all three could likely serve me an old shoe and I'd be happy. The view here is phenomenal. The restaurant has a very cool and funky vibe. At the bar were old men with their pony tails and beers living the true margaritaville lifestyle. I envisioned my dad sitting there with a pony tail, a scotch and a big ole grin. I also envisioned myself in 30 years quite hopeful that I am one of those guys. Imagine being able to wear a Hawaiian shirt, flip flops and never having to shave. That is my kind of life. Anyway, back to reality. The inside part of Shaggy's fills up very quickly, but that is OK. Outside is where you need to be unless there is inclement weather. Depending what side you sit on will determine how great your view is. I think the left side (when facing the gulf) offers the best view. That's the side that faces the marina. Sitting there, I envisioned myself living on one of the boats in 30 years stumbling to the bar with my other Hawaiian shirt wearing compadres. I love places like Shaggy's and there are far too left in this world. If you happen to be in the area, I strongly encourage you pay Shaggy's a visit. Even if you don't eat, sit around and dream.
This restaurant is so my kind of place. It has everything I love. Perfectly casual laid back vibe? Check. Friendly and sweet southern service? Check. Great music piping throughout (on the patio, even)? Check. A fantastic view? Check. Delicious food? Do I even have to say it? Check, check, check. To me, this place is perfection. If it were a man I'd marry it. It was on a whim that I happened to come here and wow...I'm so happy the stars aligned. I had the shrimp tacos and they were spicy and so delicious. The Bloody Mary was spicy and strong. The jerk shrimp appetizer was spicy and sweet. Being a girl who loves spice, all of this made me really happy. My mouth was on fire when I left and that is just how I like it. The real deal was the view. Please do yourself the biggest favor and sit outside. We were in a hurry and the wait for inside of the restaurant was 45 minutes. Outside? Zero. It was honestly the best choice I never had to make.

The food can be great or not so. They built a bar but the prices are soo high, nobody sits at the bar. Just as well because there is no bartender. New Orleans family cooking is good. Can't ever count on what day they will be open. Even weekends and holidays. They don't get it. I drive by and shake my head.

Great pizza and wings. Family owned and operated. Way better then any franchise pizza joints. I've been going there for two years and never had a bad experience.
Average food, reasonably priced but the thing that stands out the most, is the WHOLLY inappropriate music screaming from the kitchen, making conversation almost impossible along with the "urban" uncensored music emanating from above the bar. This was not a one time thing, but has been the atmosphere the last 3 times we have stopped for lunch. NO way I would bring kids, my parents or even someone I respected while this dynamic existed. Suggestion to the owner......Turn the kitchen music WAY down and pay attention to who has the remote at the bar. It's a restaurant...not Da Club.
Pizza was horrible. More sauce than cheese....more crust than pizza. Wings were from pigeons I think. Smallest wing I've ever seen. Hopefully it was a bad night for them but that was my first time eating there. Never go back for sure. If you don't smoke.....I bet you smoke about a pack from second hand smoke there. Overall experience was horrible. I like to support family business but it was a horrible experience. If I'm back over that way I'll choose Domino's. Better food and a lot CHEAPER! If you take kids there...might as well put a cigarette in their mouths!
