Edd’s Drive In

I've eaten at Edd's ever since I was a little girl, and it's still one of my favorite restaurants in the world! My usual is two chili dogs with a chocolate shake add banana. The chili is unbeatable and the shakes are all made with homemade ice cream. Be sure to give it a try if you can! There's also the original location in Pascagoula, MS.

Reviews:
This location is a step above other locations for two reasons: 1) non smoking dining 2) the entire Waffle House team greets you when you walk in. A simple "Good Morning" goes a long way! Other than that the food is consistent with other locations. The tables/booths are always clean and the salt and pepper shakers aren't sticky. I usually get the same breakfast every morning after church. Fiesta omelet, wheat toast, hash browns smothered and covered, extra crispy and a cup of orange juice to drink. I am getting hungry again typing this review...

I visit my family here some times. I'm from Texas so I have a pretty high bar when it comes to tex-mex but this place is the best mexican I've had here in ms.... I got the torta Melaniez?? It has the fried steak and avocado on it.... To die for!
This is mine & my family's favorite Mexican restaurant! Never had a bad meal or drink, service is always good & fast, & the restaurant itself is very nice & clean! My 12 year old likes it so much that this has been her go-to birthday dinner restaurant for the past 3 years! She chooses this place over anywhere on the gulf coast!
Great service, professional staff. Always willing to please & well mannered. They will also take the time to explain what a meal is and whether a particular item is very spicy or not. We stop in at Hacienda San Miguel every time we are in the area. Our most favorite meal is Coctel de Camerone, basically your shrimp cocktail. We have even, stopped when short on time & picked up two to go. This is not your ordinary item though, one dozen well cleaned very nice shrimp in a spicy sauce with fresh cilantro & onions. Topped with diced avocado & served w/club crackers. We have also tried the Salmon Cerviche and found it to be quite pleasant, as well as satisfying. Very colorful, as well as flavorful. Either item can be a meal by itself. The Sangria, by the glass is very nice also. Restrooms have always been clean & pleasant. The restaurant itself has a festive air and they do have patio seating, if desired.

Reviews:
Moved out to Louisiana from California and this is the closest thing to Cali Mexican food we have had. The rice and beans were great. It had a home feel to the food. If this place was closer to us in New Orleans I would definitely come back. My husband had the pork and it wasn't dry, it was really good. Price was great! $20 for both of us and it came with chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. I would recommend trying this place out. Had an authentic Mexican taste to it.
Great food and service. The food was flavorful and large portions, and the staff was extremely attentive and kind. We will absolutely continue to go here, very impressed.
Food was well cooked and portions were perfect, lived in southern California and this places Mexican food is up there with them. Will be coming back when in the area

Catfish Point Restaurant

Moss Point, 39562
Reviews:
Food here is good! We always pick up a gallon of Gumbo during the holidays to feed the family. The catfish is always fried perfect with the filets cut not too thin or thick. I just wish they were open more often. They are only open 3 days. :-/ On Friday nights you get a treat with live bluegrass music. I recommend going that night! Enjoy.....
Just bad all the way around. Gave a second star for the manager being polite about comping my entree. Seriously though I will not go back. It's called catfish point for a reason. Don't order anything else but that and only fried. It's the only thing that is just ok. I had the swamp potato and the seafood that was in it smelled bad and tasted worse. The grilled platter was over cooked and dry just bad with no flavor or sauce. It seems like a lot they serve is pre made frozen things. Onion rings was horrible. Given we were a big group so it's possible it could have been a little better if it didn't have to sit but I still can't imagine it would be much better. The live music was nice.
They call this a restaurant More like some food processing facility Service is non existent

The carhops are really nice and try really hard to make your experience memorable, that being said the food at this particular sonic seems to be prepared very lazily, your burger's condiments and toppings will be all slid to one side and the chili cheese tots didn't have cheese

Subway

Reviews:
This subway isn't the worst or best sandwich bar. If you get the owners who speak poor English you're in for an adventure but if you get one of their workers it's usually pretty good service obviously they're not overly Peppy or outgoing this is due to no tipping I'm sure, but at least they aren't rude. The food is OK the lettuce seems to be their hardest thing to keep up with I often see that it's wilting or turning red but everything else seems pretty average. overall I recommend if you're in a hurry to get a sandwich and don't want to drive the 15 miles to the next one.

Ruby Tuesday

6736 Highway 63
Moss Point, 39563
Reviews:
Decent restaurant for this area of town. Service is usually great. Staff have always been cordial and consistent. The best part part about any Ruby Tuesday is the salad bar. You can pretty much add the salad bar to your entree for extra. The next best thing here to me is the "minis."The tiny burgers will hit the spot.
Hit or miss at this restaurant. Some nights it's a solid four stars, good food and outgoing servers. But the last two times I went it wasn't great service, restaurant was dirty and the overall experience was pretty bad. But the food always remain 3 stars. Good, but not great.
Honestly, this Ruby Tuesday location is sub par in comparison to other locations. I have dined here several times because it is convenient located just off I-10, but I am letdown each time. The main thing I come for is the"fresh" salad bar. But the ingredients are always in disarray. The mushrooms are mixed with the green peppers and the cheese is mixed with the carrots etc......always you get the picture. They should have someone assigned to overlook the salad bar to ensure it is full and cleaned!! Each time I have visited, tables next to me have sent food back or have complained about the lack of service. C'mon Ruby Tuesday get it together!! I don't like posting reviews less than 3 stars. I will update my review once they get better.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Reviews:
Ate a great breakfast at the Moss Point Cracker Barrel today, went back for Supper. Was promptly seated and soon turned our order in at 6:40 and waited and waited. Others came in and were seated served and well underway eating. We were ignored and drank all of our water and ignored/shunned and at 7:16 our temper rose and we walked out. I regret we did so, but with my temper up i felt it was best. I've always had reasonable service at this site and will return, just not real soon. There is an excellent Mexican due south of the CB that we ate at tonight.
Another good location serving up the crispy pancakes that I love with a side of delish country ham.
We stopped here for breakfast after starting out early in the morning on the return trip of a Florida beach vacation. The food and service were good and lived up to our expectations.
