Clean restaurant and clean bar area. It took a little while to get our food but I expected that as a co-worker and I dropped in just after lunch our on a Sunday. The salads and garlic bread stick were great and my meal came out hot and very flavorful.

Wow! Never in a million years did I think the Olive Garden could be a terrible experience. The customer service provided by the server was great, which happens to be a norm in the south and is extremely awesome. However the food it's self... poop. So I'm not sure what the disconnect between my Olive Garden that I have come to know and love in San Diego to that of this location in Meridian. The food should taste the same! It's packaged all the same and sent out to all the locations to sell. Risotto was not risotto. Or maybe it was and it's just the quality of food due to it's new look/image since the restaurant chains "upgrade." Whatever. At least the salad was good and consistent. The one big thing I did immediately notice was the strong odor as you step into the location. It's bad! It smell like stinky feet and cleaning concoctions used at the bar. It's not a welcoming smell. Overall not happy with this place. That is all.

Restaurant was clean, server was awesome, food was great and hot. Didn't have to wait for a thing. Ate here for lunch with my husband and our kids. I had the grilled chicken flatbread and hubs had the Mediterranean flatbread. Kids had mac n cheese with fries, everyone was full and happy.

Stopped in to order carry out. Nearly two hours later they realized the order was never actually entered after I'd been told it would be out any moment multiple times. Once the food did come out it wasn't until I got home that I realized I was missing four meatball sides and the sauce for the toasted ravioli. I guess on the plus side we got an extra salad...if a large portion of iceberg lettuce is your thing. Edit: No plus side, we were charged for the extra salad after all.

Normally I love Olive Garden, but this was pretty lame. 1. Breadsticks were hard and cold. Ew. 2. Minestrone soup was also cold. 3. When we told the waitress about each of these, she just walked away without so much as an apology. The most she ever said was "okay". When she brought more soup, still cold. Meanwhile, there were like 5 other employees just standing around and talking. Wut. TL;DR terrible customer service and bad food.

Party of one. Passing through and dining light. I had calamari and asparagus. The food was really good and the server, Morgan was very attentive. All in all a great experience. I will be stopping here again next time I'm in the area.

The place was dirty, cloth napkins, silverwear, and straws all over the floor, the manager walked over them and didnt even bother to pick anything up, servers socializing at the hostess station while tables were dirty. We wanted to sit at the bar, there were several spots available but the bar was disgustingly sticky and the bartender didnt even bother to clean it, he was way too busy flirting with a server. We waited for 10 minutes for a server to clean one of the 20 tables that needed bussing. We should have walked out, but ended up just eating our salad, didnt order anything else. i cant imagine how dirty the kitchen is, if the outside is dirty i cant imagine how it looks behind the black kitchen doors. This place is terrible, save your money and go to chick-fil-a. I'm giving this place one star because our server was very pleasant.

Food was mediocre, service was poor. My mom order soup and was mostly broth and here refills didn't get much better. My food was ok. Glad I don't have to back there again.

I'm going to keep this short and simple... I'm over Olive Garden. The food is not that great. I only gave it 2 stars because this Southern service is just great! That's about all.

I went here with my wife and a couple of friends and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. First, there was a 20 minute wait, and yet while waiting, I went to the bathroom, which required a walk through the restaurant to the back, and more than half of the tables were empty and all set for people to eat. Why the lobby area was full of people (there were many parties, not one giant party) with most of the restaurant empty? Granted, this was this past Friday night, but the restaurant was not packed. But whatever. The service was generally good and pleasant, but the waitress dropped a dish with marinara sauce on the floor next to me and the sauce splattered all over me. She was very apologetic and cleaned it up, but didn't offer to comp anything on our order or anything like that. All that being said, I don't know if it was this particular location or Olive Garden in general, but the food quality was terrible. The salad looked like it was on it's last hours and was wilted. All of the pasta was worse than anything you could buy at home and make for yourself. The bread sticks were good as usual, but everything else was lacking in quality. If I had to offer a suggestion to anyone reading this, it would be to look elsewhere in the area. There are a ton of other restaurants within a stones throw away, so take your dollars and your feet elsewhere.

Wife ordered Basil & Spinach Chicken. There was NO basil in the dish and the spinach was raw with the chicken plopped on top with some sauce poured over it. I called the waitress over and asked about the basil. She apologized and promptly went to the kitchen and brought out some raw basil as if that would make it all better. I wonder what she and the cook thought we were supposed to do with the basil? Aaaaaaarg.

The meal was okay at best. I don't even remember what I ordered. What I do remember is the service. One of the members of our party did not get her meal until the rest of us were half through eating. And she just ordered the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. That should've been the easiest meal to prepare. Then, both bills reached the table with erroneous charges. There were two kids charged for adult meals, and those particular meals were on the bills for both parties! In other words, not only were we being charged too much for those two meals, but being charged twice! When we addressed the issue with our waiter, the bills were adjusted and brought back to the table, only to prove that there was obviously still some confusion. It was just an awkward experience all around. Once again, there were no complaints about the food, just a little frustration with the service.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
