This places was great, so long as you don't have issues with cleanliness. I can look past all that, I've been in Hattiesburg for a week and the 3 best places I ate were possibly the 3 sketchyest I've ever eaten at. These po boys are authentic and fantastic! The bread, be careful, it will wear your jaw out. The onion rings, you can tell they make it and it's not tossed in the fryer out of a freezer bag You must completely look past the look of the place to enjoy the great food made by hard working people

Headed back to Dallas and we found this place on yelp. The Soft shell crab Po boy was excellent And the onion rings tasted homemade; great price at $7.95 I would come back again. Not much to look at but what they save an overhead they put back into the quality of the food making it affordable to eat here definitely worth your time.

Shrimp Po-boy, gumbo and gravy fries. Dayum! Nothing more to say. Atmosphere of a 1970's Dairy Queen. I don't care.

A friend and I were in the Hattiesburg area a few weeks ago for work and we were craving some Po Boys. We came here based on Yelp reviews and thought it quite interesting to see that they were also known for their Fried Rice, Fried Eggrolls and Ground Mullet (some type of fish) as well. We both ordered Po Boys and were expecting something better. The bread was a little bit too flaky for our tastes.

Not a huge fan of their poboys. Shrimp is too shrimpy and bread is too chewy. I do like their shrimp fried rice and chicken.

Great poboys. The French bread is the best I have had in Hattiesburg. More of a takeout place than a sitdown place.

When you're craving a po' boy on your drive through Mississippi, where do you go? In our case, on our way to Memphis from New Orleans, we stopped at Peter's Po Boys. Very casual food-stand environment, but the price were cheap and my shrimp po' boy was excellent -- definitely better than the fried oyster po' boy. The egg roll was pretty good too and it came with duck sauce!

This place was average. The shrimp were small. If you are hurting for a Poboy then go for it, otherwise I would say go somewhere else.

Possibly the best shrimp Po Boy in Hattiesburg. Go for the food, because the atmosphere won't impress you. Pleasant employee/owner.

I am particular about my Oyster PoBoys and Peter's exceeded all expectations. Great bread, great sauce, and plenty of great oysters. Fries were very good and service is amazingly fast. Check it out.

Peter's Po Boys is well known in the burg as the best Po Boys in town. In season soft shell crab YUM!! I haven't found a better shrimp Po Boy for a hundred miles around. The seafood connection is in the 'family'. Oh I miss Petah's Poboahhs. The bread is correct, the portions are large. Don't mind the facility, you are here for the food. The large PoBoy is like, 18 inches!

hot gumbo + gravy fries + hot sausage = fuck me this is phenomenal! I can't believe I'm the first mofo reviewing this spot. Especially since it's been here since '84. Probably has the best gumbo known to man...true story. They have a variety of poboys but my faves are roastbeef, hot sausage, and scrimp. All fresh, served on a warm french baguette! Best 6 inches you'll ever have ladies....

Best po boys around north of New Orleans! I love their lunch with fried chicken, fried rice and egg roll. My husband either gets roast beef with gravy and cheese ( yes we long for Phile cheesesteaks) OR a half shrimp, half oyster. Never had ANYTHZiNG here that wasn't good, so go and eat NOW!

I understand the whole Asian Cajun thing now. There are egg rolls and fried rice. There are po boys running from $6-9 for a 7-inch. Everything is fried except the boiled shrimp. Wow, those boiled shrimp were massive. They had this delicious cajun seasoning and garlic butter with cut up potatoes. Delicious! Peter's also has some specials and fried soft shell crab. Yep, you eat the shell! Everything is made to order, and they are open at 10 am. Be presently surprised even you go in and aren't sure if the food is really going to be good!
