The location listed here is not operating.they moved way up hwy.98 almost to oak grove.i went searching for a bit but found it.i bought the oyster poboy. The trip wasn't really worth it at all.their food may be fresh but it was bland.even adding cheese(which wasn't even melted)didn't enhance taste by much and the salt less fries were a complete joke.seafood is expected to be a little exspensive but I spent too much on this meal and wasn't satisfied.

Great food and and a friendly staff! The shrimp po-boys are every bit as good as anything I have ever had in New Orleans. The owners are from that area so it makes sense. Food is always seasoned to perfection. I have had the boiled shrimp as well and found them to be excellent! If you find this food "too spicy" please stick to McDonalds, Wendy's and the like. Leave the grown up food to the rest of us.

Stop by here and save the gas going to N O. Great seafood and poorboy. Casual eating or take out. A great fresh fish counter with crawfish, oysters, shrimp, and various kinds of fish that you can take with you. I eat here at least once a week.

This is one of the best seafood options in Hattiesburg! My fiancé and I have ate our way through the town and this is our favorite. Food is very well seasoned, prices are reasonable and service is quick!

This is not the place for a fancy dinner. This is a hole-in-the-wall with plastic checkered table cloths with perfectly cooked crabs for purchase. It is a seafood market with tables. You buy what you want and refill your own drinks. Delicious. I do mean - DELICIOUS!!!! I highly recommend the seafood here. I was very, very, very pleased with the Dungeness crabs, and my man can't stop raving about them to anyone who will listen. They pulled apart easily, and the clusters were several dollars less than they would cost us here in Ocean Springs. They were perfectly seasoned and we will probably be back here as often as our wallet allows.

Try this hidden gem near downtown Hattiesburg. The shrimp PO-BOY is loaded with shrimp. The Roast Beef PO-BOY has a great gravy. You must try the Corn and Crab Bisque! It has lump crab claw meat ...yummy! Can't wait to bring my friends here for a taste of New Orleans.

Wow!!!! This is the best seafood joint I've had in a long long time! It's a hole in the wall but amazing.... The PO boy was awesome and the seafood plate was great too! The fried oysters and the fried shrimp were the best! The crab cake PO boy is also amazing!!!! If you haven't tried this gem, you should!

We ate at the Hwy 98 location for the first time yesterday because we needed shrimp for a dinner party and their fish market is tied to the restaurant. When we arrived there were two other tables with occupants. It took nearly 45 minutes before we finally got our food. I had a shrimp po-boy and my wife had fried shrimp (yes it was just a shrimp day). The food was nothing to write home about for the prices charged. I got severe food poisoning and am just now starting to feel a little better. As for the fish market we asked if we could have the shrimp deheaded, peeled and deveined. The answer was NO, we do not have time for that. Then they responded that they might be able to get to it hours later but that it would cost much much more. The guy was arrogant and rude. When asked if we could at least have some ice, they provided some with a big sigh. Overall I would highly recommend that you not even slow down if you see this place. There are much better choices in Hattiesburg. In fact any choice is a better choice. SG

This restaurant is literally the best seafood restaurant that Hattiesburg has to offer. The owners are from New Orleans so if you looking for the real thing come here. They have real poboy bread and if your from New Orleans you know what that means. They also sell the times picayune newspaper in there along with New Orleans spices like zatarans... Etc... Poboy s are made to order, very fresh. There gumbo is fabulous as well. Very well priced. If you yearn for that New Orleans food but don't want to drive , stop here for a quick fix, I know you will not leave with an empty stomach.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES buy cooked shimp from these people! They are as tough as beef jerky and way overspiced. It is obvious that this business has no idea how to properly cook shrimp. The order we had was EXTREMELY OVERCOOKED . Shop elsewhere for shrimp.
