Worst service anywhere in a long time. Came in with a large group but split into several tables in the bar area because they could accommodate us. Suggested they handle checks by separate table since we were no longer a group sitting together but they said they had it under control. It became obvious they didn't. The servers failed to place orders for appetizers and some entrees, several orders had the wrong sides, several steaks were undercooked and some people just gave up and didn't because their food never arrived. The manager brought out my order and called out for who had a half rack of ribs. I said that I had a full rack and he then the server insisted that it was a full rack even though it was a small 7 bone rack. The kid next to me ordered a half rack and got 5 bones. WTF? I wont be back to this or any Logan's based on this. Franchise restaurant crap. I should have known. After asking for the checks we waited for 30 minutes for them to figure it out using their system. No one even said sorry. Bottom line, avoid like the plague.

Ordered a rare prime rib & came out well done. How do you mess up RARE! Especially at a steakhouse. Manager was an ass about it too. What ever happened to customer service. Good bread & nuts that's what got 2 stars.

After a long day of golf figured we would stop on by and have a few drinks before heading on home. Happy hour Rita's and domestic draft beer are 2 for one. Good deal :) Salads with the Parmesan peppercorn dressing is EXCELLENT. Rolls well umm ya we got them as we were completely done. Not the bartenders fault. He did ask 3 different people to deliver the rolls. Each one either forgot or didn't feel like it. Mind you we watched other tables get basket after basket of rolls. All in all not bad but not great. I agree with Rick, sometimes it's great service other times it leaves you scratching your head. Oh and the peanuts were stale. Asked the bartender about this and I guess once a month they run down till they don't have any more to get rid of the over stocked peanuts. Well if you just so happen to go during that time your getting the bottom of the barrel of peanuts and they are stale and chewy. Just pass them up ;)

We went here early in the afternoon, not crowded, but more crowded once we were leaving. I was not overly impressed with the dishes we were served. I had the 10oz Logan sirloin and my dining partner had the ribs and chicken. The chicken and sauce seemed a bit on the processed side. He loved the ribs. The skewered veggies were almost cooked right but they were nearly cold, which killed the sense of being at a bbq. Ceasar salad had a lot of dressing on it, and they were out of croutons! The baked sweet potatoes were very good had just come out of the oven I think. The rolls came out on time and they were warm and tasty. The staff seemed more concerned with the phone calls and chatting with their friends than waiting on customers. The host at the door is buying a gift today for his girlfriend and had little time to wave us toward a seating hostess, we had to go retrieve our own silverware due to this. I'd say to try 5 Guys across the street if you are just out for a burger.....just sayin. There were far too many peanut shells on the floor, I know they are supposed to make it look like a real old fashioned roadhouse, but there were about 2 layers of shells on the floor and the entryway before you go inside the front door was very dirty and littered upon entry.

Outstanding service and the fried chicken salad and the steak salad tasted great. Will be returning soon! Thanks for a great experience here at Logan's!

Service is always good here even when crowded. The waitstaff is attentive and a manager generally comes by to check on everything. Stay away from the fried pickles. You know what you are going to get when you go to this level steakhouse. Expect sub-par steaks but of above average value. Nice bar and plenty TV's.

Go here if you want to eat your food about an hour after you order. Got there at 5pm order placed about 5:15. Got drinks & rolls right away. Then at 6pm got the food. People that came after us have (4 in there group) have eaten & left before we got ours. Manager even came over and said sorry and just said that our order was put in late. the waitress admitted she forgot to put it in & that's why it was late. Even told her we had to be somewhere as for 6. His chicken was super dry & he showed her when he cut it & all she could say was oh I had it earlier it was fine. Figured they would discount bill or something for their screwup but nothing. Very disappointed with this place and will not go back!

Well first impressions are a big deal so here I go. We have never dined here and wanted a steak. I got a sirloin and my guy got the ribeye/ribs Friday special. We both ordered medium rare. Mine was cooked right, his came out well done. So by time they bring him out a new one I was done. My biggest pet peeve is well you guessed it, serving the meal at different times. There was a staff of managers running around checking on people but why bother when they do mess up and say some crap like ' I hope the second one was better' There is no question the food was good but when the service lacks it takes away the food quality. Well I will check them off because I won't be back. And no, we gave the server a $12 tip on $55- not her fault if the 'management' is well, something other then customer service oriented.

Sigh... Steak pet peeve #1: Too dry. If you could anti-marinate a steak, this steak would be the result. Verdict: Guilty Steak pet peeve #2: It has virtually no flavor, and the only steak sauce available is A-1. Verdict: Guilty Steak pet peeve #3: Fake grill lines, made by manufacturers and encouraged by chain restaurants to try to pretend that they actually spend time preparing their food. Verdict: Guilty Steak pet peeve #4: The restaurant names the steak after the restaurant, implying that it is unique and amazing, when it is the most generic crappy franchise steak possible. Verdict: Guilty The ribs my friend ordered were pretty good. If that had not been the case, this would have been a two star review at most. Other than that, expect typical mediocre chain food. Service is okay. The place was kind of dirty, but they were doing the peanut shells on the floor thing, so I can't really hold that against them.

Our waitress, Jana, was extremely nice. Very accurate with orders and suggestions. Food came out on a timely manner and was correct. No send backs!!!! First time coming here and will definitely be back. It was quite a gem. Thanks Jana for a great meal.

Stopped here for lunch when going to the outlet as food at the outlet sucks. We were greeted and seated immediately. We had a booth and the table was moveable so I was able to place the infant car seat beside me with no hassle. The waitress was friendly and promptly took our drinks order. She also regularly checked on us throughout. They had a special which was 2 entrees with 2 sides each for $13.99. Off of this had the Santa Fe tilapia. Now to be honest I can really only rate this with half my mouth as half my mouth was numb from anesthesia. The half I tasted was good. The food came quickly, was hot and smelt good before even tasting it A quick and easy lunch option. FYI I believe the 13.99 special is Monday - Wednesday

Man oh man. We really need a better selection here in Gulfport. Logan's was a last minute decision. A bad last minute decision. Location: well it's at crossroads. They do the peanut shell on the floor thing. It just feels extra dirty now. The tables are covered with so much crap too (bottles, buckets, stands, lamp). There's just no dern room for anything. The menus are huge and in the shape of a stupid bucket. You can't lay it down and read it because you'll cover up the person in front of you. Service: slow. Period. Period. Dot. Period. Food: Meh at best. The steaks ordered were either way over cooked or way under cooked. Outside was charred so bad that it felt like a turtle shell. The cuts seemed of the lowest grade as there were so tough and had tons of gristle. The brown gravy on the mash was sooooo salty it made it not edible. I had to use a roll, which was the best part, to soak up the gravy and throw it aside. Ribs that were ordered were dry and charred again. Everything came out cold. Even the remake of the steaks. Overall...2 stars for the rolls and the beer on tap. Other than that, I'd do an appetizer here at most. What happened Logan's?

My family and I frequent Logan's quite often, the food is always good and the Beer is always cold. Service is hit and miss at times but the bar area has a great atmosphere with lots of TVs. My wife and I like going there on weekends and sit at the bar and drink down a couple of cold ones, it's a great place to do that and just hang out.

The food here is typical chain-restaurant quality, which is hit or miss... sometimes it's good, sometimes not! The A+ to this location, however, is it's super-friendly staff... (so far!)

Don't know about the other reviews but my experience was really good. Went on a busy Friday night with my wife and kids. The service was prompt and the food was great. The steak was prepared just right and the rolls were 450 degrees hot. The waitresses were all friendly and kept my tea above half. Not to mention a Logan's supports the Military and gives a discount with ID. Oh and the bathroom was clean. Overall, well done!

After my husband and I had a bad experience trying to eat prime rib at O'Charley's, we decided to leave that establishment and visit Logan's for a steak dinner. Unfortunately, our dinner at Logan's wasn't that great, and again it centered on the quality of the meat. Since we had horrible luck at O'Charley's trying to get a good prime rib, we decided to just order the ribeye steak at Logan's. We asked for it to be cooked medium rare, but instead when our steaks arrived they were well done and quite over cooked. So we sent our plates back and tried again, and after waiting close to 25 minutes, our steaks came to our table via the manager. While my husbands steak was fine, mine was not seasoned, which meant it had very little flavor. And both of our steaks had way too much fat and gristle on them as well. We had already wasted too much time waiting for our second steaks to arrive, so I didn't send my plate back and instead just salted my steak to death in order to bring out a little flavor in it. We also both ordered the sauteed mushrooms as a side item, and the mushrooms came to us almost cold and with very little flavor as well. When we mentioned this to the manager, he did make things right by not charging me for my dinner, especially since I barely ate half of my steak before all that salt I had to pour on it for flavor got to me. I'm not sure what is going on in the Gulfport area that you can't seem to be able to find a decent piece of steak without paying Ruth Chris prices, but it seems to just be getting worse year by year. Logan's used to be a nice place to eat, but at this point, they seem more focused on offering good drinks and a sports bar atmosphere than serving good food. We won't be back to this place for a while.

I've gone here twice and both times have been good experiences. First, I went for lunch and had one of their burgers. Not the best but pretty tasty. Yesterday, I decided to try dinner there for the first time. I went for the "Logan" which was a 10 oz sirloin. Price was very good and the food turned out to be great. I'll definitely go back.

I am a little apprehensive about giving 4 stars because it, like all chains, is inconsistent. We have been here numerous times in the last 3 years and we never know what to expect from the food or the wait staff. Our experiences have run the gamut. Food has been excellent and mediocre and service has been great and scary. Once our waitress even introduced herself with, "I'm having a bad day". I only recommend it because I feel that when it is good, it is very good. Usually a pretty good wait for dinner, but the peanuts abound.
