My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way down to New Orleans. We couldn't wait to have some good Cajun/Creole food and found this place on our travels. First, the staff was very friendly, thank you! The food was good, but not what you would expect in New Orleans. I ordered the daily special Po Boy; shredded chicken with crawfish and cream on top served open face with green beans and mashed potatoes. The sandwich was tasty, but the chicken was a little dry, the sauce helped... The potatoes were homemade and the green beans were out of a can. I liked the seasoning on the green beans, but they were cooked to mush. My girlfriend had a cup of the seafood gumbo, which was very good. It was serviced with lots of shrimp, crawfish and chicken. She also got the blackened catfish Po Boy, which was good. I thought the fish was small and could have been seasoned more, but it was cooked well and tasted very fresh. I don't know if we will be back to the area, but I would stop if I was hungry and driving through town.

Appetizers and dinner were delicious. I had the grilled shrimp on fried green tomatoes and it was perfect. The seafood gumbo was great - all of the seafood we had was great and not rubbery or overcooked. We also had the BBQ shrimp which was amazing. I can't say enough good things about the art work, food, wine and hospitality. It is the best dining I have had in Grenada!

Yum! We were in town for Training and decided to eat here because it was Fat Tuesday and this restaurant is Cajun. While I was disappointed they didn't do anything special for the holiday, we couldn't have asked for better food or service. Since there was only one chef and one waitress, the chef Sat us and came out and checked on us again after we received our meal. She and the waitress were so sweet! I had the Loaded Shrimp and Grits which was richly delicious and filling. Of course, after a meal that delicious I had to try the dessert, so I got the limoncello cake to go. Also delicious! Great good, sweet staff, and a hometown feel . . . You gotta try this place!

Two words: Voodoo Burger! Mmmm! Mmmm! Well, I guess that's two words and a couple of sounds. Either way, it equals a happy tummy and happy taste buds! Then, there is the Jubilee Burger, that is filled with Smoked Gouda INSIDE the angus patty! Then, there is the tuna....then.... Oh, you get the idea! Bring your appetite and leave satisfied!

I've had the privilege to travel extensively. The steak here was as good as $100 steaks in big city restaurants. Thanks so much for the great dinner with my wife.

Great place to go if you want someone to call the cops on you for no good reason.

They have a wide variety of appetizers of different styles and a pretty varied entree menu as well. The ambience, wine, food, dessert ....all excellent. The food was delicious, the service was attentative but not overbearing, the decor was attractive but comfortable, and the price was fine. The best steak I have ever had and I am fussy. I strongly recommend.

Pluses: . The building resembled French Quarter architecture . Attractive decor helped give an authentic feel . Wait staff was nice Minuses: . Food preparation was slow . A cold roll (right out of the package) was provided atop so-so cuisine I expect this place to discontinue business within the year. In a nutshell: If you wanna dine at a New Orleans bistro, and you're less than a 5-hour-drive from there ... then go to New Orleans.

Food was amazing! Don't need to say much else. Best food I've had out here so far. Had some seafood gumbo to start with (pictured) and then the stuffed catfish. Wow.... Doesn't get much better....

Exorbitant but charming. This down-town night haunt distinguishes itself in north Mississippi though its New Orleans style. White table cloths, folded, napkins, ice-water served; you get the picture. When you order rare they give it to you rare. This is the mark of an accomplished cook-staff. You might as well spend the $30 for it when a fish plate will run toward $20. Surprisingly, the fried mushrooms were tastier than the steak. The steak could hold its own but lacked any zing at all. It was a quality cut but rather bland. One advantage this place has is that it is very quiet. You could hear a cat prowling for a mouse. Luckily, there were neither rats nor cats to be seen.

Wanted to eat somewhere different while in Grenada. Not sure if the food is good or not. Our waitress was not on her game tonight. She took our order for appetizers which was a cup of red beans and rice and a cup of gumbo. She came back and took our order for our meal and no appetizers. Another couple came in their waiter took drink , appetizer and meal order and they received their appetizer of fried green tomatoes and we still had no appetizers. I asked the waiter if he could just cancel our appetizer order because our meal should be out soon. He went an check on it and brought our appetizers. Our waitress came by and said she didnt know what was wrong with the kitchen being so slow tonight. We kept waiting thinking our meal would be delivered at anytime. No luck ,the other couple received their meal. I asked again about our meal since they came in after us and we still didn't have our meal. He went to check, we ended up and just left. We did try to pay for our drinks and appetizers but I assuming the lady at the front must be the owner told us we didn't have to pay for it after explaining to her what happen. Sure would have liked to have tried the madri gras pasta and bacon wrapped. shrimp that we ordered. Maybe just an off night, may try again when we are in Grenada.

So we drove 20 Miles to get here and it's not open! That will teach me to call ahead next place we want to stop at!

What a great meal! Very surprised to find such wonderfully prepared dishes in such a small town. If you can, all to sit under the tree sculpture. Very romantic. We had the special of the evening, which was two 4 oz steaks on brioche, with grilled Onions and blue cheese crumbles. Very well prepared and tasty.
