Very clean and friendly! Fast service too! I had the hot and sour soup and Kung pao shrimp. The soup had really good flavor to it but not much in it! With that being said it was only $1.50 sooo I guess you get what you pay for. The Kung pao was good! Lot of big shrimp! I didn't care for the rice. I asked for steam rice but it looked like brown rice. If I had better rice to go with my dish I would have given them 4 stars.

Don't be fooled by the outside or the inside for that matter, this place is a gem. I use to come here all the time when I was stationed her over 6 years ago and nothing has changed. The Food is delicious, super cheap and the portions are big. the shrimp egg Foo young is by far my favorite dish. It's prepared perfectly and the portion is huge! They have changed their recipe a little where the sauce is a little sweet now. It's still good but I do prefer the previous recipe.at the end you get these little fried sugared donuts that are soooooo good. I ate all of them much to my husband's dismay. What? I'm pregnant, give me a break. And if dining in is not on the agenda you can do take out. I was worried the food would suffer, but it was just as good when I got it home. This place is my go to place when I need that Chinese fix.

Such a great find in D'Iberville! We ordered way too much food, the portions are huge! Wonton soup: broth had good flavor, didn't taste like cheap bouillon. Wontons were fresh and yummy! Hot and sour soup: delicious flavor, but the broth was too gloopy for my taste. I wish it had more tofu and mushrooms in it. Roast pork lo mein: YUM. Actual visible pieces of pork and veggies. Noodles were perfect. King pao chicken: so impressed with the amount of veggies in this dish! Lots of zucchini, carrot, water chestnuts, mushrooms and green peppers (all obviously fresh) in addition to lots of chicken. Very tasty. Sweet and sour chicken: the sauce was SO GOOD, it didn't taste like corn syrup! It actually had flavor. So yummy. The chicken was a touch over fried but dipped in the sauce it was so good. Also included lots of green pepper, onion and pineapple. I called in our order for take out and it was ready in less than 15 minutes, AND they included free doughnuts! All in all my husband and I were really impressed with the quality of the food and we will definitely go back. Now please excuse me as I drift into my Chinese food coma... :)

We ordered takeout on Christmas because I was too sick to complete our tradition of going out for Chinese on Christmas day. The soup was relatively good, but everything else was pretty bland. They have very good prices though.

This is a great little lunch spot. You get a full lunch for $4.95! Soup, eggroll, rice and main entree. Pretty extensive menu to choose from. You get your food fast so if you are in a rush give it a try. The building and furnishings are quite run down. It's definitely not the absolute best Chinese food I've ever eaten but it is good and the price is right. It is worth giving it a try.

Despite the less than perfect decor, the food is really good and very reasonably priced (especially at lunch time). I would suggest the Mongolian beef if you want to try it out and maybe some egg drop soup. And if you eat at diner time, they serve you a plate of sweet buns just for the heck of it.

I think this place is worth checking out, despite its flaws. I've driven by the place many times and never thought to go in, but the reviews on Yelp were positive so I decided I'd give it a chance. From the outside this place looks a little weird, but the inside is alright. Especially by Chinese restaurant standards, this place looks exactly how it should. The menu had lots of variety. I placed a to-go order and my food came out really fast, almost too fast, which suggests to me that it's not that the food isn't fresh (as in it's premade and waiting to serve under heat lamps or something.) Regardless, the food is quite tasty. And the portions are more than adequate, so it's really a great value. I ordered crab rangoons as appetizers and then beef and snow peas, which came with white rice (although you have the option of ordering fried rice.) They gave me more than enough sweet and sour sauce with the rangoons, which I give them credit for. Usually these type of places try to skimp on the sauce. However, when I opened the lid of the container, I saw a seemingly plastic string floating atop the sauce. It was kind of off putting, but I fished it out and ate it anyway. The crab rangoons were tasty, but I feel they kind of skimped on the crab. The filling was mainly cream cheese. I could see bits of crab, but I couldn't taste it. Finally, the beef and snow peas plate was very delicious, and they gave me so much that I couldn't finish it. The beef was very tender. But as I'm writing this I find myself a bit thirsty, so I assume there has to be MSG in the food. Not the best Chinese food place I've ever been to, but this place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for Chinese, as it adds to the lacking culinary landscape of Biloxi.

Don't let the location or building exterior dissuade you. This is a fantastic little (12 table) Chinese restaurant. Unlike all the discount Chinese buffets in the area, Bamboo is menu-based and high quality. We had Orange Beef that was actually both sweet and spicy. The beef was soft and moist and the batter was crispy. The sauce had the traditional orange/citrus notes ... but I was knocked out when I also detected Tamarind! Kudos to the Chef for striving for excellence! Similarly, the Chicken and Vegetables was inhaled by my daughter ... before I even got a bite! And Janette reported great House Lo Main and Veggies. We even received free dessert dumplings ... Mmmmmmmmm! Give this place a try. We will definately be back!

Small place..out of the way...very small dining area. The food portions are huge...and everything was hot. The food was ok (at best). Definitely not the best tasting chinese food I've ever had. It was nice to find a place to feed the family for a cheap price but as others had indicated, it's not very flavorful.

This place is a great cheap place to take a family of four and walk out for less than $35 and have a great meal. It is not a high class place but the food is cooked to order always hot and fresh and for a very fair price. I like the sesame chicken and everything else we have tried has been good also. We go at least once every two weeks. Lunch is only $4.99

I had heard good things about this small family owned business and decided to drop by for lunch. Located on Lamey Bridge Road just off the main drag in D'Iberville at the old Doughnut Land location. Both my partner and I opted for the lunch special which was reasonably priced. Lunches come with soup, egg roll, steamed or fried rice and an entree. Our soups were good but after that pretty much everything was downhill. Although I ordered fried rice with my entree what I received was more like stale rice, the egg roll was bland and soggy and the chicken in my entree wasnt firm but mushy. I woulda been much happier had we ended up at a buffet just down the road. The staff were freindly but the interior doesn't look like it was re-modeled after Katrina.

URGHHH BLEHHH I'm sorry, being a huge supporter of family-owned restaurants, this place is REVOLTING! Sickeningly distasteful, at the very best. The Egg Young Foo... I actually have no words to describe it; it was full of condensed trash that I can't even depict a flavor out of it. Lemon chicken was absolutely smothered, and I mean absolutely asphyxiated with the sauce. It felt like I was playing some crude game of lemon heads. We tried to give them constructive criticism in a very passive way, only to get a shrug and a bill written in Chinese. Really cute Bamboo.

Possibly the worst food I've ever tasted, everything had a fishy taste. I ordered the curry, there were no spices, it was a pile of horrible mushy slop.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
