OMG...three things... 1. Please change your frying oil, or at least get it up to proper temperature. My and my sister's fried pickles orders tasted like a limp and dead animal. 2. For $2.49 a side macaroni and cheese should use real cheese and not some odd cheese sauce. That's just cheap, and insulting. 3. My mother ordered a fried-cheese burger. The server asked which side my mother would like and I pointed out on the menu that my mother could pick from rice pilaf, cole slaw, or fries. The server said, "No, she can pick from all the sides on the back of the menu." My mother picked a Caesar salad and was charged an extra $2.49 for that. When I said something about that on the final bill, we were told that salad was an "up-sell." My mother felt taken advantage of. My mother and I got out of Logan's for only $33, but my sister is still depressed about her family's low-rate meal's costing over $80. Bud Light on tap was great, though, and very icy, which I appreciated. No bread was offered to us, which would've been nice in this case, given that everything else was a bust.

Great place, made a reservation and we came in like 30 deep one day and they took care of all of us. Their frozen lemonade drink is bomb af.

We've eaten here numerous times and usually been quite satisfied. Tonight is the exception. Twice we've ordered now and twice our waitress has returned to tell us they are out of ALL filets and all salmon. It's Tues at 7pm. Who's running the kitchen here? She tells us this 'happens all the time.' Great. Sounds like moral is taking a hit as well. Get it together guys...there are a LOT of options within a mile of this place for this same kind of food and atmosphere.

I have never been in a logan's that I was so disappointed in .This logan's should not be able to use that franchise name. We came from vacation to take our family out to dinner they all decided that logans was the place to go so off we wnt we arrived at around 630 and we were seated very promptly. Then thats when the trouble began the waitress took our order and we got drinks and 2 app fried mushrooms and potato skins we asked that all app be delivered before our salad and meal. The waitress delivered our dinks but no app then arrived our salad but no refills on drinks or apps finally came the mushrooms but no potato skins the waitress finally came over and said they had to bake new potatoes to make the skins and they would not come to the table until after the meal was delivered. Still few refills the meal came two out of five were still raw needed to be sent back manger said that she could fix the steak but not the way the apps were done her hands were tied but as far as the steak was concerned she could fix that she explained that she could smooze us out of being upset that it was now around 8 oclock and we had to wait for the other steak to come we got it to go because by this time every one else was done. The country fried steak that was order had just one lttle piece of steak in it the manager explain that is was just bad product that they had. I will say the manger did take the country fried steak off the bill because the person that ordered it did not take a bite of the breading. I will say that logans did explain that there was a larger party in the place that is way ours was so unacceptable also that logans has a new policy to not comp even a little of the bill. So I will say logan's got our money but these customers sure received no satisfaction and not a good meal.

So we showed up at 1 on a Sunday and asked for a table for 6 + highchair. It took 20 minutes for them to seat us at a giant round table for 9 with two empty tables for 6 right next to us. We ordered appetizers which came after the salads, and the dinner rolls also didn't show up until after the salads had been eaten. I ordered the salmon after which I was told that they were out of the salmon, so I ordered the steak salad which is my usual gluten free standby. I asked for no tomatoes and no croutons and she brought me back a salad covered in croutons. I told her I couldn't eat the salad with croutons and I needed to have a new salad because I was allergic to gluten and the croutons couldn't just be picked out. She brought me back a salad a little while later which when I cut into the first piece of steak it was completely raw. I like my steak rare, but not mooing at me still. The avocado was so hard that I couldn't even stab it with my fork so I decided to try and pick the avocado out and that was when I found the croutons in the bottom of my salad, so they obviously just picked the croutons out and brought me back the same salad. My husband asked to speak to the manager and the manager kept arguing with him basically calling him a liar. They did take the salad off the bill but on arriving home I checked the receipt and we were charged for an extra appetizer that we didn't order. I don't care to ever come back here. The reason for the two stars is because my kids were happy with their corn dogs and macaroni and cheese. We also had to get up and refill our water three seperate times because the waitress never came to refill our water.

Our experience at Logan's tonight... Well, it wasn't entirely terrible. The food was edible. That's the nicest way I can describe it. Lets start with the positives, shall we? The rolls were hot and fresh. Our side house salads were good (The husband's had way too much dressing on it, but that's all on him since he neglected to order the dressing on the side. ALWAYS. A MUST. I digress). My onion petals and his baked potato were on point. We each ordered the Logan sirloin, onion-brewski style or however they call it, and the topping was good. Maybe a touch too much herb butter on top, but we are in the South. Whatever. Tasted good. So what kept this meal from being good? The steaks. You would think, as an establishment that describes themselves as a steakhouse, that they would know how to cook a steak. Not so, as we discovered tonight. We both ordered medium-rare to medium steaks. They came out, looking delicious and mouthwatering, both sporting adorable little blue "MEDIUM" flags. We cut into them... Nope. Not even close. These steaks were so well done they could have been used as doorstops. We could have sent them back, yes, but from receiving our salads to receiving our entrees took a good twenty minutes... Enough time that even the free peanuts lost their appeal, because I wanted my meal! So we were faced with a decision, and we chose to stick with the overdone steaks rather than with what would have been probably fifteen more minutes to get new ones. I was hungry, y'all. At least they had A1 already on the table... A definite necessity to make these steaks palatable. We made it through the meal, thankfully our waitress was very attentive and the service was good. However, I doubt we will be back.

For anyone who's ever eaten at Texas Roadhouse, you'll be disappointed by comparison with your experience at Logan's Roadhouse. The premise is almost the same - there are free peanuts to keep you busy while you wait for your meal, but I'm not sure if you can throw the shells on the ground and make a mess like you can at Texas Roadhouse (the floor was pretty clean when I came to Logan's.) At Texas Roadhouse, there's country music on, and every hour or so the servers will get up and do a line dance. No such atmosphere at Logan's, which may or may not be a plus to you, depending on your preference. Food-wise, the food was passable, but I don't think it was particularly prepared well. I had the filet mignon with the onion petals. The onion petals are just a poor imitation of Outback's "Bloom'in onion" down to the zesty sauce. To their credit, the filet was soft and tasty. However, the service was horrible. My server was nice enough, but the place wasn't even packed and I he barely ever came by the table. He checked up on me once, as an afterthought walking by my table as he brought plates back into the kitchen. I don't even need to be checked up on a lot, but I had to wait 20 minutes for him to bring out my check, and that's just unacceptable.

I could not cut my steak because it was so tough. The waitress said maybe the knife was dull. Food not good and the place is dirty. Windows in front of booths are dirty and dust all over building including lights and AC vents. Will not go back.

Ive returned twice to Logans since my original review and have noticed an improvement in the service. One thing that I cant quite put my finger on is that something there is upsetting my stomach before our entree arrives. I have ruled out the peanuts since I dont eat that many. That leaves the rasberry tea or the yeast rolls. Dont blame the restaurant just wish I knew what is upsetting my stomach before we eat there.

Great food and fun atmosphere. Good for families or a group of friends on game day. I have tried five different entrees and loved them all. Service is excellent.

We had a coupon for a free app for my birthday so we went. It was a good experience. The app we picked was the chips and Queso. They were very good, however, they gave way more Queso than they did chips. We had extra Queso left with nothing to dip in it. That is something they may want to adjust, considering the current cost of dairy. Maybe more chips and less Queso. We both had burgers. They were seasoned very well and delicious. I got mine without the bun as I always do. I dipped a couple bites in the Queso. My burger had swiss, onions, and mushrooms. Very delicious! I had corn with mine, my wife had cole slaw with hers. They were fine. The service was fine. No complaints there. It wasn't crowded so an overall good experience.

My wife and I went here at 6pm on a Thursday night...and lets just say it was a less than stellar experience. I'll start from the beginning. For reference, the restaurant was roughly half full (and the bar was empty) when we walked in. There was no hostess in sight to greet us. We stood there for about 5 mins before a waitress asked if we needed some help. I said yes, so she grabbed some menus and proceeded to seat us. As she began to walk us to a table the hostess came around the corner and forcefully told her to, "Wait!" So, the waitress apologized to us and we stood around for another few minutes before the hostess finally seated us. From that point, it got worse. We sat at the table for another fifteen minutes watching waiters and waitresses walk past us without even so much as a head nod of acknowledgement. I had to waive down a waiter just to take our drink order. I requested the hostess get a manager so I could explain the poor service. When the manager came, she proceeded to make excuses for why the waiter was performing poorly. When he returned he dropped off the drinks and immediately started to leave. At this point, we had been there for roughly 30 minutes and we still had not ordered, so I had to call him back to tell him we were ready to order. We then presented a buy one entree receive $12 off a second entree coupon. He said, ok, it's a valid coupon. So, we ordered an appetizer (fried pickles) a 12oz Ribeye, and Fried Shrimp. We also asked to receive some of the complimentary buttered rolls. He returned with the rolls, dropped them off without acknowledging us, and immediately turned and left. We did not have appetizer plates, utensils, or napkins. So, I had to get up from the table and grab some utensils off another table. I then asked him for appetizer plates so we had somewhere to place our rolls while we ate them. He returned with two plates that he said were hot ("because they just came out of the dishwasher"). Both plates had chunks of food still stuck to them. The manager then brought out my wife's salad. Then, our entrees came out. Our appetizer never came so I told the person dropping off our food to cancel it. The waiter never apologized for not bringing the appetizer. The manager came back around to see how things were going and we explained it was still terrible. Again, more excuses, "he's new, they over sat him, he forgot to put in the appetizer, yadda yadda yadda." I sympathize with servers and bartenders, because I've been one, and if he was new then why wasn't someone helping him? Why let an entire section receive terrible service. That's not an excuse to justify crappy service. That's still a failure by the other waitstaff and managers. Anyway, the Ribeye and Shrimp were good, but before we had even finished our dinner the waiter placed the check on the table. He never asked how the food was, he never asked if we wanted drink refills, he never asked if we wanted dessert. What the hell, who does that? At this point, my wife and I just looked at each other in disbelief and laughed. The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. To make matters worse, he didn't even remove the $12 for the coupon we had presented. Again, I had to waive him down to explain his error. His response, "Oh yeah, I forgot to do that." He grabbed the bill and walked off. My wife and I sat there for at least another 10 minutes and he never returned; not even to check another one of his tables, so I know other tables were receiving crappy service as well. At this point, I just placed enough cash on the table to cover the bill and we left. I've been to a lot of restaurants and experienced terrible service before, but this was one of the worst. When people go to a restaurant to spend their hard earned money, they expect at least a decent experience. Is that too much to ask? As a restaurant owner/manager, I'd be embarrassed if this was the quality of service my restaurant was offering.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after a few days stay at the beau rivage. We live in New Orleans and needed a place to eat before heading home. He spotted Logan's from the highway. Once we exited it took us forever to find because we saw signs but couldn't find the restaurant. It's literally behind best buy. That's why there's 4 stars. Anyways, we got there about 15 minutes after it opened and were seated immediately. I had the kickin' shrimp trio and let me just say, I enjoyed this 15.99 meal more than anything I ate at the beau. It wasn't overpriced and it was super yummy! I figured everything was good and fresh because it just opened and they weren't busy for lunch hour yet. Overall I would definitely come back if I were in the area again. I would come here over Texas Roadhouse.

Took forever for my food. Bartender inexperienced. Ribeye was mostly fat. Told waiter who didn't care. Won't go back.

So disappointed. Came here late on Mother's Day for dinner, which also happened to be my birthday. I really wanted a big old steak or prime rib for my birthday dinner. We found this place on Yelp. From the start, it went wrong. We couldn't FIND this restaurant. There was no signage from the main street that we could see and we circled the area for a long time before we finally found it tucked away in the back of the parting lot. The restaurant was FREEZING. Hey, I know you Southerners love to crank up the air conditioning, but this was ridiculous. My sister in law and I were chilled to the bone. Both the prime rib for me and the rib eye my brother got was TOO SALTY. Holy mackerel - whatever the rub was made our eyes water because they were so salty that there was no way we could any part of the meat's "bark" - usually my favorite part of prime rib. We barely touched our mains. The good: Excellent rolls. A very friendly and sassy waiter. UPDATE: I appreciated the personal response from the management after reading my review.
