Excellent food. It's not terribly authentic Greek, but it tastes great. The salads, hummus, gyros... all excellent. My only complaint is the service. I'm actually surprised by how many people say the service was excellent. I'd chalk it up to one bad experience, but I've been numerous times and the service was always fair at best, usually very slow and my most recent visit was downright miserable. Not matter how many tables are occupied, the service always seems completely scattered and overwhelmed. But at least usually the guy I assume is the owner and his staff make an effort to be friendly. My last visit, this past Friday, seemed to be a bad day to stop by. The assumed-owner seemed completely overwhelmed and would swoop down on our table for a few seconds an respond curtly to our requests before rushing away again. I was taken aback by how rude he was at one point. But, he's usually very nice... so I didn't take it personally. But I'll be going back, I'm sure. The food is worth a little bit of hassle from the staff.

Their gyros are pretty damn good. The prices are quite reasonable too. It is always a place to consider for dining out.

me & my husband had lunch here last week! It didn't disappoint! We both had gyros that were extremely yummy...& the hummus was also good! We will def be back to try other things on the menu...I normally like to play it safe at new restaurants!

Great little local cafe. Started with the soup and hummus, both were amazing. I would say that the portion of soup was very small, the sup was the size of a tea cup. We both had the Phillie steak gyro and it was so delicious. If you go, you must get that! Over all fast service, great atmosphere and good food. I recommend.

Was back in that neck of the woods and after reading Jeese M. and Randy T's reviews thought I would give it my own try. They were not off the mark. I had the Chicken BBQ gyro (*** stars) the pita was not toasty or crisp and the chicken while tender, lacked personality, I started off with the Hummus (*** stars) and again the pita was just warm and limp. I am used to having it lightly toasted giving it a crispy texture. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is quite enjoying. I am not a big gyro fan and other than salads their menu is somewhat limited. m. I have to agree with Jesse M. the service was the highlight of my visit. If I am in the mood for a fresh salad or gyro and am in the area, then I will stop b again.

I thought there would be more ethnic food on the menu but it's pretty traditional with a Greek twist. I had the chicken gyro which was really good. Very good bread. But the read treat was the feta ranch sauce that goes with the flat friend potatoes. Yum! That won me over. Service was also great. I'll be back

I love Philly Cheese Steaks and I have to say this one was the best on the Coast of Mississippi. Just the way I like it. tons of meat and cheese with the best french fries I have tasted!!! I recommend this place to anyone looking for something a little out of the ordinary and creative.

What a pleasant surprise for D'Iberville!! I had the gyro salad with their feta ranch which was so delicious. The salad was HUGE and came with their marinated cucumbers and onions which were excellent and a nice change from the usual Greek salad toppings. The salad also came with some sort of cracker, maybe they were pita chips? Anyway they were super yummy. I also shared some of my husbands flat fries... Make sure you get the feta ranch with them! I want to go back and try their falafel and get more of their marinated cucumbers... It's dangerous knowing that I can get decent Mediterranean food so close to my house!

Great food. Friendly service. Love the hummus. Overall great especially since they're the only ones that offer the kind of food!

In Mississippi visiting my best friend. She had been raving about Aristo's, so I decided to check it out. Located in a strip mall area and looks tiny from the outside. Expands quite a bit inside. It's dark and cool...very subdued and quiet (not what I expected). You sit and get waited on (I thought you would order at the counter...service was a pleasant surprise). The server was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Just attentive enough! We decided on three appetizers instead of full-size meals. We ordered a combo of hummus with pita, marinated cucumbers and onion, and falafel. Hummus was $5.29, cucumbers were $4.99, and Falafel was $4.99. The hummus and hot pita were some of the best I've ever tasted...just delicious and big enough for both of us to share. You had plenty of pita for the amount of hummus (I hate it when you run out of chips, pita, crackers, etc. to eat whatever you have ordered in a restaurant!). The two marinated olives on top were amazing...I could eaten a bowl full of just the olives (maybe they should add marinated olives to their menu). The cucumbers and onions were also really, really good. Big chunks of cucumber and sliced onions with a slightly sweet, vinegar, Greek-seasoning marinade. However, I think for $4.99, it was a fairly small order. But delicious and I would definitely order it again. The falafel was the only down side for me...not the flavor, it was tremendous, but they were not cooked all the way through. Although they had a nice crunch on the outside, they were almost raw on the inside. The Z-sauce they were served with was also perfect! The hummus was SO good...the only thing I wish was that they offered multiple flavors...I think I would spend my paycheck on a combo plate! Maybe an olive hummus, a roasted red pepper hummus, or something like that.

Had lunch here yesterday by myself. I ordered mini crab cakes and a cup of corn and crawfish soup. The soup was really good and the crab cakes were wonderful! Loved the sauce that came with them! The staff were really friendly and helpful! I can't wait to go back!

Food was awful. Fries were soggy and greasy. The sandwich had so much grease the pita bread was falling apart. Needless to say the food went straight to the garbage where it belongs.

Very nice place to eat lunch or dinner. Fast service, friendly service, great good, and good beer! It was very clean and spacious. The helping sizes were perfect and they even wrapped up my food for me. TV and music. Decor is perfect for the location. Outside patio! Great experience will def be back!

Ordered gyro, polish dog and mini crab cakes. Gyro and polish dog was good, not the best. Mini crab cakes were not cakes but fried balls---nothing close to crab cakes; very disappointed.

Who would eat at Subway or the like with processed pre-cut meat when they can eat fresh cooked-to-ordered grilled meats? Gyro, turkey, chicken, shrimp, vegetables ... On a hot fresh pita. Amazing. Don't mean to bash Subway... But this is so far above that choice, and about the same price. I would have taken a photo but I hungrily ate my gyro before I remembered. Z sauce is great!

We both got the Gyro and flat potato fries with extra Z sauce. It was really good!!! They have great specials! I do wish they had an ongoing military discount instead of just one day. I would definitely go back!

Summary: When in D'Iberville this is my go to spot! It never gets old and the customer service is amazing! The great things to order here are the: -Pita Chips with Feta Ranch -Gyro -Gyro Salad -Cesar Salad -Philly Cheesesteak Gyro While the servings are not entirely huge, they leave you feeling full and satisfied. Even though it is also a bit pricey for what you're getting, I always find a way to justify it because the feta ranch alone is divine!! I love the gyro salad and the lettuce is always fresh and crisp! When I get it to go they always separate my meats from the veggies which is nice since most places will just let it sit and soak which ruins the lettuce! Wonderful dive-y place with a super casual feel. Love the food and miss it now that i'm gone!

Hidden treasure in the shopping plaza. Was recommended by my boss to check out for the Gyro. Ended up having a chicken artichoke pesto wrap......awesome! Also tried their version of fries. Large flat slices of potato. Actually pretty tasty! Definitely worth another visit!

I was craving for hummus and was satisfied! They give you a lot of soft pita bread. If you want a caesar salad the small caesar is pretty big!

Went here with a few buddies to grab a quick bite to eat and here's the lowdown. The Service: The service was prompt, accurate with the orders, and friendly. Good stuff. The Food: The food here is pretty good, I don't particularly care for the flat potato fries (super greasy) but the gyro that I ordered was good, tasted fresh and whatnot. Basically exactly what I think of when I want a gyro, nothing more and nothing less. The Cost: It's a taaaaaaaaaaaaaaad bit pricey for what I'd consider to be street food but it still won't break the bank. The Bottom Line: The bottom line is this place is "A-OK" which is what the three star rating on yelp means :)

I went there Monday with my fiancee and our kids and it was wonderful. We started off with the Hummus and pita triangles, it was excellent!!! Me and my fiancee ordered the Gyro, again Excellent!!!! The kids order the Pizza and chicken strips, hard to mess up chicken strips, but the Pizza was a good mixture of the pita break and cheese. My 16 year old daughter got their BLT Pita and she really enjoyed it as well. I highly recommend this place, it was not busy at all, which after eating there I am amazed you can get a seat!!!!!

We've since returned to Aristo's and had a reasonably good experience. We've now tried several of the gyros offered and they've all been good. We also tried the feta ranch, and it is pretty impressive. I have not tried one yet, but they have filled their small display cooler with all of the salads they offer, and they look good. I was particularly happy to see the baklava removed from the packaging and displayed proudly in the case. Our service, which was good on our first visit, was even better this time around. The restaurant has never been full, which disappoints me. Aristo's make a good gyro and is certainly worth a try. They haven't impressed me to the point of increasing my score, but I enjoyed myself and will go back.

I went to eat off a whim, the tag line "food you can get excited about" intrigued me. Found out they served Greek food; I was quite intrigued even more, love Greek. Was seated promptly, greeted, the whole nine yards. Menu was a little selective; gyro sandwiches (several different kinds), salads and dessert. Ordered hummus and a cup of the bisque; both quite good. I tried the sauteed shrimp gyro, not good at all. When the waitress asked, I said it was not what I expected and I knew better than to order it next time. This is when the circus started. Next thing I know I hear her speaking across the restaurant to the owner, who then comes to the table. He tells me the menu is made to order and commented that the people in the back might not have grilled the shrimp with the onions or something. Then he makes a comment about how the people in this area are "hillbilly and closed minded". I couldn't believe it, I am a native to the coast and that meant me was talking about me too. I do not recommend the place based on selection and overall merit.

The Gyros were understuffed and the taziki sauce light ( we had to ask for extra) and the lamb was not as tasty as we have experienced in the past. The flat fries were almost inedible they were so greasy! I'm sorry guys but for the money we spent we woulda been much happier with dinner at Mr Greek! Note: while I doubt that most restaurants make their own Baklava I was dissapointed to see theirs displayed in the cooler in the box from the distributor, this was a little tacky.
